"Beautiful boutique hotel in a restored building with great decor. It is in a great location overlooking the river, close to the station and an easy walk into the town centre. We had a superior double room and luckily got the one with the corner turret window with great view to the castle. Large room with opening windows, comfortable bed and separate toilet and shower. Comfortable lounge chairs to sit and watch the Euro football matches with a wine (or two) from the honesty bar downstairs - what a brilliant idea! Good breakfast in a nice dining room, plus the lounge to relax and read. The weather stopped us using the back terrace which looked inviting. The host Sebastian was very welcoming and helpful (organised laundry for us). We were sorry not to be able to stay longer, highly recommended."

"This is an excellent Hotel. The breakfast (especially the coffee) was the best of the seven other places we stayed in Germany. While it is not the easiest place to find, it is worth the effort. Rooms were clean and the service very good. "
