"Excellent! This is almost the best hostel I've ever stayed in. I have to elaborate on the advantages I experienced: 1️⃣ **Security:** As an all-female hostel, card access is required at night. 2️⃣ **Cleanliness:** Shoes must be changed upon entry. The toilets provide seat covers, and the showers are cleaned promptly. 3️⃣ **Spacious and Tidy:** The room aisles are very neat. Luggage fits perfectly under the bed. The bathroom is spacious with a separate wet and dry area. The beds are wider than typical hostel beds, and there are ample cabinets and a small table for storage. 4️⃣ **Comprehensive Facilities:** Upon check-in, mineral water, a bath towel, an eye mask, and earplugs are provided. The bathroom even has conditioner! The washbasin area offers cotton swabs and shower caps, and there are washing machines and dryers available. The common areas are great for lounging, sitting, or working. 5️⃣ **Excellent Service:** The staff were attentive, helped with luggage, and were very patient when I lost my room card midway through my stay. 6️⃣ **Convenient Location:** It's a one-minute walk to the subway station and very close to Sea World. 7️⃣ **High-Quality Guests:** The overall atmosphere is pleasant due to the considerate guests."

"Very good price for what it is. Location is a little far out (but right next to the metro so no problems) and well away from the touristy areas. It felt like living like a local in Shenzhen! Food options were therefore excellent. Those from abroad should have these expectations: it is an ordinary 41st floor apartment in an apartment complex, but with around 20 beds put in there. It is not your typical European hostel. There are two bathrooms shared between this many people. You can imagine the pros and cons of this - but generally I did not mind after a while. The sheets were clean and the curtains were excellent and black-out. I really enjoyed my stay here, and recommend it if you’re on a budget and don’t mind a few tradeoffs. There is no check in desk or similar, but the customer service through messaging was excellent. WeChat is recommended. Overall I am happy."

"You get your own bathroom inside the room (which you need to share with your roommates) but it makes the room very humid. There was a little bit of mold in my cabinet and also I feel like they don't properly clean the beds. Between the mattress and the wall was a lot of dust and I feel like the curtains could be washed for once. It also didn't help my bed was right next to the bathroom door, some people even forget to close the door while the ventilator is on. The service was good, the staff was helpful whenever I encountered a problem. They speak English as well. Many rather old people (30+) and work& travelers were staying here, so if you're around your twenties you won't find many peers I'm afraid."

"I usually never bother to write reviews for accommodations, but after having a simple lunch for over 100 RMB in Huaqiangbei today, I suddenly felt compelled to review the Qiyou Hostel where I'm staying. For just 88 RMB a night, it's not only clean, comfortable, and has warm, attentive service, but it's truly a condensed five-star hotel experience. The lobby is spacious and bright, and they offer free freshly ground coffee – yes, free! Many five-star hotels I've stayed in don't even offer complimentary freshly ground coffee! They also have free tea, direct-drink hot and cold water, and separate male and female rest areas. The guests all seem very respectful; the lounge area is really quiet. The sleeping pods are incredibly comfortable too; the bed is spacious enough, there's air conditioning, a locker for personal items, and hooks to hang things. Everyone in the sleeping area also has a locker that can fit a large suitcase. The lovely front desk staff told me that if I have a lot of luggage, I can store it in their baggage room. They have a wide selection of books available for free loan. In the evenings, you'll see groups of guests sitting in the lobby, chatting softly – many foreigners, men and women, old and young, all looking very relaxed. Besides not providing disposable toiletries, they offer everything else a star-rated hotel would. Oh, and you can buy toiletries and other common necessities from the vending machine in the lobby, and the prices are very reasonable. You can tell the owner genuinely cares. Highly recommend!"

"Staying here was super convenient for my trip to Hong Kong, and it's close to the border crossing. The subway station is right downstairs. What really sold me was the affordable price, and they had all the amenities: disposable toothbrushes, earplugs, slippers, everything! For this price, what more could you ask for?"

"The location is fantastic! The subway station is right downstairs, and a bustling commercial street is just across the road, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The room was spotlessly clean, and the front desk staff were incredibly kind and helpful, promptly resolving any issues we had. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shenzhen! The owner mentioned they have weekly activities every May, which sounds pretty cool. I happened to be there on a Saturday and got to watch a movie with other guests, haha!"

"I would recommend this place. I stayed 4 nights and every day the rooms were cleaned. As usual in china cities, the guesthouse is not easy to find, so if you're foreigner, keep phone number or wechat contact ready. Metro is just opposite the building entry, very convenient.
