"I stayed here one night, en route to a somewhat professional meeting, and it was fine. The downstairs kitchen is very small but was cozy with a varied little crowd: a cinematic Peruvian business traveler, a vintage working class hero from the Balkans who made himself world class chicken, and a Dutch cosmopolitan who was bewildered by the strange outdated scenery in Leipzig.
The location of this hostel is likely the best among the choices as it's situated very close to the railway station and a museum. The staff was exceptionally friendly, for European standards, so this was a big plus.
The dorm I stayed in was the large one, but it's divided into three smaller rooms so it's rather quiet at night, which is good."
