"Location:
Located halfway up a mountain above Arima Onsen Station, there's a shuttle bus from Arima Onsen Station, but otherwise the walk is quite arduous due to the uphill climb.
Environment:
This is a stunning hotel, with a large outdoor pool and a stunning balcony view. It's a resort hotel particularly popular with Japanese people.
Room:
The room was incredibly spacious, exceptionally large for a Japanese hotel. Not only did it have a bed, but there was also a tatami mat for sleeping, and plenty of mattresses and quilts. The sofa was also large, and the refrigerator was stocked with complimentary drinks.
Hot Springs:
The hot springs are located on the second and ninth floors, with the second floor open until 10:30 PM and the ninth floor until 12:30 AM. The ninth floor offers the best views, and the golden hot spring is quite special, with its high iron content, a hallmark of Arima Onsen.
Recommendations:
There's a shop on the first floor. I highly recommend the skincare and toiletries. The Tabibijin series is excellent, and the hot spring soap is highly recommended. The lip balm and soda are also excellent. Price: Around 2,000 NTD per night, which is a very good value overall. It's one of the best onsen hotels I've stayed in Japan. I highly recommend it, and the breakfast is super generous."
