The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only.

Relatively cheap accommodation with window/balcony facing karst mountain, and just 100m from the Li River. Some nice Thai themed embellishments decorate the rooms. Bed is only a small 'double' and has one useable powerpoint near bed right side + light controls. Aircon works well (only small room so to be expected). Overall, OK for 100 RMB per night, but does have a few issues. Booked the 'special promotion' room. Trip.com indicates a room size of 12m square metres, which is incorrect. I measured it at 9.5 square, including the bathroom. If including the small balcony (2.5 sq m), the total room area is 12m best case. Only large enough for single occupancy, with small amount of luggage. Two people would need to climb over eachother to move around. No where near enough space for two - luggage would need to be kept outside on the balcony! Hot water works but is not properly calibrated. Either boiling hot or freezing cold. Extremely difficult to find the right temperature to shower with any comfort. I put full hot, and waited. Water got super hot after 40 seconds. Adjusted to reduce by setting at middle between hot/cold, but water temperature remained super hot. Then pushed to full cold. Water temperature transitioned to cold 29 seconds later. Then put back to middle position but water remained dead cold. Tested this both ways for at least 4 minutes each and remained either scolding hot or freezing cold!! Hotel provides signs to indicate desire to 'please clean room' and I hang this on outer door handle for two days, but to no avail So can only assume the owners don't provide this service. This establishment is only rated as a 2 star hotel, and given the low price point, you really can't complain - on the condition that the tariff is low. Acceptable for 100 -120 RMB per night. Unacceptable for much more than this though.

This is a really cozy guesthouse, perfect for families. We arrived past 1 AM, so we didn't pay much attention to anything else that night. The next morning, we went down for breakfast with our kids. The landlady was incredibly welcoming, and her Guilin rice noodles were absolutely delicious – I had one bowl and then another! The place has an antique, charming vibe, and the host was super friendly too. We chatted over tea, played with their dog, and they even brought us some fruit – the shatian pomelo was amazing! All in all, it's a warm and inviting spot, great for families or friends traveling together. The price is reasonable, offering excellent value for money! I really wish we could have stayed a few more days.

Make sure to connect with them before arriving and ask for the exact location, it's across west street and you can take a ferry or book a taxi to take you to the exact location since the bus will only drop you off on the main road. They also offer 24/7 e-motor rental, which is a must in Yangshuo since it’s part of the local travel culture. Just a small tip — remember to take the umbrella attachment for the bike, the sun can be really intense. What truly makes this place different is the personalised, family-like service. The staff actually pay attention to your habits and travel style, and recommend activities that genuinely suit you instead of pushing touristy options. For example, one day we got caught in the rain while riding back. The staff had actually messaged us earlier to take shelter, but we missed it and ended up drenched. When we returned, they immediately suggested we take a hot shower and even prepared a pot of hot ginger tea with red dates, personally delivering it to our room. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. This is not a typical five- or six-star luxury hotel, but that’s not the point. The atmosphere is unique — cosy, warm, and genuinely homely. This time I came to Yangshuo with friends and chose Guyueyuefeng·Shanshe. I'm so satisfied! The hotel is right next to Yulong River Ecological Park, and you can walk to the Ten-Mile Gallery. Renting a small electric scooter makes getting around super convenient. It's quiet yet close to everything, and I slept really well at night. The room was clean and spacious. We booked the Yuefeng Triple Room, and it wasn't cramped at all for three people. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the hygiene details were also very well done. The viewing platform and 'Sky Mirror' on the top floor are perfect for photos. Watching the sunset and taking stunning landscape shots in the evening, my friends all exclaimed how amazing it was! The facilities are also complete, with a children's playground and laundry room, and parking is convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I come to Yangshuo. I had a truly satisfying stay! The location of Wangjianglou is unbeatable, very close to West Street and the Li River, making getting around super convenient. I specifically booked the 'Leisure Courtyard View Twin Room,' and it was clean, tidy, well-equipped, and completely odor-free. The courtyard environment is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The twin room was spacious enough; my family and I didn't feel cramped at all. The staff were friendly and responsive. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It was an impeccable accommodation experience, deserving of a five-star rating!
