"Service: Excellent. We drove ourselves, and the butler was waiting for us at the garage entrance in advance, proactively helping us with our luggage. They also provided parking vouchers. We could take bottled water from the front desk whenever we wanted. When it rained, the front desk also allowed us to take umbrellas freely. Plus, there's a bookstore in front of the hotel, so you can even take books back to your room to read if you find something you like. Environment: Superb. The public areas are very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor spaces to suit different preferences. The location is also very convenient, allowing us to wander through Ziyang Old Street at our leisure. It's also very close to one of the entrances to the ancient city wall. Facilities: The speaker system is very stylish, and the electric kettle is a trendy, '网红' (influencer-favorite) model. Cleanliness: Quite clean."

"This hotel is quite charming—it’s a large, old house that has been nicely converted into several hotel rooms. Our room was very comfortable. However, a heads-up regarding the bathroom: there was no door on the toilet area, and the shower was an all-glass enclosure. Since I was traveling with my husband, it wasn't an issue for us, but if you are traveling with friends, you might want to be aware of this lack of privacy. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the City Wall and super close to several great restaurants and cool bars. We also liked the service; the staff were quite attentive. One thing I found confusing, though, was that they didn't register my address as per the usual government standard for foreign guests, which most hotels in China follow. As for cleanliness, it was standard for China—there were a few stray hairs in parts of the room (usually women's hair), but I find this happens in practically any hotel here. Overall, it was a good stay!"

"This hotel completely exceeded my expectations. The service was exquisite. Before I even left Zhoushan, they contacted me via WeChat to inquire about my estimated arrival time and turned on the air conditioning in advance. Upon arrival, since cars couldn't be driven to the entrance, the butler and his assistant were waiting at the alleyway entrance, creating a feeling of welcoming guests home. The room was tastefully decorated, and entering the courtyard instantly calmed my restless heart. Located next to the famous Ziyang Ancient Street, the guesthouse is a perfect oasis of tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle. The ”cat butler's” calm demeanor was infectious, making me passively quiet down. I couldn't help but fall in love with this place and with Linhai. The butler and his assistant's tone of voice was also very calming. I highly recommend staying for a few days; it's a true cultivation of one's character."

"On September 16, I rode 151 kilometers from Yueqing to Kuocang Town. It was mainly convenient to eat and live, 2 kilometers away from the mountain gate of Kuocang Mountain. But I couldn’t fall asleep at night. The noise of the old air conditioner outside the accommodation and the rest of the outside machine was buzzing like ultrasonic waves. No wonder I saw the same comments. I hope that the store will pay attention to and improve the facilities. I will get up until 2 o’clock and go out to climb Kuocang Mountain. 26.13 kilometers of mountain climbing. Stop all the way, it takes 2 hours and 13 minutes."

"Cao Su almost satisfied all my imaginations of a secluded countryside, with a quiet village, trickling water, stone walls and green tiles, and bamboo forests rustling in the wind. Unlike Beijing, where I live, the mild and humid countryside in the south of the Yangtze River touched me almost instantly. Back to Cao Su, the owner Shuicao is enthusiastic and gentle, the aunt in the store is kind and amiable, and the two dogs in the yard, Xiaohei and Heijian, are extremely smart and well-behaved. The best mornings and nights here are when you can stroll around the village or sit in the yard and read after eating the healthy breakfast prepared by the aunt in the morning. At night, you can listen to the chirping of insects and lie on a recliner to watch the stars in the sky. Returning to nature is really realized here. This morning, I left the store and returned to Beijing. Xiaohei and the aunt were not sent to the village entrance by me. I think I will come back, because Cao Su not only has scenery, but more importantly, it has human touch."
