Armenia is not bad, the hotel room is also OK, very clean, there are many Chinese people in this hotel, communication is very convenient, their service is also OK, because there is no elevator, they also helped us with the luggage, you can order Chinese food, but it is a little expensive, after all, overseas, the price of this country is not low. Overall, the experience is good.

The sign at the entrance says 5 stars 🌟, but Ctrip shows it as 4 stars. The rooms were quite clean and nice; it's not far from the attractions, the hotel is quite new, the service was good and the staff were very polite, and the price was reasonable.

I'm worried that the walls are a little thin or I can hear the outside voice. It was usually beautiful.

I stayed in this hotel for a week, extending the rent twice, more than some other guests, so I can tell everything in fact.
The hotel was very enjoyed first of all that everything is new and clean as I love. White towels, coats, bedding, everything without yellow and spots.
New repair, air conditioner works well, there is a pool where you can lie down and burn in hot weather.
The managers were welcoming, participatory, was provided with a transfer from the airport where they met with a rose and brought to the hotel, it was very pleasant)
Defects: The classics for breakfast - pancakes and cereal casca, as well as ordinary eggs and coffee machines to drink cappuccino or at least American, were offered only soluble coffee.
It was very surprised, as I expected to try the real Armenian coffee.
There were cooked eggs, that plus, I believe.
The TV was unable to set up to look, but WiFi was excellent, quietly could lead online meetings, everything looked at his computer that wanted herself.
There is a 24-hour shop nearby and the most important - the Topaz tavern, where just the most delicious khinkali, it's accurate! )
In general, the hotel recommends that the hotel has high requirements for the environment, purity, repair.

This is my second time staying at this hotel! The room is single, which is convenient for 1 traveler; the room has everything you need, including a kettle and tea accessories. The bed is comfortable, the linen is good, there are slippers and a robe. In the morning I was very pleased with the breakfast made of delicious Armenian products. Since my flight was late in the evening, they extended my stay by half a day without any problems. A very convenient hotel to wait between flights.

The hotel is in a great location in the city centre, within walking distance to tourist attractions and transport links. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and quickly resolved some minor issues I had. The room was reasonably comfortable, although the walls were very thin making it noisy. The cleaning service seems disorganised: I was only given a hand towel when I arrived that I think may have been used, and the cleaning staff barged into my room without knocking when I was on the toilet. Overall I think it's a good choice for short stays of one or two nights but I wouldn't want to stay longer.

Amazing
AAnonymous UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Thumbs up to all the staff .The location was very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transportation.
GGuest UserI’ve never written a bad hotel review ever in my life, but unfortunately, here it goes. It’s a shame since other past reviews are very positive, but I need to be frank and honest about my experience and will be diving the ratings according to subcategories so that it is fair, since some aspects of the stay were great and some not so much.
Check in process: 2 stars
This is not the ‘typical’ hotel entrance where the lobby is on the ground floor. The floor in which you enter is 1/f. The floor of the hotel is 4/f, but this is clearly stated as a signage at the entrance (see photo attached).
Upon arrival, I went towards the hotel entrance . There, I stood in front of an operating system, where guests would need to enter the hotel using a key fob. Of course, I wouldn’t have this key fob at hand at check in. There are no clear instructions in any language above the operator stating how you should call the receptionist using the operator to open the door for you (refer to attached photo). Thankfully, a passerby was kind enough to help me call the receptionist and asked her to open the door for me. It is also better to have mobile data at hand so you can communicate with the staff via whatsapp text/call if you cannot enter, since I think this is the faster means of communicating with guests.
When I checked in, I explained my confusion to entering the building. I told the receptionist lady that I couldn’t enter since there are no instructions in any language above the operator. She then had the audacity to tell me that there ARE indeed instructions above the operator im English, and I should have followed it. Again, the photo I attached shows no such instructions, so I do not comprehend what she is talking about at all.
Upon departure, I voiced out these issues, and the more reasonable receptionists said that they usually send these check in details via email, though I had not received such email(s).
Noise level and disturbance: 2 stars
My room had really thin walls and you can easily hear people passing through in the hallway. I got to a room with a balcony and up until 2 am, I still continuously heard 2 women talking loudly non-stop in the room next to me. To attempt to put a halt to this, I called the receptionist using the calling button thrice in my room, since the initial receptionist lady who checked me in said they provided 24 hour service, and to my dismay, no one bothered answering me.
I had to personally take matters into my own hands and asked them to keep it down.
Room and amenities: 5 stars
In terms of amenities provided within the room and how it was renovated and all, it deserves 5 stars. It was clean and the amenities provided were plentiful for a short stay.
GGuest Userthis place is pretty clean. i liked the bathrooms, the rooms had nice lockers and everything you could need near your bed (a shelf, some light, a socket, a curtain). the breakfast was quite good and healthy.
the only bad thing - common area is available for guests 24/7, which is cool for people who want to eat at night but terrible for everyone else. i accept noise at hostels, it's normal when there're many people sharing the space but this time it was something special, i always sleep well and still i woke up several times, there's no barrier between the room and the kitchen so all the noise can be heard perfectly.
in general the hostel is not really cozy and lacks the vibe of the hostel, it's more formal, which is okay for sleeping but doesn't create any memory beyond that.
BBasharJust checked in and wanted to leave my review now since tomorrow’s my last day in Yerevan and I’ll be busy. I booked one night through Trip.com — everything is exactly as described. The room is clean, cozy, and has some nice extras: a sofa that turns into a small bed, an extra cabinet, a bidet in the bathroom, and they even offered welcome tea and water. The bed mattress is super comfortable too, which I really appreciated.
The staff are very welcoming and polite. There’s no elevator, but they’re happy to help with your bags and anything you need.
The location might be a bit tricky to find the first time since the hotel is inside a residential block. But once you get there, it’s easy to reach again. Just look for the small road right after Armeconombank, follow it all the way to the end, and when you reach the backyard, look to your right — you’ll see the building.
This review comes after changing many hotels over the past week — and honestly, this one stands out for its value, comfort, and service. Definitely booking again on my next trip to Armenia.
GGuest UserGreat location and good breakfast. However, there's only one lift, so expect some waiting. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which makes it a bit messy and dirty.Hopefully, it will look much better once the work is done.
I recently booked a private tour through hotel to visit Khor Virap, Noravank, Tatev Monastery and the Aerial tramway. While I appreciate the arrangement, I wanted to share some concerns about the experience.
The driver did not provide any information about the destinations and only drove us between locations. Additionally, he dud not wear seatbelt, which led to a police stop and issue a fine. This was quite unsetting for us. The trip was cost AMD 99000.00. The driver never offer or stop for lunch and break.
We hope the hotel will take this into consideration to ensure future guests have a safer and more comfortable experience.
YYaoyaoThe hotel is near the Republic Square. We drove by ourselves and there was a parking space in front of the door, which was very convenient for travel. The hotel facilities are complete, the lobby is spacious, the room size is decent, there is mineral water, and the breakfast is rich. The front desk staff is kind, warm and friendly. The hotel is cost-effective. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights from September 27 to October 1. It is recommended to stay.
GGuest UserIf you get a good room, it's spacious, and considering the buffet breakfast included, it's a very reasonably priced hotel. It's also nice that they provide 1.5 liters of mineral water with each cleaning.
One minor issue was the smell in the bathroom. There seemed to be dirt accumulating in the drain, and it smelled quite bad. Well, there's a door between the bathroom and the main bathroom area, so it's fine if you keep it closed while sleeping, but when you open the door in the morning, the accumulated odor is terrible.
Also, the location is poor for sightseeing. Yerevan's public transport is very aggressive and completely unsuitable for tourists, so you'll mainly be getting around on foot or by taxi. I walked to the Cascades and the Opera House from the hotel every day, and it took almost an hour each way.
The staff may not be the most friendly, but they are very sincere and helpful. On my first day, I noticed the lock on the balcony door was broken and told them, and they immediately brought out their tools and repaired it in about an hour or two (though the lock wouldn't open afterwards).
GGuest UserI booked a room at Army Hostel when I realized it would be great to lie down and rest on a proper bed between flights.
Pros: The location is fantastic! It's close to the Cascade and Republic Square. I also noticed a supermarket and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.
The bed was quite comfortable, the outlets worked, and the shower was clean. For the price, everything was decent. Keep in mind that the hostel is on the 5th floor, and you'll need to use the stairs.
The men at the reception were welcoming; they calmly and kindly showed me everything and explained it all.
No cons found.
AAni M.Mövenpick Hotel Yerevan is a very good option within its segment, especially if you appreciate fresh, newly opened hotels.
The hotel has only recently opened, and you can really feel it — everything is absolutely new, clean, and fresh, from the rooms to the common areas. The rooms feel modern, comfortable, and well maintained, which makes the stay especially pleasant.
The location may be slightly debatable depending on what you are looking for. It is still very central and within walking distance of basically every major point in the city, but perhaps a little farther from the main walking and leisure areas compared to some other central hotels. That said, this is Yerevan — “far” here means around a 10-minute walk, so it is all very relative.
What really stood out was the staff and service. Everyone was extremely welcoming, attentive, and genuinely willing to accommodate guests in every possible way. They truly try to help and make the stay comfortable.
Overall, a very pleasant impression and a hotel I would definitely consider staying at again.
