"★Overall Rating If I visit Vienna again, I would definitely stay at this hotel. I was truly impressed by both its excellent location and the outstanding service provided by the staff. ★Location The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Stephansplatz, where many of Vienna’s major attractions are located. From the hotel, you can easily walk to famous sights such as St. Stephen’s Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, the Vienna State Opera, and Hofburg Palace. In my opinion, it would be difficult to find a hotel with a better location than this. ★Room The room was very clean and well maintained. From my window, I had a view of the Donner Fountain, which was a lovely bonus. One minor issue was that the shower area could not be completely closed, so water often splashed onto the floor around the toilet and sink. In addition, the shampoo and hand soap dispensers were quite difficult to press, so you may prefer to bring your own toiletries. I’m not sure whether they came in through the open window, but I noticed around eight small insects in the room during my stay. ★Service The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Although I arrived about three hours before the official check-in time, they kindly allowed me to check in early and rest in my room. They also patiently explained how to get from the train station to the airport. One of the Asian housekeeping staff members greeted me warmly with a smile whenever we passed each other in the hallway. When I found insects in my room, a housekeeping staff member came to assist me. She kindly said, “If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to call us anytime.” Her response was thoughtful and greatly appreciated. The hotel also provided complimentary treats in the room, including Manner wafers, Coca-Cola, and apple juice, which was a nice touch."

"Forgot to take pictures, the location is very good, in the place equivalent to Beijing Wangfujing, the surrounding attractions are very concentrated. The sights in the city are within walking distance, and the subway is far away, and it is also close to the subway station. The room is large and the decor is European style, very beautiful. If you are staying in the evening, please contact Ctrip for the first time in advance, as the front desk will be off work at 10pm. Did not eat breakfast, looked at it is not very good, very few varieties, went to the opposite McDonald's to eat."

"The environment is great, and the rooftop bar is a nice touch. I had a very pleasant stay in Vienna. I was attending a conference at Hofburg Palace, which is about a one-kilometer walk from the hotel. The hotel is also within two kilometers of the city's core area."

"We came to Vienna for a few days and stayed at The Grand Ferdinand. It's a majestic and beautifully designed hotel. The breakfasts are superb, and the service is excellent; the staff helps with everything and everyone is smiling. There's a pool on the 8th floor with a wonderful view of the city. The hotel is located in the center of Vienna, which is very convenient. We were very happy with our choice. We thank the hotel for the quality service, but the sink next to the bed isn't very practical."

"Convenient location, close to the train station, with supermarkets, restaurants, and a theme park nearby. The room was clean and tidy, and the air conditioning was decent, but you could also open the balcony door for fresh air. Online check-in was available."

"The hotel rooms are in dire need of renovation. The rooms are outdated and worn. Upon arrival, we even found a sock from a previous guest under the bed. Outdoor sockets are used for outlets indoors. There was only one power outlet on one side of the bed. In the bathroom, the renovation coating on the bathtub is peeling, there's mold on the edges, and the shower head is a maximum of 1.65 meters high. A positive point is the well-functioning air conditioning. The breakfast is good, as long as you're not lactose intolerant or need gluten-free options. There were three preparations of eggs, sausages, mushrooms, and bacon, all served warm. Also, of course, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt, muesli, jam, Nutella, and fresh fruit. Unfortunately, the Kaiser rolls were too hard and dry every day, but the croissants, on the other hand, were good."

"A great hotel in the center of the inner city. All pedestrians are the main street, restaurants, shops. Very delicious breakfasts. The only thing that embarrassed - had to ask for a filling of champagne and shower gel, when checking in were empty. Otherwise everything was great."

"Extremely disappointed with the service. Our return flight was on a marathon day. The front desk confirmed that morning that we could take a taxi, but we ended up with no alternative solution as the city was completely blocked. There was no way to get around; they didn't help us find a solution for our transportation. We were very late for our return flight. We found the reception team's handling of the situation to be very poor."

"True to the Ibis standard worldwide, the rooms here are compact and equipped with all the essentials you need, though keep in mind they do not include a refrigerator or a kettle. The location is excellent, with a tram stop right in front of the hotel, making it incredibly easy to head into the city center. A short 10-minute walk will take you to the main train station, providing convenient access to various destinations. The station itself features a supermarket and several restaurants that stay open late. You’ll also find plenty of dining options in the immediate area surrounding the hotel. One of the highlights is the breakfast, which is impressive and offers a great variety of choices. However, the best surprise was opening the window to find a stunning view of a Gothic church—absolutely breathtaking!"
