Amazing
GGuest UserIncredible, super stylish boutique hotel situated in Surrey Hills district. 5 mins walk to the tram station and easy access to the city center. Bus stop close by gets you all over the city.
The hotel has a very good Greek restaurant which you may want to book in advance as it is normally busy. There is also a Mexican restaurant on the roof top with a small but stunning pool. There are tonnes of good restaurants and coffee shops in the area too.
Staff were warm, welcoming and super helpful.
We will definitely come again!

- comfy bed
- stable hot shower with refillable shower gel bottles
- fridge
- washing machine plus dryer
- lots of power ports
- very central location
- easy enough to contact the owner for info
The Not So Good:
- only one towel for three nights, maybe another one will do?
- washing machine needs some maintenance, quite dirty and needs some cleaning/dust removal. The dryer works, but can overheat, probably due to dust collecting.
- pillow was too thin, maybe another pillow will do
- room was a bit small but not surprising, was a bit hard to place my large luggage
Overall, I’d recommend the place despite some small issues that could make it the perfect place to stay. The price isn’t too bad, a bit more expensive than nearby hotels/hostels with the same room type, but I’d happily trade that for a quieter place to sleep.

GGuest UserThe rooms are on the smaller size, but they really make use of every inch of the space well. The rooms are really well designed and the decor is fun. Had a really fun stay, and being able to pre-order a cheeky afternoon drink was wonderful.

GGuest UserThe room's facilities are simple and clean, and the mattress is comfortable to sleep on. There's a park just across the road, which is great, and it's very close to Chinatown.

GGuest UserIt is an airbnb style so it is understandable there is no lift: had to carry luggage up to level 2 room. Room is rather small too, but it is a stone throw away from the Central train station.
Self service checkin, so everything is via automated door lock with passcode, even for the room. Shared toilet/bathroom is located at level 1, so just be mindful to bring your phone along with you for the passcode (or memorize it).
The wifi though, needs improvement. I barely could connect to wifi in my room. Even at level 1 where the signal is stronger, the wifi connection keeps dropping. It seems that the wifi could only support 1 device at a time.

CChinYi LuThe lobby is not easy to find, it is in the bar, but the preservation will ask if you have booked the main character's accommodation and guided in as long as you see the map on your hand.
The counter staff is very enthusiastic and the explanation is very careful. If you have any needs, you will try your best to help. Thank you very much.
Unfortunately, this place is busy with traffic. There may be drunk people talking very loudly at night. They will be noisy early in the morning. It is not recommended for people who sleep lightly, unless you can sleep like a pig like me.
Overall good, you can come to eat without accommodation

HHelen IskStaff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out was quick and seamless. Room was spotless. One of the cleanest hotels I've ever been in and extra touches such as waters in the mini Fridge and communal kitchen with juices and cereal go a long way to making this pub accommodation, a boutique Sydney stay. The hot water needs some serious work which no doubt was in the works

GGuest UserThe place was wonderful. We are greatly grateful with wonderful hospitality and friendly staff. We had a wonderful stay. The room is small for couple which we did not mind for one night. However, the place is clean somewhat the toilet is not clean when we went to bathroom, fittings such as the shower mob is falling apart, the hanging clothes is not stable, the headboard is rattling when you move.
Overall, we love the wonderful staff. Thank you

The room is small but stylish. There's a shared kitchen with everything you need.
Cons: It felt like the window, walls, and tiles in the bathroom had never been cleaned. They changed the bed linen for fresh ones, and that's it. During our four nights, they didn't clean the room even once, and they didn't take out the trash. Cockroaches
I would recommend cleaning it up and getting rid of the cockroaches, and it will be fine.
