What a gem. Because the Airport Express is so reasonable and so regular I found this hotel to be an excellent choice for getting in and out of Baku ( 30 minute journey in a comfortable airport coach) . Nothing was too much trouble, and the breakfast was superb. The room was spacious . My 63rd night of hotels this year as i literally travel around the world, and I just thought this Fly Inn was way above my expectations for such an average name ! Well Done

The hotel itself is very beautiful, and the rooms are spacious. Every day, the water (which was delicious) and toiletries were restocked. It's only a two-minute walk to the Old Town. There's a lot of food at breakfast, though I wouldn't say all of it is tasty, but there's a wide selection. You can try local cheeses. The staff brings delicious coffee right to your table. BUT there's ONE HUGE DOWNSIDE: the bars outside the window!!! Music blares until late at night and then again from 7 AM! At 1 AM, I had to put in earplugs, and even then, I could only fall asleep with them in because it felt like the music was playing right in my room. I specifically requested a quiet room because I had read about this issue in another review. Upon arrival, I reminded them again, and they promised me the room would be quiet. Yet, in the evening after our excursion, we were greeted by booming bass and music filling the entire room! Even after that, the reception insisted it was a quiet room... Silence is important to me, so despite all the hotel's positives, I won't be staying here again.

Ibis Baku City

I had a very pleasant stay at ibis Baku City. The hotel offers exactly what I would expect from a good ibis hotel – clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a very convenient location. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a short stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was generally quiet. Housekeeping also did a good job. The location is one of the biggest advantages. Khatai metro station is just a short walk away, and the Caspian Boulevard is also within walking distance. Getting to the Old Town and other major sights is easy by metro or taxi. The breakfast was good, with a decent variety of both hot and cold food. The restaurant and bar were also convenient for a quick meal or drink. The staff were friendly, professional and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were quick and uncomplicated. The main downside is that the rooms are relatively small, which is typical for ibis, and the hotel does not offer the kind of luxury or extensive facilities you would find at a higher-end hotel. However, that is not really what this hotel is trying to be. Overall, ibis Baku City is a very good choice for a city trip or business stay in Baku. It is clean, comfortable, well located and offers good value for money. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Located just outside Baku's Old City at 6:00 AM, the hotel is very convenient for exploring and dining on foot. The Caspian Sea is just across the road from the hotel, and Baku's Old City is right behind it. It's a 10-minute walk to the pedestrian street. The front desk service was good, the breakfast was plentiful, and overall, the stay was quite pleasant.

This place is excellent honestly, especially for the guys in the reception. He help us to bring our luggage as the room in 2nd floor. At first I would like to recommended this place but then the bad thing happen when we had breakfast. The lady in the restaurant was so rude, the space is so small and can’t accommodate for all guests. So if you come late then no table available. You have to wait. Me and friends really angry to the lady in restaurant, im not sure whether she’s the owner or only a worker. But please tell the lady to be polite to the guests. I put my bread into the toaster and waiting on my table, when it’s ready this lady took my bread with her hands and brought it to my plate. I was shocked, she supposed to take it with thongs n put it on the plate then bring it to me. Or just let it be, i can take it by myself. I don’t like the way she treated us, no attitude at all ..if this lady isn’t available in this hotel then i would gv like thousands stars for the rating. She hide the food as well, we have to asked her for yogurt, eggs or some foods.. but she will bring it to people who looks like european, happy to served those kind of people. ******!!!! Please for asian especially southeast Asia never ever try to stay here if the rude lady still there, beside her all are perfect and im still kind to gv good star coz im not a rude woman. She will ruin this business tho

The hotel room is very big, the breakfast is OK, the management of the swimming pool is average, and it is a bit far from the scenic spots that I want to visit in the city. There are many Chinese tourists staying in the hotel. It depends on personal choice

Situated in the heart of Baku's Old City (Icherisheher), Old City Inn Hotel provides guests with immediate access to the city's rich history and vibrant culture <3 Landmarks such as the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, the Maiden Tower, and Fountains Square are just a short walk away. The room was clean with crisp, new bedsheets. The balcony offered stunning views of the Old City. It was a pleasure to see the Flame Towers at sunset and again at night from my balcony. Breakfasts on the 5th floor, surrounded by glass walls, came with an incredible view. Absolutely amazing and spacious! The hotel owner is truly kind and sincere. ✅ Pros Prime location in Baku's Old City Clean rooms with essential amenities Proximity to major attractions and public transport ⚠️ Cons No elevator, which may be inconvenient for some guests No safe in the room
