Hotels near Murifeld, Berne

I stayed one night here on my way from Paris to Interlaken. I booked it at the last minute, so I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be the best place to stay on my trip! First of all, everything was spotless, and there was nothing lacking. The room amenities were sufficient, and they even provided a water bottle, backpack, and umbrella for use during my stay. Breakfast was included free of charge, and there were about four kinds of cheese. It's close to Bern station, the area is safe, and all the reception staff were friendly and helpful, making for a very comfortable stay. If I ever come back to Bern, I will definitely choose this place again!

The Hotel is very nice. The staff is great and cool. Modern decoration everywhere, also in the rooms. All is well equipped. The only thing we didn’t like is the food, very limited and not too tasty (all is defrosted in microwave). Also the parking, is public and 30chf per day. The overall experience is very positive. There is no doubt that we will repeat in another moxy as they are all over the globe.

I had a wonderful stay at Youth Hostel Bern. Everything about this place was excellent. The location is perfect — very close to the main railway station, and buses and trams are easily available, which made traveling around the city super convenient. The hostel itself is very nice, neat, and clean. The rooms were comfortable, and the bedding was fresh, tidy, and well arranged. Bathrooms and toilets were extremely clean, which made the stay even more comfortable. The environment of the hostel is pleasant and welcoming. On top of that, the breakfast was superb with great options to start the day. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend Youth Hostel Bern to anyone visiting the city.

Location was great. The train station at your doorstep. Staff were helpful. I voiced my concern about heating and a light that was blinking and all concerns were addressed quickly. All in all, a great stay and staff were well trained and based on my conversations with them, they had been working there for a long time, hence the knowledge and level of service. One thing though, is that the lighting in the room could be improved; that would be really helpful for those coming on business trips and working on their laptops.

place are in center of bern. everything is nearby and walking distance , can save more pennies . you dont need an cab at all. railways is next, even beautiful viewpoint is just 10 mins walk. the clock tower just 5 mins walk. and so easy to check in. all is just on ur mobile phone apps. happy with my stay. with our spacious room. i dont have proper photos. since we have early check out. but is looks way more bigger than picture. can accomodate even 5 person in bed . it says double but i think both bed are queen size. 🤣🥰❤️ so comfy bed too.

One of the few hotels in the area that offers family rooms. However, its underground parking garage is incredibly narrow and terrifying; my Mercedes GLE almost got stuck in the roundabout when entering. The rims still sustained minor scratches. Thankfully, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting me out of the underground garage and allowing me to park in front of the hotel.

A great little find, right next to the train station and only 1 stop from the city. Fab amenities, modern and well maintained, however the check-in process was a nightmare. Extremely difficult to navigate. We booked through trip.com and received no prior comms from kook as what to do we arrived as it doesn't have a check-in/front desk. There were 4 other couples struggling to enter/check-in when we arrived, so it wasn't just us that found it extremely difficult. I also didn't like the idea of leaving a digital copy of my passport, where ID theft and cyber hacking is more common these days. Parking is extra and chargeable at CHF2.50 per hour but there is blue zone parking a short walk away. The lady/teception next door at Moxy was extremely helpful. Next time, I'd probably book Moxy instead!

Just one reminder for those who want to book this room as stated that they will provide ”2 king beds” in the room, that's totally not true, only 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed only and the front office told us that this hotel did not have any rooms with 2 beds actually, so just be careful and unfortunately, the room provides a open kitchen, yet the cooker is not working for tourists staying in the hotel, you will have a free ticket for the local bus, but please do ask the front office unless you may not get it (luckily we search online and find out this, so we go back to the front office and ask for it) Other than that, the location of this hotel is very convenient, just few mins from the station.

The hotel itself is cozy and clean. The staff is on site is only limited time, however there is housekeeping service. The kitchen in the room is very convenient and fully equipped. My main problem was the location. I didn't expect it was in a quite isolated zone. However there is a supermarket just 100 meters from the hotel. Also there is a nice park nearby.

Hotel is in an ideal location with a very short walk from a nearby train station. The Hotel has a lovely old feel to it but is very clean. The breakfast is continental style but with enough on offer. The reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful and positive about the City. The Hotel offers a pop up bar across the road. Very nice stay and the only complaint was soft pillows.
