Other staff members were thoughtful and attentive, responding promptly to any requests with detailed and heartwarming service. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding and well-functioning facilities, ensuring a quiet and relaxing stay. My stay at the Novotel Binjiang Hotel was fantastic! The location is excellent, making transportation very convenient. The hotel environment is clean and elegant, with a simple yet sophisticated lobby. The rooms are tidy and comfortable, with soft, skin-friendly bedding, complete and well-equipped facilities, and meticulous attention to hygiene. The staff are warm, attentive, and responsive, and the breakfast selection is plentiful. Overall, it offers great value for money, and the stay was excellent. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

I don’t understand how this hotel has such a high rating 😅 photos of rooms are misleading: look spacious but in reality… it’s like a box💀 I can touch the ceiling and I’m not even that tall! I am claustrophobic, so this room did make me feel like I was suffocating 🥵
walls are paper-thin: you can hear everything happening in the hallway and in the neighboring rooms. The most unpleasant part is the bathroom: whenever someone in the next room showers or flushes, I can hear the loud water noises through the pipes, which even wake me up at night.
My room has no windows, so after a shower all the steam just stays trapped inside. The air quickly becomes stuffy and uncomfortable.
The only positive thing I can mention is the location: it’s convenient, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
I initially booked for five nights but had to leave early because I genuinely felt suffocated staying here 😭😫

We were visiting Xianghu Lake, and while the hotel was a bit far, since we were driving, distance wasn't a primary concern. The key factors for us were the environment, facilities, and service, and this hotel perfectly met our expectations in those areas. Specifically: First, having been open for just over a year, the facilities were new, but the renovation smell had mostly dissipated. Second, it's located in the Binjiang district by the Qiantang River, with an excellent road network, making it convenient for driving around. Third, the service was warm and welcoming; we received a complimentary room upgrade during check-in. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, and the room layout was well-designed and comfortable. The self-service coffee machine at the front desk had multiple flavors, and the underground parking lot was spacious and very convenient. All in all, it was a satisfying stay.

An incredibly satisfying stay, my wife and son loved it too! We got a free upgrade to a business deluxe king room, which was a spacious 60 square meters, and also received a complimentary breakfast and a late-night snack.
The hotel is about 800-900 meters from the metro station, located within a commercial building. It was clean and tidy, and had a large bathtub that my son couldn't wait to use (the hotel provided plastic liners for hygiene). It was very quiet both during the day and at night, and the bed was soft and comfortable. After hiking Yu Huang Shan, we had a wonderful night's sleep.
Around 9 PM, we went for the late-night snack. They had chive and egg dumplings, spicy duck neck (very flavorful with a good kick!), and the clam and vermicelli dish was especially delicious – my son ate four portions! There were also clay pot dishes. We ate our fill and had a good night's sleep.
The breakfast selection was incredibly rich: noodles, mini wontons, xiaolongbao, various pastries, popcorn chicken, fried dough sticks, and other fried foods. There were also coarse grains like taro, pumpkin, and sweet potato, as well as cakes. They had four stir-fried green vegetable dishes, rice noodles, cold cucumber with duck gizzard, dried shredded tofu, and fruits like bananas and oranges. For drinks, there was milk, millet porridge, black rice porridge, and more. It was a nutritious and very satisfying meal.
The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. They were incredibly responsive to our requests; when we asked for an extra quilt, it was delivered immediately, and they even provided sanitary pads. The hotel also has self-service washing machines, dryers, and a gym... In short, I am absolutely delighted and highly recommend it. It's definitely great value for money. Next time I'm in Hangzhou, I'll choose Kaiyuan again!

I'm a frequent guest at Atour hotels, and this was my first time trying their S-series. As always, the hotel's environment was excellent, and the service was incredibly thoughtful. The front desk is located on the 38th floor, offering stunning views of the Qiantang River. Even the breakfast restaurant has river-facing seats.
The location is also incredibly convenient; both Hangzhou Station and Hangzhou East Station are directly accessible by subway. This time, I was on a tight schedule for a concert trip and didn't get a chance to visit Lingyin Temple or West Lake, but the Big Lotus (Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center) and Zhejiang Provincial Museum are also directly accessible without any transfers.

We booked a one-bedroom RV for the May Day holiday. The experience was alright, but the value for money during holidays is just too low. It would be worth it if it were only a few hundred yuan.
The RVs by the lake are quite pleasant, and each one has a table and chairs outside. The courtyard RVs also have them, which is great for friends traveling together.
The campsite organizes a few activities, like painting windmills and baking bread, suitable for kindergarten-aged children. There's also one small rabbit.
Breakfast options are limited: noodles, wontons, plain congee, coffee, and bread with jam (no butter). It's mediocre, just enough to fill you up. Those who are particular might find it a bit meager.
For dining, only the 299 BBQ set can be delivered to your RV door, and the portion didn't feel generous. Other dishes like seafood platters and army stew all incur a 10% service charge.
Overall, staying here for one night if it's under 500 yuan is fine, and sitting at the lakeside coffee bar nearby is decent. But the price is too high. For us, booking it at 2000 yuan for one night or 4000 yuan for two nights was a complete waste of money. [embarrassed]

My only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the pillow selection, perhaps adding memory foam pillows. The hotel isn't super close to attractions, but taxis are readily available right outside the entrance, making it very convenient. Plus, there's a huge variety of takeout options from the surrounding in77 mall – you'll be spoiled for choice!

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

The hotel is located only 3 bus stop away from Xihu (西湖）West lake，very good location not far from shopping street as well.
Cozy lobby with very friendly receptionist who even guide us to set up Alipay and how use Alipay to pay for the bus fare to West lake. Our room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall stay is a happy and welcoming. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to book this hotel if they are travelling to Hangzhou.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore.
The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition.
Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day.
Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit.
Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest.
Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority.
Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small.
Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable.
The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests
I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those.
Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

GGuest UserIt was 32 degrees Celsius, and as soon as I entered the room, the AC was blasting, and a faint, pleasant scent instantly made me feel at ease. The room size was perfect for one person. The balcony offered an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, which was fantastic. The room also had a screen door and a sofa. If it was too hot on the balcony, I could just sit on the sofa and enjoy the lake view – very thoughtful design! The body lotion smelled lovely. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt a bit damp, but that's common for rooms by the lake in this kind of weather. Still, it was clean; my skin is very sensitive, and unclean bedding usually makes me itchy, but I had no issues here. Breakfast was extensive, and eating while looking at the lake was wonderful. I'd definitely come back given the chance! The service was also excellent.

I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

It's within walking distance of the West Lake In77 area, making it super easy to explore shops, scenic spots, and delicious food – there's so much to see and do, you won't even be able to cover it all! We arrived at 11 AM, just hoping to drop off our luggage, but to our surprise, we were able to check in immediately, and even got a room upgrade. The panoramic West Lake terrace on the tenth floor was an unexpected delight! The breakfast spread was ample and tasty too. As for downsides, there weren't quite enough power outlets, so I'd recommend bringing an extension cord, haha. Also, the sink drains a bit slowly! But honestly, these are minor issues; we'll definitely choose Xinqiao again on our next visit!

After comparing several hotels on Ctrip, I feel that Hangzhou Radisson Longjing Manor is more suitable. The hotel is on the tea mountain of Longjing Village. There are tea gardens everywhere. Farmers can pick tea and make tea everywhere on the roadside. The environment is very good. The service of the hotel is very thoughtful. Xiao Chen at the front desk is proficient in business and can meet the requirements of customers as much as possible. We want a room with a better location, so he took us upstairs to choose a room and upgraded the room type for us for free; we stayed in the room and didn’t want to go out, and they gave us a lot of extra bottled water for us to make tea. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious, and each room can see the beautiful scenery outside the window. The linens are clean and comfortable, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The Longjing tea delivered in the room is very fresh and fragrant. Especially for breakfast, although there are not many dishes, the tastes of the several favorite ones are good. Jjacqueline0801The hotel rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are quite large. Each room has a balcony, and the rooftop garden offers views of West Lake, Baoshi Mountain, and the Baochu Pagoda. The breakfast is abundant and delicious. The location is excellent, very close to Bai Causeway, and the Wulin Night Market is right next door. The subway station is also nearby, making it convenient for getting around. Overall, it offers great value for money.

It was clean and hygienic, and there were no strange odors in my room, which made me feel the fresh air system was excellent and the air quality comfortable.
