The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. There are only four or five rooms on each floor, so it's relatively quiet. There's a curfew at night, which made me feel safe.
In terms of location, it's very close to the attractions, perfect for those who want to get an early start to sightseeing. It's about a 20-minute bus ride to Lingyin Temple and a 10-15 minute walk to West Lake. There's even a path to climb Baoshi Mountain right in the neighborhood. It's a bit further from the city center, about a kilometer from Huanglong Cave subway station.
As for service, any issues I had were promptly resolved by the front desk. They also prepared many small gifts; each room could receive a can of special small tea. The front desk staff even let me sample this year's newly picked Longjing tea, which tasted excellent!

West Lake Moon Stream Garden B&B, surrounded by lush greenery and charming alleys, feels like a hidden courtyard in the city. Waking up to birdsong instead of an alarm clock, and opening the window to the verdant botanical garden rather than cold skyscrapers, is truly refreshing.
The room was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful touches. Even the toiletries and small amenities made me feel well-cared for. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, offering to help with luggage and recommending routes, making it feel like I had a familiar friend in Hangzhou.
My favorite part was sitting in the garden in the morning, enjoying a cup of coffee. In those moments, travel ceased to be rushed and instead, gently slowed down.
If West Lake is the scenery, then staying here truly felt like 'living within the scenery'.

This hotel is perfectly situated right at the foot of Beigaofeng Mountain. It's an easy 7-8 minute walk to Lingyin Temple and only about 100 meters from the God of Wealth Temple cable car – the location is absolutely fantastic. Since Lingyin Temple became free, ride-hailing services and taxis aren't allowed into the scenic area during the day. Luckily, the hotel offers a shuttle service directly to the subway station on weekends and holidays, making getting around super convenient. I had a wonderful night's sleep and was able to enjoy breakfast before heading off to burn incense at the temple – it felt so relaxed and comfortable. I even saw a chubby, adorable little squirrel foraging in the hotel's tree outside – too cute!

This hotel is absolutely excellent! The service deserves full marks, and the decor is modern, cozy, and exquisite, with great attention to detail. The smart toilet was a big plus, and they even provide facial towels! The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful without being overly enthusiastic, which was a relief, and they offered complimentary bottled water to take with us. The location is superb, close to West Lake, Yue Fei Temple, and the Wusi Constitution Exhibition Hall. And the price is very reasonable too. Highly recommended!

The owner is incredibly nice! They called in advance to ask if I needed help carrying my luggage upstairs, and I said yes.
The guesthouse's location is excellent, right between West Lake Scenic Area and Lingyin Temple. They even offer a free electric scooter for guests. The only downside is that in winter, the scooter doesn't have handlebar muffs, so my hands were numb from the cold after riding it at night.
I really liked the outdoor lounging area for guests. There were even sunflower seeds, peanuts, almonds, and coffee on the table – quite a tasty selection!
The guesthouse slippers were surprisingly thick and comfy, but the toiletries were pretty standard. The toilet seat wasn't heated, which was a bit chilly 🥶. On the bright side, the air conditioning heated the room very well – nice, nice!

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional hard work and dedication demonstrated by the team at this hotel. The staff consistently exhibited warmth, friendliness, and a welcoming demeanor. The check-in attendant, in particular, was remarkably kind and helpful. Ms. Zhu's thoughtfulness was especially noteworthy; she assisted us in relocating rooms when the initial accommodation proved to be excessively noisy. We greatly valued her understanding and support. Furthermore, she graciously allowed us to store our luggage while we visited the temple, and upon our return, recognizing that we were exhausted, she offered us tea before our departure. As a foreign visitor to Hangzhou, I highly recommend this establishment and anticipate a future return! 谢谢

Stayed here again and I really love Fanyun. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and the front desk staff called to remind me to change them – really appreciate that! 🙏 The rooms are clean, the underfloor heating is comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water. They also proactively helped me with my luggage. This time, I brought my mom and they arranged for us to stay in the easternmost room of Building 3, which was very quiet and got amazing sunlight. The two chubby cats at the front desk, Chocolate and Zaizai, have gotten even bigger and are so cute! I'll definitely be back!

Really good hotel. Located in Mall building, occupied only some floors. Localisation is really great, very close to the Western Lake. Next to a lot of shops and restaurants, they are even in the same building (for example Haidilao on the same floor). Rooms - I have a bigger one with the city view, so it was very comfortable. There is a laundry room, mini gym and big patio with nice view (so no need to go downstairs to smoke). Breakfest - acceptable. The only one bad thing is terrible coffee on the breakfest.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast spread was fantastic and very satisfying. Our room was cozy and comfortable. My only minor suggestion would be to upgrade the pillow selection, perhaps adding memory foam pillows. The hotel isn't super close to attractions, but taxis are readily available right outside the entrance, making it very convenient. Plus, there's a huge variety of takeout options from the surrounding in77 mall – you'll be spoiled for choice!

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular.
The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite.
The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent.
Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

The hotel is located only 3 bus stop away from Xihu (西湖）West lake，very good location not far from shopping street as well.
Cozy lobby with very friendly receptionist who even guide us to set up Alipay and how use Alipay to pay for the bus fare to West lake. Our room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. The overall stay is a happy and welcoming. We will definitely recommend our family and friends to book this hotel if they are travelling to Hangzhou.

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved.
The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore.
The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition.
Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day.
Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit.
Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest.
Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority.
Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small.
Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable.
The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests
I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those.
Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

GGuest UserIt was 32 degrees Celsius, and as soon as I entered the room, the AC was blasting, and a faint, pleasant scent instantly made me feel at ease. The room size was perfect for one person. The balcony offered an unobstructed view of Qiandao Lake, which was fantastic. The room also had a screen door and a sofa. If it was too hot on the balcony, I could just sit on the sofa and enjoy the lake view – very thoughtful design! The body lotion smelled lovely. The only minor issue was that the duvet felt a bit damp, but that's common for rooms by the lake in this kind of weather. Still, it was clean; my skin is very sensitive, and unclean bedding usually makes me itchy, but I had no issues here. Breakfast was extensive, and eating while looking at the lake was wonderful. I'd definitely come back given the chance! The service was also excellent.

I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful.
It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station.
I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

It's within walking distance of the West Lake In77 area, making it super easy to explore shops, scenic spots, and delicious food – there's so much to see and do, you won't even be able to cover it all! We arrived at 11 AM, just hoping to drop off our luggage, but to our surprise, we were able to check in immediately, and even got a room upgrade. The panoramic West Lake terrace on the tenth floor was an unexpected delight! The breakfast spread was ample and tasty too. As for downsides, there weren't quite enough power outlets, so I'd recommend bringing an extension cord, haha. Also, the sink drains a bit slowly! But honestly, these are minor issues; we'll definitely choose Xinqiao again on our next visit!

After comparing several hotels on Ctrip, I feel that Hangzhou Radisson Longjing Manor is more suitable. The hotel is on the tea mountain of Longjing Village. There are tea gardens everywhere. Farmers can pick tea and make tea everywhere on the roadside. The environment is very good. The service of the hotel is very thoughtful. Xiao Chen at the front desk is proficient in business and can meet the requirements of customers as much as possible. We want a room with a better location, so he took us upstairs to choose a room and upgraded the room type for us for free; we stayed in the room and didn’t want to go out, and they gave us a lot of extra bottled water for us to make tea. The rooms in the hotel are very spacious, and each room can see the beautiful scenery outside the window. The linens are clean and comfortable, and all kinds of facilities are complete. The Longjing tea delivered in the room is very fresh and fragrant. Especially for breakfast, although there are not many dishes, the tastes of the several favorite ones are good. The chef’s fried eggs are in place, and the noodles are better than those in restaurants outside. I couldn’t help but eat three servings. I accidentally broke a glass, but she waived our compensation, which made me feel warm! Compared with other hotels in the same area, it may not be the best in the grade, and some hardware is also aging, but considering the environment, service, price and other aspects, if I come to Hangzhou Chashan to live again, I will choose Radisson Longjing Manor.
