The executive suite here is quite good, much more spacious than the hotels I've stayed at before, and the price is reasonable. It's right on the food street; for lunch, I just popped over to the Wengling Ginger Duck next door. Plus, it's pretty close to the Puppet Theater, Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guan Gong Temple. The walls on the ground floor and in the parking lot are also great for photos. It's a shame I was in a rush this time. I hope I get another chance to stay longer next time and properly experience the tea room and the hairpin making.

We stayed for two nights, and the location of Quanzhou Hotel is unbeatable! It's right in the heart of the ancient city. Not many hotels within the ancient city offer parking, but this one has ample parking spaces. There's also an electric scooter rental just a 1-minute walk away, which was fantastic. Every evening, we rode the scooters around the ancient city to find delicious food. The room felt especially cozy. We had the 'do not disturb' mode on, and the staff even called to ask if we wanted the room cleaned – such thoughtful service, the first time I've ever encountered that! I also received a birthday surprise from my boyfriend at Quanzhou Hotel, a truly unforgettable experience.

This hotel is great! It's located right on the edge of the old town, offering unbeatable city views. You get the convenience of parking, and it's not too far to walk to West Street or Kaiyuan Temple. The local 'mianxianhu' (vermicelli paste) downstairs is incredibly delicious – a must-try! Although the hotel breakfast is also very good; it's the first time I've seen AD milk (a popular Chinese children's yogurt drink) offered for breakfast, and I filled up a big cup. The ice cream at the front desk is a kid's favorite; they grab one every time they enter or leave, and it tastes like Mixue (a popular Chinese ice cream chain). Most importantly, the staff's service awareness is exceptionally high. It's my first time experiencing 5-star hotel service at a 3-star hotel. They gave us a fridge magnet, allowed us a late check-out until 3:30 PM, and even provided various travel guides. The gentleman who helped us was probably Dylan Han, if I remember correctly.

Surprisingly good! The hotel entrance is right on Dongjie Street, making it super convenient to walk to Xijie Street without having to jostle for taxis or wait. Directly opposite, there's a Michelin-starred prawn noodle shop, and on Dongjun Road nearby, you'll find two more Michelin-rated establishments. Just across the street on Dongjun Road, there's also delicious fried chicken and 'four fruit soup,' and a bit further down is Chengtian Temple. Being in the old city, you can easily hail one of those 'little white cars' (tuk-tuks/golf carts). Parking is also convenient right outside the entrance. The breakfast is more Chinese-style and quite tasty. The room was clean, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Overall, it's very convenient, excellent, and offers great value for money!

Service: The hotel customer service contacted me in advance, sending pictures with the easiest walking route and parking instructions. They even offered some local tips and guides upon request. The cleaning lady also left laundry detergent when tidying up, which was a thoughtful touch. Facilities: The hotel has a great aesthetic, and there's a viewing platform on the roof. The toothbrushes, tissues, and slippers provided are all high quality. For guests who are light sleepers, earplugs are available, really showing their attention to detail. The only slight inconvenience was handling luggage on the upper floors. While they do offer to help carry bags up, I ended up carrying them down myself to avoid bothering anyone. This is a common issue with guesthouses, but apart from that, there's really nothing to complain about.

This is completely no disadvantage, room 202, great, 1.8 rice bed is super soft, I like dark sheets, and then two large windows, open the sun during the day, downstairs is Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, close to a middle school There are many delicious foods, recommend the Chunmei Shaxian snacks downstairs, This is an important landmark! The room is also large, clean and clean. The toiletries are ready on the first day. After that, you can pick them up if you need them. There is a cabinet for disposable items. The hotel rarely provides disposable bath towels and toilet pads. It is very intimate. I am not satisfied with a little bit. The projection screen is very small. It’s a pity that the photo was not taken. I turned it over and there was this photo of milk tea. There are windows behind this curtain, and there is also such a big window on the left hand side. This is the best homestay I have ever stayed in at this price. I wrote a lot of hard to express my love for this store, I hope my comments will let more people choose this homestay

Everything was excellent. I was so lucky to book this place on my first day in the city, but unfortunately, I couldn't extend my stay for the second night. Although it's newly opened and fully booked, there was no chaos, everything was well-organized. The bedding was great, especially the pillows; I slept wonderfully. The breakfast was good, abundant, and delicious, and the dining area was spacious and bright. The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite. The lobby was impressive, with a well-arranged and efficient book bar and computer area. Even the souvenir was lovely and came in handy during my trip. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

This guesthouse boasts an excellent location, right within the West Street of the ancient city. The 3rd-floor rooftop offers fantastic views for photographing the Kaiyuan Temple twin pagodas, easily rivalling popular cafes. I personally witnessed the bedding being changed after each guest, so hygiene is definitely assured. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming. Given the low price, it's incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

Traveling solo, I chose this chain hotel because it's closest to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street. The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic, even offering authentic Fuzhou oyster vermicelli. I originally booked a queen room for one night but decided to extend my stay for two more days. Since there were no queen rooms available, the front desk attendant upgraded me to a room with two single beds. It's just a few steps to Kaiyuan Temple and West Street, and right outside, you can flag down one of those charming little electric cars for a 2-yuan ride around the old city. There are all sorts of delicious restaurants and snacks nearby. I've already decided: next time I bring my family, we're definitely staying here again!

GGuest UserThe service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel. Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience. If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

GGuest UserI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

TTheGigiLoving the vibes of this hotel! Clean, comfortable, helpful ground staff, especially friendly customer support through WeChat - Xiao Yang, conveniently located, nice local breakfast provided in the hotel. It’s not located on the Main Street but it’s only a few min walk, which also means less noise at night and early in the morning. I’ll definitely be back again if I ever visit Quanzhou again! Thanks for hosting us!

FflubberGrand Honor Hotel is definitely the best hotel in Shishi, but it’s not quite the same level as a luxury hotel in a bigger city. Generally the hotel is clean, but it’s the little things that I noticed, ie when I checked in, there were some sweet wrappers next to the bowl of sweets that weren’t cleared away. That said, the sense of space is evident in the hotel lobby, lifts, corridors and most importantly, the hotel rooms. Rooms are very spacious and well-designed, although the closet area can definitely do with brighter lights. Most amenities are provided but what put me off is that many items that would have been free in other hotels at this price-range aren’t free at Grand Honor. There is a Chinese tea set on the table and usually the loose leaf tea is provided for free but it cost ¥15 per packet. Honestly it’s not a lot of money for us, but on the flip side, surely the hotel can provide a bag of tea leaves for their guests. There are the standard free single-use packet tea in the drawer so at least there’s that. In-room slippers are not to be taken out; they’d charge you if you do - and that’s fine, but the slippers are actually really uncomfortable to wear. The small plate of fruits (banana, plum and mandarin) given at 5pm every day is a nice touch. The hotel breakfast is probably the highlight. Set on the 22nd floor with panoramic views of the city, breakfast is very enjoyable. The food quality is pretty good, but a real surprise here is the sheer diversity of food. The bread selection alone has 5-6 choices (pastries, brioche, baguette, square toast, etc), the cooked food section is almost endless (and there’s cooked Chinese vegetables! 👏🏾) and then there’s the fruit selection at the end too. My only gripe is that the coffee machine is a bit slow, and there’s only one machine so there can be a wait for coffee. Location of the hotel is a little odd; good restaurants and the main mall is about 15 mins’ walk away. There aren’t many good shops to wander around nearby. Generally, this is a solid hotel for this price point. Excellent service with very fast food delivery (using the ubiquitous delivery robots) and friendly front desk staff.

Llaipeng123Half the joy of this short trip came from this hotel! Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!

AAnonymous UserTime flies when you're having fun, and my trip to this thousand-year-old Quanzhou city has come to an end. What I'll remember most is choosing 2208 Inn, which boasts a fantastic location on the busiest street in Quanzhou's city center. The West Gate of the famous Kaiyuan Temple is just across the road from the inn. From my room at the inn, I could open the window and gaze at the beautiful night silhouette of Quanxi Hall on West Street. I could also hear the bustling crowds of West Street from outside my window. Day or night, the ancient city's streets are lined with a dazzling array of local snacks and delicacies – think Mianxian paste, Ginger Duck, Fujianese crispy pork, with famous eateries right next door. If you want a taste, just head downstairs; they're just a few steps away. Xunpu flower-wearing shops are also everywhere. If you want to try wearing the flowers, just go downstairs, and you can instantly transform into a beautiful flower-wearing girl. What brought me the most joy was the genuine conversations I had with the inn staff every time I returned. The front desk's handsome and dedicated customer service representative, the proprietress's beautiful smile, and the cleaning auntie's meticulousness and hard work all exemplify the inn's warm and thoughtful hospitality. Thank you all for giving me such wonderful memories of the ancient city. It makes me recall: in this thousand-year-old city, in this little alley corner, I unexpectedly encountered your vibrant, almost divine, warmth and vitality. It makes me miss the moment the pigeons flew past the Twin Pagodas of Kaiyuan Temple in the morning, the fragrant misty aroma of Tieguanyin tea in an old teahouse in the afternoon, and the golden glow of the sunset over Jinjiang River. Encounters are always brief! I've already made a promise with you – if I ever come to Quanzhou again, I will undoubtedly choose 2208 Inn without hesitation. As the year draws to a close and a new one begins, I wish the inn even greater prosperity and a booming year ahead!

GGuest UserDue to an early morning flight for a business trip, I specifically booked this hotel right next to the airport. It turned out to be a very wise choice; it's just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to the terminal, so I didn't have to worry about traffic causing me to miss my flight. Check-in and check-out were quick, saving me from long queues. The room had great lighting, a spacious desk, and plenty of power outlets, which was super convenient for getting some work done. The Wi-Fi was also very fast, with no lag at all during video conferences. Considering it's an airport hotel, the value for money is really high. This will definitely be my go-to choice for future layovers or early morning flights.

This homestay can grab Didi anytime. The shop Opposite hotel is 老字号马蹄酥&黄衍明口腔科 as later i will put picture for ur reference. Then u follow the signboard go in the alley then can find the homestay. The owner of this homestay is super helpful and friendly. As my luggage damage in airport, owner help me to get a new luggage online and get it just within a day. The homestay even provide us disposable towel ,face towel , tooth brush and tooth paste everyday. And no need worry about shampoo and body shampoo too. Hassle free and can bring less item if u stay in this homestay. The hotel location is great to grab breakfast and supper too. Some within walking distance restaurant I will put in photo. And 小白车u can take from this homestay to many travel attraction just rmb 2. All in all, this homestay is good value for money and i would like say thank you to the owner of this homestay for the pleasant stay during my trip. Definitely we will come back again Quanzhou just want stay in Lanxin courtyard only.
