The location is right on Shantang Street, and it's not far from the Ximins Farmers Market and the subway station next door, about a five-minute walk, so getting around is very convenient. Facilities: Standard guesthouse facilities, and overall they look quite new. It was pretty cold when I visited, but the room's air conditioning worked well, so I didn't feel like the temperature wasn't reaching the right level. Hygiene: I ran my hand over several surfaces and didn't feel any dust. There were no obvious stains in the room either, so it was relatively clean. Environment: The guesthouse clearly separates public areas from guest-only areas. General visitors can only access the lobby, and the accommodation sections require a key card to enter and are separated by frosted glass doors, so privacy is not an issue. There's also a lounge area on the first floor with a double-height ceiling and some greenery, and the sunlight coming in makes it very comfortable. You can relax here if you don't want to stay in your room. Service: All the staff members were very polite. They greeted me when I came in and out, helped with key cards, and had a great attitude. They were always available, and actively helped resolve any small issues. Although it's in a tourist area, there's a short path separating the accommodation from the main street, so I wasn't disturbed by the noise of tourists outside. The key card access to the accommodation area also prevents guests from feeling like they are part of a spectacle, which I appreciate. The soundproofing was relatively poor; I could hear my neighbor showering 😂. However, I'm a good sleeper, and the other guests weren't making much noise, so overall it didn't affect my rest. If you're looking for a place to stay in the Shantang Street area, I highly recommend it.

First off, the location is excellent. You can easily get there from Metro Line 2, Shilu Station, Exit 12. Just go straight, then turn right, and you'll see a mochi vendor at the entrance. Take the elevator up to the 7th floor for check-in. The hotel itself can be a little tricky to find, though. The shopping mall right behind the subway exit is MixC World, which is super close. Shantang Street and Guanqian Street are also nearby, which is very convenient for tourists. If you take a taxi, it's only about a ten-minute ride. Overall, the hotel environment is pretty good. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the sanitation is generally clean. The room is very soundproof, but it does feel a bit stuffy since there's no window. I'm not sure if I didn't use the TV correctly or what, but when I tried to cast, it would inexplicably jump to other videos after a while 🤔. If you like this Japanese-style aesthetic, it's worth a stay.
