Hotels near Shipai Metro Station, Taipei

"Located next to Rongguang Park opposite Shipai Guozhong, the hotel in the alley is very close to the Shipai MRT station. There is also a Shipai night market business district nearby at night for food. The counter service lady is kind and will guide the elevator to the door of the room. The room is still spacious, there is a balcony, there is a washing machine and drying rack on the balcony, but because it is only one night, it is not used. The fly in the ointment is that the bed is hard and the air-conditioning is noisy."

"10/10. Truly just the most amazing stay of our entire month long trip. Hotel staff carry you in their hands, aiming to please. Room is clean, spacious even for a 6’8” man with AMAZING bed and shower. Water pressure is incredible and the bathroom design beautiful. Breakfast is delicious with a great selection of healthy food, eastern and western options. Conveniently located a 5 min walk from the bus station and able to go anywhere. Would definitely be coming back! Was sent off with a personalised card from staff that just brings the whole wholesome experience together. Thanks guys for a wonderful stay!"

"The location was extremely good cos it near the mrt, surrounding with good food. But the only problem is that it not soundproof, can hear people talking on the corridor, and my room air-con produce a foul smell, like someone with BO stay before me and I had to use the fragrance stick provide by the room to put on top of the air-con to reduce the stinks. I thought i was booking a hotel but it was not(it was my fault for not really checking out), had abit of trouble trying to get into the building cos it need code to access."

"The room was nice, and the water pressure was great, making for a comfortable shower. The surrounding area is relatively quiet, and it's right next to an MRT station, which makes getting around very convenient. The only downside is that there aren't many food options nearby."

"Not too far from Xinbeitou station, around 12 minutes walk. Close to a lot of attractions like the Beitou Thermal Valley and Hot Spring Museum. There is a 711 near Xinbeitou station. There are a few food stalls near the thermal valley. In the hotel, there are some snacks and drinks. Unfortunately, on the day I was there the lemon tea/juice dispenser was broken. There are bottled water inside the room. The room I booked was quite small but ok for me because it was just me. Might be small for two people but can work."

"The hotel is new and clean, but the only downside was that our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:30 PM."

"Clean and hygienic, with relatively new decor. High level of safety. Very convenient for visiting Yangmingshan. While the location isn't superb, the surrounding area is quiet. There's a direct bus to the city center, which is great! 👍"

"I have a special soft spot for this place! I've visited five times within a year, and each time there's been a small improvement. This time, the tall, slender, handsome guy at reception told me we could use the public hot spring twice a day, and I finally got to try the mango pudding and milk jelly I'd only ever seen before! That really changed my mind for the better. And for breakfast, they even had a fresh-ground coffee machine – that was a pleasant surprise! However, this was probably the smallest room I've stayed in during all my visits. But there's a good chance I'll be back for a sixth time this year..."

"First time trying out this hotel. Location is fantastic- right opposite Jian Tan Mrt station (red line), 10 mins walking to Shilin night market, Carrefour, Poya. Room is clean, toilet is rather huge with bathtub and shower area, with a view. Not too sure whether the window is tinted from the outside.. but there are blinds. I do love the toilet seat.. has seat warmer, bidet. Mini bar is complimentary 😀"

"We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel. If possible, I highly recommend booking a window-side room in the main building. The view is amazing—you can watch planes taking off and landing at Songshan Airport while also enjoying a beautiful view of Taipei 101. It was a unique and memorable experience, especially during the evening. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the combination of the historic architecture and the stunning city view made our stay even more enjoyable."
