"The hotel is a bit run down and on a narrow, dusty street, but members of the staff are so friendly and very polite. They granted my request to change room and when I returned from a tour, they let me stay in my requested room. Complimentary airport pick up and drop off is a nice additional service. Very close to the cathedral and traditional Ethiopian restaurant. Worth the money. 👍🏼"

"It’s been a great stay at Jano Hotel. Big shout to Michael he has been super helpful since we arrived. I would highly recommend him to be a manager. He was very welcoming and always ready to help. He is just a genuine great human being, big shout out to the girls at the front desk too. They were great. now for the hotel. The hotel was very conveniently located next to the new stadium. It’s easy to get around. There’s a lot of construction going on, but it will be done by the time we come back hopefully."

"I have been to Addis Ababa several times and I always like to stay in this hotel. The decoration and materials of the hotel are imported from China, and they are also of Chinese quality. I have high requirements for hygiene. Whether it is the lobby or the room, it is very hygienic and I am very satisfied. Whether it is the service staff or the boss of the hotel, they are very polite and enthusiastic. The price of the restaurant is also very reasonable. If the Chinese stomach is not particularly picky, whether it is pasta or fried rice, the taste is not bad. Although the breakfast is simpler, for me, eggs, fresh juice, and carbohydrates are enough. The only drawback is that the road at the door is not very flat and the quality of toilet paper is very average, but I got used to it after watching it in Ethiopia. The airport is free of charge."

"We stayed in the DoubleTree Hilton Addis Ababa as part of a two-day layover. A hotel shuttle bus transferred us from the airport, which took around five minutes, so very convenient. (We were expecting a hotel rep to greet us at the arrivals hall, but you need to exit the airport, go to the car park and find the bus.) The hotel is in a brightly-lit location; it's nice, clean and modern. The service is excellent: we received a warm reception and checked in swiftly - important if you're arriving late at night. The service at breakfast and elsewhere was equally excellent. Thank you! Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed but we ordered room service, which was OK. The room facilities are very good: comfy bed/pillows and a good selection of amenities. The biggest issue is the shower: there was no hot water, so we had to ring for help. Someone came quickly, but it wasn't ideal especially as it was very late. The same thing happened throughout the rest of the stay. Also, the water from the shower overflowed onto the floor and, unless stopped with a towel, continued through into the room. Given that this is a 4/5-star hotel, this isn't acceptable. If the DoubleTree could resolve this, it would be the hotel of choice."

The room was cleaned every day, and the sheets were changed regularly. The location is very convenient, close to the airport and other places around the city. I was also picked up from the airport, which made my arrival very easy. The hotel is quiet and not crowded, and the price is very good compared to other hotels. I would definitely love to stay here again on my next visit. The wifi is ok but could be better"
