"This hotel has great style! From the interior design to the cocktails, everything was excellent. Although breakfast isn't a buffet, there are plenty of options, very local and English. The hotel even has a basement that served as a shelter during WWII and has now been converted into a spa – very cool, definitely worth checking out. The hotel pantry also offers complimentary snacks, fruits, and drinks. It's truly good, and the location is fantastic. The record player and vinyl records in the room are a wonderful touch."
"Perfect location for a sightseeing trip to York, with car parking. The hotel was gorgeous, beautiful room (we had blenheim suite), huge copper bath in the bedroom (bring your own bubble bath!), super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room. Reception staff lovely and very knowledgeable of local area. Lovely bar too with friendly staff, a range of boardgames available which was fun. Breakfast room had a great Churchill theme ( brilliant top/bowler hat lighting). Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a really lovely stay."
"The location is fantastic! Our room had a view of the church, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the cathedral. It's even more convenient if you're traveling by train, as the station is only a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast is a Western-style quick meal, with a limited selection. I really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms, and the cereal bowls were delicious too.
The room and bathroom were a bit small, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and slippers."
"I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton York for a short visit and, while the location was reasonably convenient, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a Hilton-branded hotel.
I was upgraded to a room located across the car park from the main building, accessed via stairs and without central heating. Instead, the room relied on standing portable heaters, which wasn’t ideal — especially given the wet weather and the need to walk outside to reach the room. The room itself felt quite tired and dated, with noticeably creaky floorboards both inside the room and from neighbouring rooms, which made it hard to fully relax.
The location is decent enough, but if you’re travelling by public transport there are better areas of York to stay in that offer easier access and a nicer overall setting.
I didn’t try the breakfast, as there are plenty of good local options nearby, which I enjoyed instead, so I don’t feel I missed out. One small disappointment was that coffee wasn’t available outside of breakfast hours.
Overall, with so many good accommodation options in York, I’m not likely to stay here again."
"It was a very good experience staying in the Vikings. I would definitely go stay again next time I visit to York. It took us 15 minutes walk to the city centre and there is also some cafe and shops nearby."
"I have had breakfast at countless hotels, but none of them are as good as this one. The variety of dishes prepared by the very friendly chef is comparable to those of first-class restaurants. The breakfast alone is worth the hotel fee. Thank you to the hotel for giving me the best experience. I will definitely come back next time."

"This hotel is located by the Ussuri River, which makes it relatively quiet. It's about an 18-minute walk from the train station. We stayed in a family room which came with a kitchen and dining table, which was quite good overall. The old town is just a 10-minute walk across the bridge. All in all, it was a pleasant stay."
"The hotel's location is quite convenient. After exiting York station, you just walk around the city walls, and you'll be there in about ten minutes. The room generally felt quite new and very quiet, making for a comfortable stay. York isn't very big to begin with, so all the main attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was definitely enough to fill you up. 👍"

Amazing
GGuest UserVery elegant old-style villa, the breakfast is very rich and delicious, the stay is also very comfortable, and the cost performance is super high! York is very quiet, and the people I met along the way are very friendly. I couldn't swipe my card in the public toilet on Butcher Street, but a local brother saw that I swiped his card and let me in. Thank you for being such a good person! This time I traveled by myself, my English was terrible, but the experience was actually quite good, haha, I recommend everyone to stay and play~
AAnonymous UserThe room itself was great, and we even got complimentary drinks and snacks. However, the location is a bit out of the way, quite a distance from the train station and far from the shops in the city center.
GGuest UserLocated within a golf course, the hotel boasts a tranquil, peaceful, and comfortable environment with beautiful scenery. However, it's quite far from the city center, about a 30-minute drive from York's Old Town. If you're not traveling by car, it's not the best choice for accommodation. But if you have a car, it's an excellent option as parking is free.
The hotel has two restaurants with good food, but they are very expensive and the portions are small – typical fine dining. If you don't want to spend too much on food, it's best to eat in the city before entering the hotel.
GGuest UserReally lovely staff, bedding could do with an upgrade, but honestly, a good stay. The staff really make up for any shortcomings the hotel may have.
YYeziA small villa, the room is clean and tidy, very warm and quiet, the service is very good and warm, we live on the 3rd floor, there is no elevator, the suitcase is the store to help get the room, parking is also convenient. The environment of Zhou is good, and it is convenient to travel. It takes 20 minutes to walk along the river to see the tourist attractions in the downtown area. Only breakfast is very expensive. Two nights a day is a pleasant experience.
GGuest UserThe hotel is located right by the River Ouse, which is perfect for an evening stroll. It's also not too far from the station and was easy to find. Clifford's Tower is nearby, and all the main tourist attractions are within easy reach. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. There's also an elevator, which made it easy to move our luggage. I booked this room last minute, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The English breakfast had everything you'd expect, and I was very satisfied with it.
GGuest UserHad a fantastic weekend in York with old friends from afar.. the Radisson York is well located for a great trek around the City .. restaurants and great pubs are all well within comfortable walking distance.
The hotel as a great bar for the last nightcap the buffet breakfast is brilliant .The hotel is located on the river with great views of some of the night life and during the day just to relax..

CChin Lian LeePerfect stay! Room is very spacious and very clean. Beds and pillows are comfortable. The location is very strategic as well. Walkable to tourist spots and eatries. The buffer breakfast is beyond expectations! We enjoyed our breakfast. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserFound walnuts under the mattress near the edge, glad I don’t have a nut allergy or a family staying in that room with a toddler who has allergies. Could’ve ended up pretty serious if a small child had eaten a nut.
GGuest UserI've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room.
The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite.
5 stars from me!
