"Not what you expect from a Hilton hotel. Small rooms in separate buildings. We were put into a tiny room with no Aircon as it was broken, the wall lights didn’t work and the toilet wouldn’t flush. After a trip to the reception we were moved but it’s not a hotel we will return to."

"The location is fantastic! Our room had a view of the church, and it's just a 10-minute walk to the cathedral. It's even more convenient if you're traveling by train, as the station is only a 3-minute walk away. The breakfast is a Western-style quick meal, with a limited selection. I really enjoyed the grilled mushrooms, and the cereal bowls were delicious too. The room and bathroom were a bit small, and you'll need to bring your own toothbrush and slippers."

"The hotel is located right by the River Ouse, which is perfect for an evening stroll. It's also not too far from the station and was easy to find. Clifford's Tower is nearby, and all the main tourist attractions are within easy reach. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean and spacious. There's also an elevator, which made it easy to move our luggage. I booked this room last minute, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The English breakfast had everything you'd expect, and I was very satisfied with it."

"This hotel is located by the Ussuri River, which makes it relatively quiet. It's about an 18-minute walk from the train station. We stayed in a family room which came with a kitchen and dining table, which was quite good overall. The old town is just a 10-minute walk across the bridge. All in all, it was a pleasant stay."

"Had a fantastic weekend in York with old friends from afar.. the Radisson York is well located for a great trek around the City .. restaurants and great pubs are all well within comfortable walking distance. The hotel as a great bar for the last nightcap the buffet breakfast is brilliant .The hotel is located on the river with great views of some of the night life and during the day just to relax.. My next time in York will be with the Radisson..and it also offers good parking which is very secure albiet it does come on first come basis.. but overall this hotel is excellant.. thankyou Radisson. "A solid hotel, comparable to Hampton Inn hotels back home. There are two Hampton Inns in York, so when driving, it's best to enter the postcode for navigation. Don't just type the brand name. If you use the hotel name, make sure to add the location. We went to the wrong one initially and had to drive for another 5 minutes to get to the correct one. The hotel's location is excellent. About 100 meters to the left when you exit, there's a Tesco Express, which is very affordable. On the ground floor outside the hotel, there's a surprisingly open, semi-enclosed glass baggage lift that can take large luggage up to the lobby. The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom has the standard Hampton Inn setup. The room is functional, similar to its counterparts in China, though it lacks the complimentary self-service laundry facilities typically found in equivalent hotels there. Breakfast is a self-service buffet included in the room rate. It's a British-style buffet with eggs, sausages, ham, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, various breads, toaster breads, four types of stewed fruit, fresh apples. On weekends, bananas are also available. There's coffee, fresh milk, yogurt, nuts, cereals, and portable packaged fiber biscuits. My friends were very happy with the food."

"This hotel has great style! From the interior design to the cocktails, everything was excellent. Although breakfast isn't a buffet, there are plenty of options, very local and English. The hotel even has a basement that served as a shelter during WWII and has now been converted into a spa – very cool, definitely worth checking out. The hotel pantry also offers complimentary snacks, fruits, and drinks. It's truly good, and the location is fantastic. The record player and vinyl records in the room are a wonderful touch."

"The room was very clean and cozy, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly. What really stood out was the breakfast – so fresh! It was my first time making crepes, and I did it right here at the hotel's breakfast buffet! The walk to the station is just ten minutes, super smooth and convenient."

"No toothpaste, toothbrush, hair dryer. Wifi is only free for 30 min/day and you have to pay or wait until the exact time next day to have wifi available again (imagine you logged in for wifi at 11pm, have it for only 30 minutes, then can only have the next wifi service 11pm the next day but guess what, you check out at 11am already so there's no use! I've never seen a hotel offer just 30min of free wifi, even hostels). 5G mobile data cannot work in the room, so it's very annoying with such terrible wifi service. Tea spoons are dirty, got black old tea/coffee mark on it (which can be clean if you just wash them 1 minute with water at the sink, but it seems the staff didn't even bother to clean them even just for 1 minute rinsing under water). Overall my first time with this hotel brand and I'm so disappointed!"

"Had a really enjoyable stay here. The rooms are very modern and clean. The service was outstanding. I was welcomed in by Dean the receptionist who was so helpful and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend if you’re visiting York."
