Amazing
PPcomI had a very satisfying stay! I was in Manchester for an international academic conference. The conference organizers arranged a Leonardo Hotel, and the price was similar to the Wilde Aparthotels I booked myself, but I think Wilde definitely wins out. I booked a suite, which is quite large by UK standards. It was on the 20th floor, the highest in the hotel, with excellent views of Manchester's CBD buildings – really nice! It rained all week, so I mostly stayed nearby, but the hotel's location is super convenient, with many restaurants downstairs like Pret a Manger and a good Korean restaurant. It's also very close to the University of Manchester, where I tried the famous British fish and chips. This experience was so good that I even chose the Wilde Aparthotels brand for my trip to Cambridge next week.

GGuest UserStaycity is great, although they duplicate charged me which I have already paid thought agent earlier. Agent helped me to contact Staycity and they corrected it immediately. When I arrived Staycity, they knew and told me the money would be refunded to my credit card shortly. Staycity is my second time to stay, it is convenient, clean, kitchen, bathroom, bedding….. room size, everything is great. I absolutely will recommend my friends to stay here when they visit Manchester.

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We were a little disappointed, however, that we were unable to have a drink at the bar (even though there were lots of seats available) without pre-booking. Maybe guests should be informed of this when booking. Otherwise, we had a good time.

Ttraveller2002Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester – everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – we had some of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious – a real treat after a long day exploring the city. Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If you’re in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. We’ll absolutely be back!

CChiyudejiaoziThe room was tiny, only big enough for two beds. However, it was very clean and just a 6-minute walk from Manchester Airport, plus it was easy to find by following the signs. Ibis and Holiday Inn are actually right next to each other, door to door. Most people just stay a night before an early flight, so it perfectly meets basic needs. I arrived at the hotel at 11 PM and left for the airport at 5 AM the next morning. It was affordable, highly recommend!

GGuest UserThis hotel was a positive surprise to me. I did not expect more than a bed to sleep close to the center of Manchester for the price I paid for the stay and they offered so much more with the friendliness and professionalism  of the frontdesk service staff, the varied breakfast and comfortable bed. The hotel is however a bit outdated and I missed a usb plug in the room for charging mobile as I am a European traveller and the plug is different. Luckily front desk helped me with an adapter for the night. I also had a small lunch at the Garden restaurant and whether you go there for a drink or food you will find nice staff and you can taste the freshness of the products used. All in all, great value for money.

TTheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

Ccharleston1The hotel was amazing! The service was fab, all the staff were so lovely and really helpful. The room was great and had everything you could need, and I loved the fact that all the toiletries are plant based! The location was also amazing, just round the corner from the nightlife if you wanted it (but completely silent from inside your room). It's very central so really easy access to anything you could want really. Would definitely stay there again and already recommended it to some friends.

GGuest UserOverall, it was a good experience. Ideally situated for JetPark Ringway, but getting to the upper level of the hotel car park isn't clearly signed, and parking spaces are tight.
