Hotels near Split Archaeological Museum, Split

We needed to stay one night in Split to catch a flight the next day, and we booked the Plaza Marchi. However, because it was so cold on that night, there was an issue with the pipes freezing and there being no hot water. We were contacted immediately and asked if we would want to stay at their other property nearby, in a better room with no extra charge. We were happy to do so. Someone from the hotel met us at the place we designated, so that we would be able to find it easily. She happily took us to the hotel and showed us to our wonderful room with a glorious view of the harbor and riva. We loved the decor of the hotel, the comfort of the bed, how clean it was, and how quiet, considering the central location. We would definitely stay at either of their hotels again, and highly recommend them!

There was no staff at the apartment when we arrived and no one contacted us beforehand about how to check in. We called several times before someone answered. In addition, the hotel's location and sanitary environment are good

Great location: 10 minutes walk to city centre Service: Great to have space to keep my luggage after checked out. Great help to book airport transfer at very good price! Small things to improve: one blind couldn’t drop down. Shower was broken. Better to add hook for bath towels. Towels need to be replaced.

There was no hot water... This was quite dangerous for my health in the winter (;;) I requested to share a room with a woman, but since it was just a request, it was not granted... However, the hotel staff were very kind (^ ^) The location is very hard to find!!!

The room was stunning and very clean. We were fortunate to have the room with a south facing balcony, which was a heat trap. It is situated in a very central area with lots of shops, bars, and restaurants near by. The things which let the room down was the bang average speed WiFi, that once several folk throughout the hotel were on went pretty slow, which is sometimes the case. The TV brand is Grundig, which I never heard of and is not got any smart settings. There is an option to project your phone/ipad to it. The only issue is if the Internet is slow then it sometimes won't recognise... Get new TVs! Communication could be improved, the gentlemen who checked us in said to contact him with any queries, I did so and had no reply. They could do with a system to drop off used towels and collect new clean towels from the reception area of the hotel. Hopefully this constructive feedback will be acted on as it is minors things as mentioned above that are lowering the overall experience for fellow guests.

This is the best hostel I’ve stayed at in Croatia! There’s plenty of space to unpack, and it’s close to the Old City. My luggage was quite heavy, and when I asked, they kindly moved me from a third-floor room to a first-floor one. I didn’t know breakfast was included, but they even provide a simple one. It really feels like they understand and care for solo travelers. The hostel was so nice that I decided to stay an extra night — thanks to you, I had a great rest!

The Hotel is nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. I enjoyed the homey atmosphere. However, there are a few things one should be aware of before booking: The hotel is in the historic district just about 5 min walk west from the Prominade area. Taxis cannot drive in, so it is necessary to walk in with one's baggage. Also, any excursions will start with a walk out of the area to the main taxi stand. Navigating the area can be a challenge the first couple of times; one MUST have the ability to use their maps app. T-mobile - America has an international plan that give you up to 2G speed unlimited data and texting, but I highly recommend getting a local sim card. Look at the map of the city before choosing this hotel. There are a lot of nice restaurants within 2-5 minutes walking. Furthermore, the office closes from 11pm till 7am. Most importantly, they DO NOT take credit cards. IF you did not pay for the room online, you will need local cash, and you will need it to pay the taxes on the room, and for a taxi if you booked it through the hotel. Cash only. (They do have a zelle option, but I could not get it to work. I recommend cash. Speaking of cash, one should get it from an actual bank ATM as the rates 11% vs the 22-25% some private ATMs charge.) I give the hotel 4 of 5 for comfort, 5/5 for cleanliness, 3 or 5 for location. I'd give this hotel

The accommodation is very conveniently located. Many major attractions are within walking distance, allowing you to easily return throughout the day for a quick rest. The place is clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the essentials you might need. A great stay overall!

The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of Building 2, and the door of the shop is not very easy to find. The interior of the hotel is white and clean. It is very close to Diocletian Palace and the sea.

I recently stayed at Hotel Corner in Split and overall had an amazing experience. The hotel is located just a short walk from the Old Town and Diocletian’s Palace, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful too.
