"I am visiting Jakarta with my family to watch F4 concert. the reason why we choose this hotel is due to the location. It is around 20min walk from the concert arena to the hotel. Since we know that the traffic after the concert will be super long. The staffs are very friendly and room is spacious. The only thing I would like to call out is that the shower gel and shampoo are not easily dispenseable. It is so hard to get it out and I end up using shampoo as shower gel. I thought this is only happening in my room but another room face the same as well. Hopefully the issue will be fixed."

"I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, the experience was underwhelming — starting with the motorcycle parking area, the hotel lobby, and the exterior of the building, all of which appeared poorly maintained. The room itself was below expectations: only one pair of slippers was provided, the bathroom was neglected and dirty, with visible leak stains and dampness. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and the dim lighting created an unsettling, almost spooky atmosphere. Due to these conditions, I ultimately decided not to stay overnight. This property requires significant improvements in maintenance and guest comfort to meet even basic hospitality standards."

"I originally intended to book a different hotel from this chain, but somehow ended up booking this one instead. The location is quite inconvenient for shopping and dining. The hotel service was poor, and it was a hassle to get in touch with them if I needed anything. Even though they might have been following protocol, I just got the distinct feeling that they really didn't care about my experience. I arrived in the morning, but they made me wait until the afternoon to check in. While I can't say they did anything explicitly wrong, I definitely won't be staying there again."

"Budget friendly for such a convenient and great location. You're next to SCBD via car which is a popular jakarta gen z place. And tbh the hotel is inside the mall so enter the mall to get to the hotel lobby (i was so confused at first) the mall is lowkey mid BUT it has everything, a decent supermarket downstairs with a bunch of food stalls, a chagee nearby the lobby, a guardian (like watsons ig), sociolla (ALL THE CUTE TRENDY MAKEUP SKINCARE), and my fav People's Cafe (affordable Indonesian food!!!) right by the lobby - also a senayan indo restaurant on 2nd floor. Its not a place to shop clothes or fun stuff but def perfect for eating!!!! Besides just take a car to Grand Indo which isnt too far. Also i highkey didnt like the basic rooms tho, just get the skyview rooms at this point with the windows. Thats wat theyre known for and its def worth it. Otherwise the lower cheaper rooms are pretty meh, barely even a window. Well at least its clean ig. Im def coming here but gnna book the better rooms (the ones with the huge aaa windows) for sure"

"I chose to staycation here yesterday because I was short on time and it was a weekend, so other hotels were fully booked, leaving only this one. Since the hotel isn't too far from my home, I picked it. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations. I stayed in room 610. First, the room door was a bit difficult to open. Next, I booked a room with two single beds, but there was only one pair of hotel slippers provided. The window handle area was extremely dirty; I didn't even want to look out at the night view. In the bathroom, the drain cover was wide open, which was very disturbing and I was worried insects might come out and enter the room. On the bed cover, there was a hole and menstrual blood, which was very upsetting. The TV also had no signal, so it was super, super boring in the room. Don't the housekeepers check all these things when a customer checks out??? I didn't take any photos because I was too disappointed. I even checked out super early in the morning, which I normally don't do. This was my worst staycation experience at a 3-star hotel in South Jakarta. Please, management, fix this immediately and pay more attention to the facilities provided to customers. For 397k, I believe customers should rightfully get a decent room, adequate facilities, and a good experience. Thank you."

"Oak Tree Hotel is an overall decent budget hotel. The rooms have been partially renovated, but the price reflects what you get, so it’s best not to expect anything luxurious. What really stands out is the service. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They were always willing to assist with anything I needed, and I truly appreciated their kindness. At the start of my stay, I had an issue with cockroaches and insects in my first-floor room. The staff responded quickly by thoroughly cleaning the room and using insect spray, but unfortunately the problem persisted. Without any hassle, they eventually moved me to another room, which I really appreciated. Overall, the hotel itself is average, but the outstanding service and excellent value for the price make it a place I would happily stay at again. A big thank you to the amazing staff! 🙏🏽"

"Super little hotel, tucked away down a quiet alley. Large, clean room, beautiful design of the hotel lobby and building. Walking distance to Lotte Mall. Breakfast was a simple buffet, with main dish ordered. Sometimes that was slow to arrive. The coffee at breakfast wasn't the best. Only real negative is evening noise from the adjacent badminton (?) court. Would stay again."

"The room matched the photos perfectly. It was spotless, and they cleaned it every day, restocking coffee, water, and tea. The front desk staff were very helpful with any questions. Plus, the city views from the windows were fantastic! It's an 8-minute walk to the metro through secure areas, and there's a FamilyMart nearby for breakfast."
