The location is good, close to the city center but the room and the alley way to the room is kinda quirky and dark. I think they need to renovate the hotel because it gives you the vibes of the old hotel

The place just doing the opening, so of course some improvements needed in the future, I arrive at night around 7pm, but when try to check in, they offered me twin room instead of the king room that i booked due to having some service on the AC, but cause i want to wait then i got the king room. For the bathub i need to ask its closing lid to receptionist, better it's there already. Aside from that, everything is good, If have an event around here i will book this place again. Thank you

I had such a pleasant stay at Horison Ultima Menteng! The highlight was definitely the friendly and genuine hospitality from the staff. From the moment I checked in, everyone—from the reception to the restaurant team—was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. They made me feel truly at home, remembering small details about my preferences and checking in to make sure everything was comfortable. Even simple gestures, like greeting me every morning or helping with directions around Jakarta, showed how much they genuinely care about their guests. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, with a great location near central Jakarta—but what really stood out was the kindness and attentiveness of the team. I’ll definitely come back, not just for the convenience, but for the people who made my stay memorable.

The hotel is in a good location though it is situated at the backlane of Gajah Mada. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly. A 3-minute walk to Gajah Mada Plaza.10 minutes walk Gajah Mada FoodcStreet and 30 minutes walk to Chinatown.

Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel has a strategic location, is very clean, and the service was excellent. However, it would be better if they provided bottled mineral water instead of refilled water. I also hope the hotel can improve the quality of the body soap and its dispenser, as it was difficult to use.

The room is old but we are okay with that. The old vibes does mean anything spooky. I've encountered old hotel with spooky vibes. This Lumire hotel are old but warm and nice to it. Here are main problem that we encountered in this hotel. 1. the room is not clean enough. We could feel dust on the floor and on the table. 2. We could see the AC ventilation is very dirty and might not be cleaned for a long time. I am not sure whether the dust coming from this dirty AC. The sofa is also felt dusty and rough feel on the skin. 3. The pillow sheet, bed sheet is have bad smoke odor, not strong enough but very noticeable. As parents who love to stay in hotel with my kids, this is a BIG NO NO for me. I am not sure where this smell came from. I ensure I ordered non-smoking room, yet I encountered this. 4. The sink is clogged. When we washes our teeth, the water on the sink not fast enough to be drained, indicating clogged problem. 5. The hallway carpet is very dirty and felt humid. Lots of dirty plates, towel etc being put there for long time but not cleaned directly by staffs. 6. My kids and me felt itchy on our body parts after spending a night on this hotel. Ok points: - Bathtub. We encountered the problem in the afur (drainage) that can't be open. It was solved after calling the service person. - Foods. They are just ok. They provide I think around more than 20 menus for breakfast but only like 3-4 of the menus are outstanding in term of flavor for me. - The breakfast for dining is too small for non-smoking area. - No pool for toddler. This was ok since I can swim together with my toddler, but a pool with toddler heights will be very nice. Plus points: 1. The room has old vibes but warm feeling to it. Nothing spooky. 2. The pool is not wide, yet quite deep and felt clean enough for me. The water inside is also feel very refreshing. 3. The pool is located near the kitchen, so we can order food while swimming. 4. TV already using Smart TV.

The location is perfect, at the middle of the city and near train station. The amenities are very nice the have everything from pool m, gym, tennis court. The design of the hotel is very beautiful and artistic the rooms are beautiful and clean. The hotel smells amazing. Definitely would comeback.
