"I was quite disappointed with my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, the experience was underwhelming — starting with the motorcycle parking area, the hotel lobby, and the exterior of the building, all of which appeared poorly maintained. The room itself was below expectations: only one pair of slippers was provided, the bathroom was neglected and dirty, with visible leak stains and dampness. The overall cleanliness was unsatisfactory, and the dim lighting created an unsettling, almost spooky atmosphere. Due to these conditions, I ultimately decided not to stay overnight. This property requires significant improvements in maintenance and guest comfort to meet even basic hospitality standards."

"Had a great stay here. The place is quiet and cozy, creating a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were outstanding—professional, friendly, and always ready to help. Would definitely return and highly recommend."

"The location is excellent! There are plenty of dining options nearby, including Lippo Mall, Kakilima (street food stalls), and various warungs. The room has a kitchen fully equipped with dishes and cooking utensils, which was incredibly convenient for warming up takeout meals. Basic amenities were provided, and bottled water was also supplied. Regarding the facilities, I'd like to share a note about the bathroom. Although not shown in the photos, there's a bathtub opposite the shower. However, if multiple people bathe consecutively, the water tends to cool down a bit. For those who prefer very hot baths, I recommend waiting a while between uses (though it's not extremely cold, so it's not a major concern). I also appreciated the washing machine and the provided detergent. One minor issue was that the washing machine drain seemed clogged, causing water to overflow in front of the machine during drainage. Improving this would make the stay even more comfortable. Previously, when I stayed at another residence nearby, the Azan (call to prayer) was quite noticeable, but I didn't hear it at all during my stay here, which was a pleasant surprise. The front desk staff were all very kind and provided excellent service. I would definitely love to stay at this residence again!"

"A very high-quality accommodation experience. We booked a family room but only two people slept there. The facilities were complete. The hotel breakfast was also quite good. The location is excellent for work. Call grab food also convenient."

"Super little hotel, tucked away down a quiet alley. Large, clean room, beautiful design of the hotel lobby and building. Walking distance to Lotte Mall. Breakfast was a simple buffet, with main dish ordered. Sometimes that was slow to arrive. The coffee at breakfast wasn't the best. Only real negative is evening noise from the adjacent badminton (?) court. Would stay again."

"Facilities: The room didn't have a hairdryer; I had to call the front desk for one. It was very low-powered, so it took ages to dry my hair. Cleanliness: It was okay, I guess. The shower pressure was excellent, though. However, the shower gel and shampoo weren't labeled, so it was hard to tell them apart. Environment: The swimming pool was nice, 1.2m deep, and practically empty, which was great. Service: The hotel staff had a good attitude. The hotel's location is fantastic. Lotte Mall is within walking distance, and there's a 24-hour convenience store right outside the hotel, so getting water or snacks was never an issue."

"Stayed here with my wife while attending the Aston Villa vs Indonesian All-Star match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. The location is excellent, especially if you're in Jakarta for a football match or concert, as the stadium is just a short distance away. The hotel is also conveniently located near shopping malls and other attractions. The service was friendly and efficient, and the room was clean and comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, a great choice, and I would definitely stay here again."

"I recently stayed here for a business trip and overall had a good experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely the room size. I stayed in a suite and it was very spacious, with a separate living room, kitchen, and bedroom. It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room, which was very comfortable after a long day of work. The location is very convenient because it is connected to Plaza Semanggi, so it was easy to find food, coffee, and basic things without needing to go far. The hotel is also close to Sudirman and the business areas, but during peak hours the traffic around Semanggi can still be quite heavy, so you need to plan your travel time. The facilities are quite complete — there is a swimming pool, gym, and some sports facilities. Breakfast was decent with both Indonesian and Western food, although the menu was more or less the same every day. The downside is that the hotel is a bit old, and you can see it from the furniture and some parts of the room. Everything still works fine, but it could definitely use some renovation. Another thing is the elevator can be slow during busy hours, especially in the morning. Overall, I think this hotel is very good value for money if you want a large room in a central location. It may not be a luxury or modern hotel, but it is comfortable and practical, especially for business trips or longer stays."

"Stayed at Mercure Jakarta Gatot Subroto during a recent business trip and overall it was a really pleasant experience. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming throughout the stay. What stood out the most was the hospitality from all the staff. Everyone was polite, helpful, and always greeted guests warmly. Really appreciate the professionalism and kindness from the team. One small improvement I hope the hotel could consider is the delivery policy. Currently, delivery riders are not allowed to pass items directly to the reception due to concerns about missing items. Understandable from a security perspective, but I believe handling and receiving deliveries properly is also part of hotel service. Hopefully this process can be improved to make things more convenient for guests in the future. Other than that, everything was great and I had a good stay overall. Thank you to the team for the hospitality!"
