"Wir waren zu zweit in diesem Hotel in Galway und hatten einen wirklich angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern gestaltet. Unser Zimmer war zwar eher kompakt, aber absolut sauber und ordentlich. Das Bett war für zwei Personen etwas schmal – das war jedoch bereits so in der Beschreibung angegeben und für uns völlig in Ordnung. Die Lage ist hervorragend und sehr zentral. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gibt es einige tolle Cafés sowie eine Küche zur Nutzung. Auch Parkplätze findet man in der nahen Umgebung problemlos. Für einen Städtetrip nach Galway aufgrund der zentralen Lage und der Modernität definitiv eine gute Wahl!"

"The Connacht Hotel comfortable, busy, and a bit chaotic in a very Galway way. Good food, solid pool, loads of families and weekend groups. Parts feel modern, parts feel stuck in 2012, but the atmosphere carries it. No air-conditioning so it's hard to sleep."

"Staying in Dublin and seeing the weekend hostel price 4.5 boating Goalway on the run. But this was a good thing. It was a much more beautiful destination for me than Dublin. There was more to see. The breakfast at the hostel gave me a leisurely mind, which was burdened by rising prices. Stay for only one day, but leave a good memory 🫶"

"The room and bed were both very spacious, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The location is great, right on the edge of the city, which made it easy to find and convenient for getting onto the main road shortly after leaving."

"This hostel exceeded expectations, for me. The rooms had comfy beds, large lockers and air-con. The free breakfast was delicious and home made and they even do family dinner each night which is great value and a fun way to meet people. The bathrooms were basic but functional and clean and I didn't have to wait for a shower. The pub downstairs was lively and good value. I would suggest bringing ear plugs though as the live music goes on quite late some nights so if you want to sleep you'll need them."

"The room was large and clean, because the bar was downstairs, I saw some evaluations that it was a bit noisy, really not noisy, indicating that the sound insulation was very good. The front desk is very welcoming, the location is too convenient, the city center, walk to the bus station for 5 minutes. I also need to go to business park outside the city. The bus below the hotel is directly there. It is too convenient. After get off work, go to the pedestrian street behind the hotel. I will stay here next time."

"Very convenient location - just a minute or two walk from the train station. Room was clean, facilities were reasonable for the price. The issue we did have though was not receiving any check-in details prior to arriving in the evening. While trying to check in, a few groups managed to check in - having received earlier that day an email from the accommodation. For whatever reason, we didn't get ours. After a number of messages/calls and seeking assistance from the hotel across the road, we managed to finally receive comms from the accommodation in order to gain entry. While the individual from Madison House was adamant they sent the email, they weren't able to provide proof of this upon request..."

"The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The hotel is located in perfect location. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown Galway."

"OK, there is a curtain on the bed, there is a certain privacy. The location is very good, very close to the train station and bus station, breakfast is OK, so-so, in a country with high prices in Ireland, the Youth Hostel is a very good economic choice."
