SSummerThe bus stops right in front of the hotel when returning to Kushiro from Lake Akan. It is very convenient. There are izakaya ramen shops and convenience stores nearby. The breakfast is rich and the service is also very good. It is not far from the JR station.

ZZhuomeiyadewanuofuxidaowangweiFacilities: The rooftop onsen area has three pools with brand-new facilities. It's very relaxing to soak in them, and after a bath, you can use the massage chairs or read manga. In the mornings, you can enjoy unlimited Yakult, and in the evenings, there are four kinds of ice cream available for free. Cleanliness: The room was spotless. The mini-fridge had three complimentary bottles of mineral water, three apples, and pudding. The room was cleaned very thoroughly. Ambiance: The hotel feels completely new. Coming here after checking out of the Prince Hotel felt like traveling from the millennium to the new century, haha. Service: Every evening at 9:30 PM, the hotel offers free all-you-can-eat ramen. It has the local specialty soy sauce broth, and honestly, it tastes almost identical to the famous Uoichi ramen we paid for. Self-check-in and check-out are very convenient. The hotel breakfast also includes Kushiro Robatayaki and self-made leftover rice, so you don't need to spend money eating out. It's excellent value for money. Location: The location is also fantastic, directly opposite the MOO shopping mall, just a five-minute walk. It's very convenient for taking the 'White Bus' and the airport shuttle.

XXiaoshujiangThe ocean-view room with its large glass windows was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. Although it's an older hotel, the renovation made it almost look new. The hotel's construction was very solid, and the bathroom showerhead had great water pressure, which was a plus. It was also the only accommodation that provided bottled water. I came here to evacuate because I couldn't leave Kushiro temporarily due to the tsunami. The experience was good, except the food was a bit lacking.

PPandaolimingThe hotel's location is excellent; it's a two-minute walk straight ahead after turning left from the JR station. There's a bus stop and a sightseeing bus pick-up point right outside the entrance. It's also just over a ten-minute walk to Nusamai Bridge. The hotel breakfast is delicious, and there are complimentary alcoholic beverages and soft drinks on the first floor in the evenings. They also offer free hot springs. The only downside is the questionable cleanliness, which needs improvement.

ZZandoudouMy stay this time was far from smooth. I booked a 17 sqm room, but upon arrival, the hotel said it wasn't available and offered a 13-15 sqm room instead, with no refund for the downgrade – absolutely unheard of! I've only ever known hotels to offer free upgrades when the booked room isn't available, never a downgrade without a refund. I arrived at 12 PM and, after being told my booked room was unavailable, I contacted Trip.com. I was met by 'Xiao Hong,' the most unhelpful customer service agent I've ever encountered. Despite calling multiple times over 5 hours, there was no feedback, and she repeatedly delayed responding, costing me dozens of yuan in call fees. Frustrated, I requested a new agent, and the issue was resolved by a supervisor in less than 15 minutes, finally demonstrating the level of service I expect from Trip.com. As a 16-year Trip.com Diamond member, I choose to book through them over other OTA platforms like ** (removed specific OTA name), even paying a bit more, precisely because of their customer service's ability to handle emergencies. This experience was truly disappointing, though I'm glad the customer service supervisor maintained the usual standard.

GGuest UserKushiro isn't a big city, so there's not much to explore. For a one-night stay, this hotel was truly faultless! The room was a standard Japanese-style room, with just enough space to open one suitcase. Downstairs, there's a self-service coffee and tea station, and on each floor, you can choose your own pillow. The breakfast was excellent, and I especially loved the miso soup – it was packed with ingredients and delicious, plus they had Hokkaido milk! Parking is conveniently located right across from the hotel. There seemed to be many restaurants, but in winter, some were closed, and it was really cold, so we didn't venture too far. In summary: the staff were incredibly friendly, and for a one-night stay, it was absolutely perfect.

LLamudeguozhanpaiThe hotel is directly opposite Kushiro Station, with a bus terminal downstairs. It's also just a 10-minute walk to Nusamai Bridge. If you walk right for about 10 minutes, there's a large supermarket. Overall, it's very convenient. The breakfast is abundant and varied, with salmon, tempura, and beef bowls every day, plus fruits like mango and grapefruit. The room is a bit small, but that's standard for Japan. The public bath isn't large, with a small soaking tub and five shower stalls.

SsanioWhile the rooms were a bit small, the hotel boasts an excellent location right by the river, adjacent to Nusamai Bridge. Just two blocks away, the evenings come alive as a vibrant food and entertainment district. The hotel's public bath was impressively large, featuring a sauna and an open-air rotenburo. A fantastic bonus was the big screen TV in the rotenburo! Breakfast options were limited, but the food was delicious. Kushiro Station is a mere 10-minute walk away, and MOO Pier is even closer, just 5 minutes on foot. Overall, the convenience was outstanding!

GGuest UserIt has good access from the station. It's on the opposite side of the railway tracks from the downtown area along the Kushiro River. If walking, you can reach Kushiro Station via a pedestrian bridge or underground passage. There is ample parking. There is a large public bath on the first floor (about 8 people in the washing area). Bicycle rentals are available for nearby places (there are no convenience stores nearby). The basic necessities are provided.

GGuest UserThe hotel side is adequate but simple. The restaurant part should be avoided, food basic cheap and the worse of our two weeks in Hokkaido. Staff was unfriendly to say the least. There is a beer box at the entrance of the restaurant, but that is ”outside” . We thought we should take the beer before entering the restaurant, and that got the staff just about scream at us, because beer is sold inside! Breakfast is from 7 to 9 and while we were finishing our breakfast started at 8.30 waitress showed up saying we should be out by 9 as they closed! Very close to Akan crane center but the worse accomodation of hokkaido, to be avoided if you can. All other places we stayed people were most friendly!
