Hotels near Hiromine Shrine, Himeji

First time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price! 1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not. 2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning. 3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F. 4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price. Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

Stayed in this chain of hotels before. As usual, service is impeccable. Monterey Himeji is ideally located, near train station, shopping and food joints. It is also quite close to Himeji castle as well. For those who drive, there is a private car park and there are staff stationed to help direct parking. Although the hotel is connected to the adjacent shopping mall, security and privacy is good - away from the hustle and bustle of crowds.

Breakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama. However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.

Only 5 minute walk from the station. Lovely staff to welcome me. Check in was easy. I could leave my bags and come back later. Room was a good size and I had all amenities I needed. Great I could stream Prime video and Spotify from my phone. I could see beautiful sunsets from my window. Room was quiet apart from some thumps on the wall when cleaners were next door. Breakfast was incredible! Snapper rice, octopus rice, pho made on demand, eel congee made on demand, almond toast (superb), salads, eggs, fruit, bread and pastries, takoyaki, mackerel and sardines and puddings! And having free tea and coffee to access during my stay untl 8pm every evening. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend staying here.

Room is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

Location is very convenient, a few minutes away from the station and there are lots of retail shops and restaurants near by. Amenities and refreshments are all located in the lobby for self-service, and staff at the front is very helpful when we encountered any type of question. Our room is located on the top floor, which gave us nice views and ventilation. But we are aware that our friends staying in other floor/type of room was a bit more crowded and compacted.

This was the accommodation I chose to visit Himeji Castle. The facilities were clean, and each bedroom had a TV, so I could even watch Japanese programs. There was also a co-working space available, and both the accommodation and the co-working area had manga that you could freely read. It’s only about a 5-minute walk from the station, which is very convenient, and about 5 minutes by bus to Himeji Castle. I also visited Kokoen Garden next to the castle, and during the spring season, it’s open at night as well—so after enjoying the night view, I could easily return to the accommodation. 히메지 성을 보러 가기 위해 선택한 숙소였어요 시설은 깨끗하고 침실마다 TV도 있어 일본 방송도 볼 수 있었어요 코워킹 공간도 이용할 수 있었고, 숙소와 코워킹 공간에는 만화책도 있어서 자유롭게 볼 수 있어요 역에서 걸어서 5분거리로 엄청 가깝고 히메지 성과는 버스로 5분 거리에요 히메지 성 옆 코코엔(일본정원)도 구경하고 요즘 봄 시즌에는 야간 개장도 해서 관람 후 숙소로 편하게 도착할 수 있었어요

Location is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues. The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided. To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.

Location is really good and central and walking distance from all the major places. Service was good because they gave us a different room with two actual beds, just make sure if you book a double room it is with an actual bed and not a bed and a couch. But great that they were able to put us in a triple room. The couch is not a great way to sleep, you would have a crack in the middle. But 4,25 stars out of 5

The building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
