"Second time in Fukuoka, and another very satisfying stay! The hotel's location is excellent, just a seven to eight-minute walk from Hakata Station. There's a Lawson convenience store right by the back entrance, and while there's a tram line nearby, it wasn't noisy and didn't bother me at all. The room was quite spacious compared to other places I've stayed in Japan, with twin beds and a large desk perfect for piling up snacks from the convenience store. It even had a microwave and a washing machine with a drying function, which was incredibly convenient! Housekeeping is on demand; you can choose to just have your towels replaced or have towels replaced and trash collected. A full cleaning seems to cost extra. For breakfast, you get to choose one main dish out of four options, and then there's a self-service selection of smaller items. It's certainly not comparable to the variety you'd find at a five-star hotel, but it was perfectly adequate. I'm deducting half a star for service because one day the main course was slow to arrive, almost making me late for my plans. Other than that, everything else was excellent!"

"The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Hakata Station. You can directly access JR and Shinkansen lines from B1. Popular spots like Musashi Wagyu Rice are right across the street from the 1st-floor exit, and the famous sheep cheese toast is just a 6-minute walk away. The hotel's cleanliness is also excellent, and the rooms are quite spacious for Japan. It's definitely a top choice for family trips!"

"This is an older hotel chain, and I chose it this time because the first hotel I stayed at in Japan over a decade ago was a Nikko. I haven't picked it in a long time, so I wanted to try it again, purely for nostalgic reasons. The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation, and the service remains good. However, during this stay, they were undergoing exterior renovations, which meant I couldn't open the curtains, making the room feel a bit claustrophobic. The hotel didn't mention this special circumstance on the booking platform, nor did they inform me during check-in. They also didn't offer to move me to a room not affected by the renovations or provide any other form of compensation. The complete lack of communication and options is truly unacceptable. Image 2 shows the notice about the exterior renovations placed in the room; Image 1 shows the curtains drawn during my daytime check-in."

"Facilities: It's an older hotel, so the facilities are quite dated. Cleanliness: Overall good, pretty clean. Environment: Not far from JR, so it's quite convenient. Service: Very good. They allowed me to store my luggage in advance, and the staff were friendly. The best part is the free access to the sauna next door, which is a real bargain and excellent value for money."

"Small but perfectly formed, this hotel has everything you need, including pajamas in the room and a capsule coffee machine! It's right above Exit 3 of Akasaka Station, which is super convenient for shopping in Tenjin. Plus, there's a famous motsunabe (offal hotpot) restaurant right in front. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Fukuoka!"

"Hip hotel, hip food, room, balcony, all-inclusive food~ And a hotel with a 2:00 PM check-out time ♥️❤️🩷 Stayed here twice. Young, casual, yet professional staff! The second time, there were no rooms at this hotel, so I stayed at the Tenjin One Building One Fukuoka Hotel for two nights (same chain hotel). Here we go~~ For me, except for the pillow, this place was better than the new One Hotel!! Exit Hakata Station's east exit and take the main road on the right. A leisurely 10-minute walk, a brisk 5-minute walk. This is it!!"

"This hotel boasts a prime location right in the heart of Fukuoka's Tenjin Nishi-dori. It's directly across the street from Iwataya department store and Ichiran Ramen, with Tenjin Underground Mall, various shopping centers, Don Quijote, Zara, trendy fashion streets, the subway, and the Nishitetsu Tenjin express bus terminal all within easy reach. There are also tons of great restaurants within walking distance. The self-check-in process was super convenient, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and for Japan, it was actually quite spacious – enough room to open up two suitcases comfortably. The shower had excellent water pressure. My only minor complaints are that the sink is a bit low and the water pressure for the faucet is on the weaker side. This will definitely be my go-to hotel next time I visit Fukuoka!"

"Located in Nakasu, it's an 8-minute walk straight to Hakata and a 13-minute walk to Tenjin. The hotel is opposite the new wing of Cancel City, and you can walk through the mall to reach other areas. There's a 7-Eleven across the street, and Lawson and Family Mart are nearby. The hotel rooms are small, but the TVs have internet access or can be cast. The public bath has only one square bath with eight shower stalls, two of which were temporarily closed. There's an ice bath and a sauna/steam room, but it's quite small, accommodating only about four people. You need to bring your own towels to the public bath. Dormy Inn is quite professional and considerate. The new hotel is very clean, well-lit, and the service is excellent. The mattresses are of average size, and each bed has two large pillows. There are no disposable slippers, which is a hygiene concern. It's recommended to bring your own slippers, as they don't clean them daily; you need to notify them before leaving each day for cleaning, towel changing, and trash disposal."

"It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata Station. The hotel is small, a typical business hotel. There's a small convenience store across the street (staffed by Indians, didn't buy anything there). The front desk area is small and can get crowded when there are a lot of people, so it seems like business is good. The front desk staff followed procedures exactly, without much of a smile throughout. If there was a communication barrier, they used a translator. I booked a twin room for over 1200 RMB for one night, and they unexpectedly charged a consumption tax of 400 RMB, which is one-third of the room rate! How could it be so high? I specifically asked about it, and they used a translator to say it was a mandatory charge. I understand paying tax, but one-third of the price? I wonder if others were charged that much too, but I wasn't charged this tax at my hotel in Tokyo the day before. Luckily, I only booked for one night and switched hotels the next day. The room was small, and the window couldn't be opened at all. It got stuffy without the air conditioning. For breakfast, you choose one main dish from four options, and the rest is a buffet. There weren't many dishes, but it was enough to fill you up."

"Beside locations, the best value that this hotel offers compared to its neighbouring hotels is the chargeable laundry service. Many hotels come with coin laundry machine but for business travelers, this chargeable laundry service is crucial. Also it offers additional option for breakfast choice to their associated hotel within walking distance. Excellent value for those who stay 2 days and above!"
