Standard Japanese hotel room. Yes, it’s not big, but perfectly fine. All rooms here are pretty much the same. (Unless if you’re willing to shell out 20k minimum for US brand hotels). If you need big look somewhere else.

Everything was great, except for the room being a bit small. Having stayed in many Japanese hotels, I'm used to that. The location is super convenient, just a five-minute walk from Hakata Station. Even though it's right by the railway tracks, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and tidy, small but well-equipped with everything you need. It was a thoughtful touch that the front desk provided toiletries, coffee, and tea bags for guests to take freely.

The Hostel was for the most part clean and the staff was welcoming and polite. The Hostel featured a small but cozy communal area with seating, kitchen and small cafe.
The downside was that no amenities where included in the price. You had to pay extra for towels and toothbrush and no slippers were included.
The location is a bit off but absolutely alright. The city center was within walking distance and so was the port.

Great value for money, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, taking a bus is actually quite convenient. Also, the South Asian convenience store clerk at the nearby Lawson has a really poor attitude; I've seen a lot of bad reviews for them on Google Maps. The room was quite spacious, not like the typical Toyoko Inn size, and the amenities were good, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom.

This is a capsule hotel near Hakata Railway Station and two subway stations from Fukuoka Airport. A lot of restaurants are in the vicinity.
Breakfast has two choices: Japanese style and Western style. The garlic bread in breakfast is delicious. The hotel is at the 2nd floor of a bus terminal, from where you can take bus to Tokyo , Osaka and other major cities. The large bathroom in Japanese style is worthwhile for a non-Japanese to try.

Loved the location; it’s a 5-minute walk from the nearest subway (Nakasu-Kawabata station). It’s also near Tenjin area.
Eating and drinking are not allowed in the room; encouraged to eat and drink at the lounge on level 9. The lounge has a kitchen (complete with stove, cooking utensils, oven toaster, microwave and fridge) so you can cook or heat up your food there.
They also have some brochures and guides (love the ramen recommendations!) at the lobby and lounge, which is a nice touch.
Breakfast is provided from 7 - 9.30 am, which is nice too. It’s a simple spread of bread, milk, yogurt, cereal, fruit juice and soup.
Shower rooms are located on level 2, while there are bathrooms on every floor (if I recall correctly).
The downside is that the walls are thin; sometimes I could hear people in the corridor. There’s also only one lift, so sometimes I have to wait a while for it.

Because it was newly renovated, there was a slight smell in the room and bathroom when I first opened them, so I kept the windows open. Everything else was fine. Also, the mattress was too soft; it would have been better if it were a bit firmer.
Opened in December 2021! 8 minutes walk from the front entrance of JR "Hakata Station" (Hakata Exit)!

GGuest UserCompletely won over on my first stay! 😌
This is now my top hotel in Fukuoka. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
The TV had a Chinese interface, which was great for ordering room service, and the minibar was complimentary.
It was super convenient for shopping, and going anywhere was a breeze.
Such a comfortable stay, I'll definitely be back next time.
Lluv travelingI recently stayed again at Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine, and it definitely lived up to my expectations for a return visit.
The location is still one of the biggest highlights — being right next to the subway and within walking distance to Hakata Station, Canal City, and plenty of restaurants makes getting around incredibly convenient.
The rooms are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. While they’re not very large (which is typical in Japan), everything is well laid out and comfortable. I especially appreciated the small details like the amenities and overall cleanliness.
One of the best parts of staying here again was the public bath (onsen). It’s clean, relaxing, and a perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring — definitely something I looked forward to every night.
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth and efficient.
Overall, this hotel continues to be a reliable and comfortable choice in Fukuoka. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and well-equipped base for exploring the city.
DDayazhouI stayed here for ten days to enjoy the cherry blossoms, witnessing the entire process from their initial bloom to full splendor in Fukuoka. I was extremely pleased with everything, from the hotel lobby to the room, and from the service to the food. It's conveniently located within walking distance of Hakata Station. The cherry blossoms at Tochoji Temple nearby were magnificent when in full bloom (April 202***). The breakfast was particularly delicious, especially the vegetable salad, the made-to-order sashimi rice bowl, and the desserts. Perhaps because the bathroom and washroom were quite spacious, taking up a lot of the area, the 21-square-meter room felt small. We could just about open two small suitcases, but a larger one would have been difficult!
GGuest UserThe room we stayed was quite small. With a double bed inside the room, there was hardly any room for us to move around. The room was smelly and I suspect they do not clean it too often. It was definitely not worth the price we paid for. We also asked for changing to a twin room but it could not be entertained.
Yyanyan2100The room was indeed quite small, which was a surprise given this was one of my 10+ trips to Japan. I specifically chose this hotel because it was recommended as a 'premium' option on Ctrip. The only real upside is the location, which is excellent, but the value for money isn't great if that's all you're considering. I initially thought the hotel's three eco-friendly cleaning policies were commendable. On the first day, I opted for just a towel change. However, on the second day, I clearly selected the full room cleaning option, but when I returned to the hotel after 7 PM, I found the room hadn't been cleaned at all, and the trash bags hadn't been replaced. It was completely overlooked. When I called the front desk, they said they were off-duty and could only replace towels and provide bottled water. We checked out the next day anyway.
VVvmingThe room was spacious, but I really disliked the empty, dark, and oppressive decor. While there was plenty of space, all the furniture, including the flooring, felt very basic. There was a lot of room on either side of the bed, yet no bedside tables were provided, making it seem like the furniture wasn't placed to complement the space. The same issue applied to the hot spring changing room, where the lockers were crammed into one corner, making it feel very cramped. Breakfast seemingly had a good variety, but all the dishes were nearly empty. I'm not sure if I arrived at the wrong time, but there was still an hour left until closing. On a positive note, the bedding was very comfortable, and I particularly liked the hotel's pillows – I found them really cozy. Free coffee was also available in the lobby.
CCeline JJJHotel is located near (about 3 mins walk from Hakata Station (East exit) and Lawson (there is hotel back door, turn left before Lawson). Very very convenient and dont need to cross the street. Room can accommodate 3 pax, though a bit tight, not issue when going to toilet and bathroom (which is separated). If you are joining 1 day tour, the meet up is at Lawson which is just 1 minute from the hotel lobby.
The airport bus is just infront of Lawson thus it super convenient as we need to reach airport by 7ish am for our flight home (we catch the earliest bus @ 6.50am) and it takes only around 20 mins to reach airport @ 310 yen. Many malls around this area + mini shops in Hakata Station, you can shop till you drop. Breakfast is Japanese style and tatami seatings.
I will choose this Hotel again for my next visit to Fukuoka.
GGuest UserWe booked a twin room Chapter4 with 2 small double beds. The space is big which is good for us as we have 2 active toddlers and it was just nice for them to move around in the room. Bed size is just nice. We requested kids toiletries and the hotel provided kid's toilet seat and toothbrush. Buffet breakfast option available but we didn't try as ¥3500/adult is a bit pricey. We settled breakfast at konbini steps away from the hotel. There is a small Cafe just next to the hotel for caffeine fix, nice coffee at reasonable price. No coin laundry available, I have to drive 5mins to get one. Location wise,, it took us about 10mins walk from Hakata station and that means quieter environment. In short, I recommend it for family stay with kids as it offers bigger room space, reasonable price, quiet environment and near to Hakata station.
GGuest UserBreakfast is amazing. Didn’t expect this extravagant breakfast and it is worth the price, compensating small room size but as expected room in the city. When enter the hotel entrace, the esthetic and fragrance smell is nice. Welcome drink is white wine and that is a win!! Overall is good hotel experience (this hotel has no parking lot but can park at nearby building) and staff is very nice.
WWidjono GozaliExpensive for what you get, but I am told that Fukuoka hotels are expensive (even more than Tokyo) because of the limited hotels compared to the amount of visitors it gets. The twin rooms are ridiculous TINY- way too small for two people and our two luggages! The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, and we were able to upgrade to a bigger twin room but you still get very bare amenities.
