The location is actually great. It's much more convenient to take the Airport Line directly to Tenjin Station and navigate from there. No need to transfer at Yakuin, the location recommended by Trip.com is incorrect; it's not only a detour but also requires a transfer. This hotel is actually very discreet, with an inconspicuous logo, and it's located on the 3rd floor. The first floor is a wine bar that also sells some T-shirts, kind of like a studio. If you see that on the first floor, you've found the right place. The front desk staff are very welcoming. You can check in early by scanning a QR code to register. The lobby isn't big, but it's very modern. The lounge area is also comfortable, and there's complimentary tea. The room isn't huge, but the amenities are complete. It's definitely okay for a solo traveler. The cleanliness is excellent. You can find many shops within a five-minute walk if you want to eat something. Plus, the price is good. Recommended.

The location is 200m walk from Tenjin Minami, which is connecting to the underground shopping street. Room do not expect to be very spacious, but enough for 2x 28” luggage, with some extra room. Lawson just downstairs. Good coffee, small bar with great jazz band. within 100m Nakasu with a lot of local hidden gems just about 600 walk. Conclusion: personally I will try their Hakata Branch if I visited Fukuoka next time. As it is closer to the station if you travel by train. Lastly, in general, do not need to worry about airport transfer as the airport is close to the city, the taxi fare is not high and you can just go airport with peace of mind.

Regarding breakfast: •Purchase of additional breakfast is possible on that day, but due to the limited capacity our staffs may not be able to accommodate if the capacity is over. •To manage congestion, we have set time restrictions for breakfast. Please arrive with ample time. •Business hours and offerings are subject to change without prior notice. •We do not offer meals specifically for children.

Expensive for what you get, but I am told that Fukuoka hotels are expensive (even more than Tokyo) because of the limited hotels compared to the amount of visitors it gets. The twin rooms are ridiculous TINY- way too small for two people and our two luggages! The receptionist was helpful and apologetic, and we were able to upgrade to a bigger twin room but you still get very bare amenities.

I came to Fukuoka for a city walk, and here's my review of the hotel: 1. **Location & Transportation:** The hotel's location is excellent! It's super convenient, with two subway entrances nearby. When coming from the airport, we took the Hakozaki Line, and the exit led directly to the hotel without needing to cross the road. For the return trip to the airport, the Kuko Line stop was just across the street. Very easy! The hotel is situated in Nakasu. The Ichiran Ramen main store is right next door – that was our first meal in Fukuoka, and there was even a queue outside. From the hotel, it's a short walk (3-4 minutes) to Tenjin Central Park, 15-20 minutes to Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall, and within a 30-minute walk to Canal City, Nakasu Yatai (food stalls), Nakasu walking street, Kushida Shrine, Tocho-ji Temple, and more. For further sights like Fukuoka Castle Ruins, Ohori Park, and Fukuoka Tower, it's just a few subway stops away. It's also very convenient to take the train from Nishitetsu Tenjin Station (South) to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine (with a transfer at Futsukaichi). Hakata Station is only two subway stops away. 2. **Nearby Food:** There are so many great food options around the hotel! I highly recommend a few must-try spots: Ichiran Ramen (main store), Yoshizuka Unagi (main store) – about a 20-minute walk along the river, and Shokudo Hikari (for set meals and sashimi). 3. **Hotel Room:** The room was a bit small, but it was clean and tidy. Towels were changed daily during our three-night stay. The window faced the outer wall of the adjacent building. There was no desk and no complimentary bottled water. The cabinet (as shown in picture 2) was useful for placing items like cameras, power banks, and charging cables. Check-in time at the hotel is after 3 PM, but you can drop off your luggage if you arrive early. The staff were patient and professional during check-in – thumbs up! If you're coming to Fukuoka for a city walk and to enjoy the local cuisine, I'd definitely recommend considering this hotel.

The location is superb, within close proximity to numerous restaurants and shopping centres, and only a 10‑minute walk to Tenjin Underground Street. The property is also highly accessible—approximately a 20‑minute Uber ride from Fukuoka Airport, costing around JPY 3,000. The room is a newly renovated Double Standard Room located on the 8th floor. While there is no external view, the layout is highly practical and well designed. The room is equipped with an electric hob, refrigerator, and electric kettle. A pay‑per‑use washer and dryer, along with a microwave, are conveniently located in the laundry room at the lobby level. In addition, guests may enjoy complimentary use of a coffee machine at the lobby.

A men-only cabin-style hotel located in Tenjin, the heart of Fukuoka City. Worst hotel experience in a month of traveling Japan — avoid if you have other options I've been traveling across Japan for a full month — Osaka, Tokyo, Hiroshima and more — and Wellcabin Tenjin is hands down the worst service I've received anywhere. Made a simple booking mistake and reached out to correct it within 10 minutes — not the last day, not last minute, literally within 10 minutes of booking. I wasn't asking for a refund or a cancellation — I simply wanted to change the date and upgrade to a more private room, both of which would have benefited them financially. Still a flat out no. I petitioned multiple times, even with the support of the hotel booking agent advocating on my behalf, and they remained completely unmoved. No empathy, no flexibility, no solutions. Just a stubborn, repeated refusal — for the most basic and reasonable requests imaginable. The app also showed ”Failed to cancel booking” and ”Failed to modify dates” so there was no way to self-serve either. Completely trapped. On top of that: 11am checkout means you are gone — permanently. You cannot come back inside, cannot use any facilities, cannot sit for a break, cannot do anything. You are physically out the door at 11am with no return. Most hotels worldwide let you hang around the lobby or common areas — not here. Just thrown out onto the street. No luggage storage after checkout — in all my years of traveling worldwide, this is the first place I've ever stayed that refuses to hold your bags. Not once have I encountered this anywhere else. You're left dragging everything around all day with zero support. The place simply doesn't feel welcoming — from the moment something goes wrong, you're completely on your own Nickel-and-dime culture — they charge a fee for everything, including slippers. Every other hostel I stayed at across Japan provided them free, daily. Not here. Locker room has no camera — you cannot leave anything safely here Laundry is overpriced — the most expensive I encountered across every city I stayed in Japan For a capsule hotel marketing itself on convenience, it fails on almost every front. Every basic comfort comes with a price tag, and the moment you need any flexibility or human decency, they shut the door on you — literally and figuratively — even when you act immediately, in good faith, and are willing to spend more. The only thing going for it is the central Tenjin location — but that's the neighborhood, not the hotel. I travel around the world constantly and this is genuinely the first time I've encountered a hotel this rigid, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. Only consider this place if you have absolutely no other options. Otherwise, keep looking.

Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Nakasu's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just a 2-minute walk from Exit 2 of Nakasu-Kawabata Subway Station, meaning you're practically there as soon as you step out – super convenient, especially with luggage. It's right in the heart of Nakasu's gourmet district, with the Yatai street and the original Ichiran Ramen just downstairs. Plus, it's incredibly easy to walk to Tenjin and Hakata from here. The room was clean and tidy, with a comfortable, minimalist Japanese design. The rooftop public bath was a highlight; being able to relax in the hot spring while enjoying the city night view after a long day of sightseeing was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast was excellent, featuring freshly made seafood sushi and local seafood. The front desk offered multi-language service and there was free Wi-Fi. Overall, it was a perfect experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Fukuoka!

KKeweisishidakaiThe location is fantastic! I really enjoyed the mall located right downstairs. It has a three-story Chanel store and many trendy Japanese brands, perfect for leisurely browsing. There's also a general store on B1 where I spent at least an hour, and still felt like I could have stayed longer.

Bbyti.coWonderful location! A straight walk from Hakata Station (or you can take one stop on the subway). The hotel is right outside the subway station. Very short walk to Canal City too. A 24h pharmacy nearby with an AEON mart at the basement. There's good food around too. Really great location but if you stay the STAY ROOM type, please note that you will be facing a huge cemetery 🥲. It's mostly hidden by trees but you absolutely can see it. The hotel is right infront of the cemetery. Other room types won't get that view thankfully. There's a free to use public bath, free ice pops, and free to use microwave. Washing machine outside is paid per use. You can see the status from your room. STAY ROOM washing is free with detergent provided 👍 Service was great initially. Check in team aided with my requests. However, checkout team was not the best. I arrived at the counter, confused and in a rush but the team in the morning all stood behind the counter, leaning their backs to the wall. I utter a word of question and nobody came forward to help. I tried to figure it out myself, by slotting in the card, then finally someone came forward, no talk no acknowledgement, tapped some stuff - all in japanese - and then nothing. I was confused, then one of the English speaking stuff said ”all done”... I was very unimpressed with this service. Especially with the sight of all of them leaning against the wall when I obviously needed help. Really a downer to a good stay.

MmeruchanStayed at JR Kyushu Hotel Blossom Hakata Central during my trip to Fukuoka and overall had a very comfortable experience. Location: The hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from Hakata Station, making it extremely easy to get around the city or catch trains. One useful pro-tip: on the day we were leaving for the airport it was raining, and we discovered there is an underground passage connecting to the subway right next to the hotel. There is no clear signage from the hotel side, it just looks like a staircase going down to the basement but it connects directly to the underground network leading to the subway. The only downside is that there is no elevator, so it may not be ideal if you have heavy luggage. Room: The room felt quite spacious by Japanese standards. We were able to comfortably open 2 large suitcases, 1 medium suitcase, and 1 cabin luggage without feeling cramped. The bathroom was also relatively large, which is a nice plus compared to many business hotels in Japan. Overall, a very convenient and comfortable stay, especially if you plan to travel frequently via Hakata Station.

GGuest UserThe hotel is new with excellent service. It's super convenient, just three subway stops from the airport, a 15-minute walk to Jr Hakata Station, and 10 minutes to Canal City Hakata. The rooms are a good size, and the bathroom is spacious. The lobby is on the second floor and offers various amenities.

GGuest UserThe location was superb as it's just a few steps away from the underground entrance to the metro. There's also a 24Hr supermarket just minutes walk from the hotel above ground or if it's raining you can take the metro underground walkway which will also get you right to the entrance of supermarket. There are a few drug stores nearby (for medicine / cosmetics) and some open till 9pm or even midnight. It's only a very short walk to get to Canal city shopping area which has an array of shops and dinning options. We stayed for 5 nights and breakfast was included in our room rate and it was very good with a decent amount of choices (we ended up eating there 4/5 mornings). Although the dinning area was not very big so if you're there during peak hours there could be a bit of a wait. The room was a standard 'Dormy' room that you'd expect in almost any other Dormy Inn but for this particular hotel we felt the cleaning needs a bit of work. We have a habit of wiping down the shelves / tables before placing our things and even after three rounds of wiping with wet cloth / tissue it's still grey which shook us a bit.

BBee Hong OngI love this hotel as it's very convenient, near to Hakata Station, shopping area where you can buy everything under one roof. Hotel is clean, staff very friendly, and it comes with free coffee, free soba, free flow of wine and sake. Laundry at level 5 is convenient with free clothing compress that helps me so much when packing my luggage. Easy transport to and fro airport and hotel. Good breakfast with many choices but expensive when rooms without breakfast anyway I enjoyed my stay with Oriental Hotel and will recommend it to friends travelling to Fukuoka.

JJovoyageIt’s already expected that hotel rooms in Japan are on the smaller side, but this hotel was very well designed and comfortable. The in-room washer and dryer being completely free to use was a huge plus, and the dryer actually worked really well! Amenities were also provided, which made the stay even more convenient. Service was average and seemed to depend on which staff attended to you. Some staff members were friendly and helpful, while a few appeared a bit unfriendly or less welcoming. The only downside was the in-room fridge. We stayed in two different rooms and both fridges were not cold enough. We stored cream puffs inside and unfortunately they spoiled overnight. The location is about an 8–10 minute walk from Hakata Station depending on your pace, so it was quite accessible. Overall, it’s a good place to stay.

EEkin HuFukuoka on a weekend is notoriously expensive, and with my last-minute booking, options were limited. I was a bit worried seeing the lower review scores, but my stay was perfectly fine. It's incredibly convenient: just turn left out of the Chikushi Exit and it's a 1-2 minute walk. If you're taking the Shinkansen, the Chikushi Exit is where you need to be. Plus, the bus to the airport from the old Hakata Bus Terminal has also moved to the bus stop at the Chikushi Exit, making travel incredibly easy.

GGuest UserConveniently located in the Tenjin area and right next to the Tenjin stop (on the airport line) and also the underground street mall. there is a good line up for breakfast, though it only starts at 7am, which is difficult for those who are catching a 10am flight. A really busy hotel, which speaks of how good the location and service is, and perhaps the staff look over work. I made my way to the reception to get them to deliver a luggage rack up, which the reception promised she would do so personally this moment. But after 40mins still no sign and I needed to go to bed, so I made my way down and asked a 2nd time.
