Amazing
KKatsunoriAlthough it is located far from the city, there are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby so it is not inconvenient.
The parking lot is spacious and the rooms are clean.
GGuest UserNice capsule hotel, the entrance is not very obvious. The only downside is the thin mattress, sleeping on the side is a bit uncomfortable but on the back its ok. You have a lock for your luggage right in front of your bed and a small locker inside the capsule so it was very convenient in that aspect.
AAlashanmengIt's an 8-minute walk from the JR station. The proprietress is enthusiastic and has a good family atmosphere. It's surrounded by commercial streets. It's very close to Himeji Old Town and a 5-minute walk. It's suitable for solo travel.
LLiuqiuTake the north exit of Himeji Station and walk for five minutes to get there. However, some rooms are close to the railway and very close to the Sanyo Department Store. Shopping is very convenient and the price/performance ratio is relatively high.
GGuest UserLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.
IIrene SheApart from the water supply issue in the room, the rest are perfect. The breakfast was good, and the night views from the hotel was spectacular. The water supply in the room was too slow, and I had to go to the public bathroom for brushing teeth. The staff offered to upgrade us to another room, but we don't like the 2 single beds room so we decided to stay in the one King bedroom that we reserved.
CcchayyThe hotel is located near the station, it's then possible that you could hear the sound of trains pass by. Room was clean, size is ok for a solo. There're 2 options for dinner and you can choose when getting a coupon at the reception
JJonathan Tak ShingMy wife and I stayed at a Japanese-Style Room with Japanese Cypress Open-Air Bath on the Terrace. The hotel has English speaking staff who was very friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were amazing, and the servers Mr Shiraiwa and Ms Yamaguchi provided excellent services. This is one of the best onsen ryokans we have experienced, and we look forward to returning.
ZZhaowenIt is a little far from Himeji station, so is it inconvenient when the weather is bad? However, there are convenience stores and McDonald's nearby, so it is convenient. The facilities are aging, but other surrounding hotels are similar, and I didn't use the large communal bath or free food and drink this time, but it's a good deal, so I definitely want you to use it. orz
GGuest UserThe building was extremely old and poorly lit; the reception area, the guest rooms everything felt dim and gloomy. The room slippers were not disposable, which I found unhygienic, so I couldn't bring myself to wear them. Since my room was located right near the elevator, I could clearly hear the sounds of people walking in the hallway; furthermore, even while inside my room, the conversations from neighboring guest rooms were so loud that I couldn't get any sleep at night.
