I had a layover at Haneda Airport before heading to the US and needed to stay a few days, so I chose this hotel since it's very close to the airport! The hotel isn't huge, but the room was compact and clean, perfect for a solo traveler like me, and I slept really well! One day, I didn't even leave the room and was perfectly happy just staying in! There are convenience stores and good value-for-money restaurants nearby. Getting back to Haneda Airport is super easy, with a direct subway line to Terminal 3. You can also get directly to Ginza, which is incredibly convenient! I love this hotel and will definitely come back! The service was excellent; everyone at the front desk and the cleaning staff were so nice!

Arrived at the hotel before check in time. The airport shuttle was on time, found the pick up timetable on their official website. When we arrived at the hotel, we were not able to check in yet, had to drop off luggage at the hotel. But the luggage storage area was full, luckily the hotel staff walked past and was able to help us store our luggage safely.
We went out after dropping off our luggage, the walk to the metro station was around 5-10 minutes. Streets were quiet along the way.
We returned at night to check in. Assisted by the robot and dinosaurs at the self check in counter. Check in was fuss free. There was no staff manning the counter. But there was a phone next to the counter to contact the staff if any issues encountered. We used the phone to contact the staff to collect our luggage after checking in. Amenities were placed in the shelf next to the lift lobby.
Booked a room for 3 pax. Was given a corner room with 3 beds. Room was small, had to find ways to open 3 luggages. No TV in the room, but there was a projector, managed to connect our mobile devices to the projector to watch shows. Only issue we had was that there wasn’t enough plugs in the room.
Check out process was also done through the self service counter. Shuttle bus back to the airport was quite crowded in the morning. But the interval was short.

I specifically booked this hotel to catch an 8:30 AM flight. It's very close to Haneda Airport, and there's a shuttle bus every half hour. The staff were very helpful with luggage, and their service was excellent. It only takes 10 minutes to reach Terminal 3 from the hotel, which is super convenient. Plus, there are two 24-hour restaurants right across the street, so finding food is really easy.

The guesthouse had a great location and was clean enough. However, it was quite disappointing that there was no hairdryer in the room, and slippers, which were mentioned in the guidebook, were also missing. These are things that travelers shouldn't bring and should be provided.

The Airbnb was great! It’s conveniently located near a train station with an elevator and escalators, which was very helpful when traveling with luggage and after long days of walking. There are a 7-Eleven and FamilyMart nearby, along with many restaurants, including ramen spots. The neighborhood is quiet, making it perfect for a good night’s sleep.
Cons:
There is no elevator in the apartment building, so carrying luggage up and down was difficult. The shower was a bit hard to figure out at first, but using Google Translate and some trial and error helped. The bathrooms became quite humid. There was also a random kitchen light at night that was very bright and bothered us while trying to sleep, but we covered it and that solved the problem.
Overall, a good stay.

This hotel is perfectly located, just about a 5-minute walk from Haneda T3 terminal! If you're arriving by flight, you'll find it on the Arrivals (到着) level. If you're coming from the city via the Keikyu line, head to the Arrivals level first. Look for HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN/羽田空港花园 (as shown in pictures 2-3), go inside, and just keep walking straight. There are many shops along the way, perfect for picking up souvenirs. Eventually, you'll see a Lawson convenience store, and the hotel lobby is right behind it. The distinctive decorative pillar (as shown in picture 5) is quite beautiful~ The room wasn't huge, but we only had one 30-inch suitcase for two people, and we were able to open it and place it comfortably. We chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next morning and didn't want to get up early in the city. Plus, you can enjoy the hot springs (public bath)! As someone from the south, this was my second time trying a naked hot spring experience after Yangzhou, and I even got to drink the milk that's often seen in anime after a hot spring bath – truly a dimension-breaking experience. In summary, this hotel is indeed excellent in all aspects and highly recommended for business travelers! What I especially want to share and praise is the hotel's service – it's incredibly humane and considerate! When checking in, you can use the self-service machine – it supports Chinese, just scan your passport and fill in your information. The room provides wet/dry slippers, toiletries, and even loungewear/pajamas if you plan to visit the hot springs. We had a last-minute request to add a person to our room (a friend who was with us at the hot springs couldn't get back to their accommodation in the city due to a Yamanote Line service disruption that day). The hotel doesn't seem to have triple rooms, and there was no space for an extra bed in our current room, but the front desk, even late at night, responded very promptly and responsibly to our request. Ultimately, they moved us to a slightly larger room and added a bed! While we waited, they proactively contacted us to update us on the progress and estimated waiting time – honestly, if my colleagues at work were this reliable, I'd have no worries! All in all, my stay at Villa Fontaine this time far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely lean towards choosing this place again when I visit Japan in the future! P.S. Before booking, I saw on Xiaohongshu that this hotel has a seal-themed room, but I couldn't find it anywhere on Ctrip, or even on their official website 😢

I flew from Hokkaido to Haneda for an overnight stay, with an early morning flight the next day. So, I didn't get to use many of the hotel's facilities. However, there's one thing that truly stood out: the free shuttle bus service to and from the airport and Kawasaki Station. It ran perfectly on schedule, exactly as published, and the drivers were incredibly polite, professional, and even helped with luggage. The instructions for taking the shuttle on the hotel's website were also very accurate. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a boarding pass; make sure to keep it with you, as you'll need to show it to the driver whether you're going to Kawasaki Station or the airport. Besides catching the shuttle on time from the designated spot at T2 upon arrival, I also took a ride to Kawasaki Station after checking in. From Kawasaki Station, I took the JR to Ueno Park, which cost 440 yen one way, passing through famous stations like Shinagawa, Tokyo Station, and Akihabara along the way. In the evening, I returned to Kawasaki Station and caught the last shuttle back to the hotel exactly at 10:45 PM. The next morning, I took the first shuttle of the day from the hotel to the airport at 5:20 AM, again, perfectly on time. This kind of reliability is incredibly important for travelers. Next time, I'll definitely plan to stay for a few more days. A big thank you to all the hotel bus drivers! 🌹

Great
KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
GGuest UserReally enjoy my stay here, the location is unbeatable since it's walking distance to many metro lines, the staffs are very friendly and accommodating, the onsen is also very clean, the juice bar in the morning and bar in the evening were also great touches. There is only one elevator but I didn't find it to be a deal breaker, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. There’s a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.
GGuest UserHere's a review of a hotel located in the heart of Akasaka, offering easy access to two subway lines. It's a quiet business-boutique hotel with more spacious rooms than similar establishments, making it ideal for commuting to the city center or exploring Roppongi/Akasaka.
**Key Highlights (Reasons to Choose This Hotel):**
1. **Dual Subway Access + Central Akasaka – Convenient for Anywhere:**
* Approximately a 4-minute walk to Akasaka Station and a 6-minute walk to Tameike-Sanno Station, covering multiple lines for easy access to Ginza, Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station. Haneda Airport is about 45-60 minutes away.
* Within walking distance of Roppongi, Tokyo Midtown, and Akasaka Sacas, boasting vibrant shopping and dining areas. A 7-Eleven is conveniently located downstairs, making daily life easy.
* The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, making it a better option for rest compared to Shinjuku or Shibuya.
2. **More Spacious and Well-Designed Rooms Than Other Japanese Hotels in the Same Category:**
* Standard rooms are approximately 15-18 sqm, larger than most business hotels in Tokyo, allowing two large suitcases to be opened without feeling cramped.
* Comfortable bedding with memory foam/low-rebound pillows. Bathrooms feature bathtubs and smart toilets, with stable water pressure and temperature. Amenities are comprehensive.
* Good natural light, with most rooms feeling bright and airy. Cleanliness is up to Japanese standards.
3. **Practical Facilities, Suitable for Long Stays/Families:**
* A coin-operated laundry room is available on the 12th floor (washing 300 JPY/drying 100 JPY), and microwaves are on multiple floors, friendly for long-term guests.
* A small, complimentary gym on the 3rd floor is a bonus for business travelers or fitness enthusiasts.
* Cribs/children's amenities can be arranged, making it family-friendly. The front desk offers multilingual service, with fluent English, and handles luggage storage/package receiving efficiently.
4. **Consistent Service, Thoughtful Details:**
* The front desk staff is enthusiastic and professional, responding quickly. Small items like chargers and hair straighteners can be borrowed, with some guests reporting feeling 'valued'.
* Free high-speed Wi-Fi is stable. Some periods offer guidance.
GGuest UserI liked this place. A pretty standard classic capsule hotel: sizeable capsule with a console, daily turnover service, large shower and onsen room with an attached steam room. Service was good: they have an army of twinks working there after hours, it was like being checked in by BTS. All issues I had with my capsule (broken lightbulb) were addressed quickly and cheerfully. Sometimes it kinda seemed like they were laughing at a few of the foreign guests, but you know what, fair. This place is kinda rules heavy, with lots of notices posted around the property. There is no eating or drinking in the capsules, and instead you have to go to this common area that feels a bit like a hospice for abandoned uncles. Vending machines, manga library, smoking cubicles, that sorta thing. Clean and tidy though, equal numbers of dudes using it for remote working and day drinking (I have a feeling that some ppl live in this place). They have the usual elaborate system of lockers and keys, but they will store your luggage for you while you are out. No need to check out in the day. Overall a chill experience. While I was staying there though some dude did have a mini breakdown about what he saw as it's shortcomings, so I just wanted to comment on that. According to him the place was disgusting. He was especially perturbed by the housekeeping service and the showers. His claim was the the toilets were dirty and that it was unacceptable to fold bedsheets on the floor. Mind you, he was having this rant at 10:30 - checkout is at 10:00, meaning that a whole stampede of airport-bound weebs had just taken spicy ramen fuelled power dumps so they could get out of there on time. Most of the day the facilities were pretty spotless in my opinion. In regards to folding the bedsheets on the floor, I dunno what in the Disney princess he was expecting, but there really isn't anywhere else to do it. I think it's unreasonable to expect little doves to come fly your linens into your capsule tbh. The capsules are literally on... the floor! What do you want? His overall complaint that the space was generally messy was a lot more valid. At this point I had a suspicion that they kind of segregated foreigners from Japanese customers. It's true, that the foreign floor was a bit of a tip - luggage thrown around, empty bottles everywhere, garbage. I went up to the Japanese floors to snoop around a bit. Spotless. (Pictures of both included for comparison) In this case I think the call is coming from inside the capsule, not really fair to hold the staff accountable to your own messy manners. His final gripe was about the showers - specifically the lack of private cubicles. Private cubicles were not advertised anywhere and Japanese onsens are pretty standardly communal spaces, so again I dunno what he wanted. Maybe a shower, with a curtain? Maybe a shower with a door? Maybe a shower with a psychic forcefield that would make his ex girlfriends forget his underwhelming junk and prevent his father from behind disappointed in him? I'm not sure. But I guess the dozen shower stations with soap, shampoo, and face wash weren't cutting it. In fact a lot of the Western guests seemed pretty pranged out by the shower situation, waiting until like two am to wash up and then scurrying around the baths with a hand towel infront of their package like a little purse. If you regret going bald, that's on you. Kinda silly, but if you are bashful maybe this also isn't the hotel for you. Unreasonable though to blame the establishment for you own shame. Anyway, that's all to say the worst part of my stay was for sure the ranting and raving from an unshowered backpacker while I was trying to have a lie in. Otherwise a pretty decent stay.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a typical budget option with nothing particularly memorable about the stay. Basic amenities were provided, but not well maintained — the soap and shampoo came in small sachets and were not consistently replenished. The pillow was quite small and overly soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at the 9h nine hours Akasaka. The pods were comfortable and clean and the location was very convenient. However, the common space for eating was really small. The locker space was very crammed. They also won’t store your luggage after you check out so if you’re planning to do something on between the check-out and your flight/train you need to take your luggage outside.
AAlex WchGood location and room is spacious.
Do select the right number of person to stay otherwise you may get charged for extra person per night.
Hotel tax is required to pay upon check in.
Staying for longer days required to put cleaning required notice otherwise room may not get clean.
