KKTKXFirst time staying at a Dormy hotel inn and super impressed with the level of hospitality for the price!
1. Public onsen and sauna are available on the top floor. Gender segregated with both indoor and outdoor (rotenburo) sections and the usual amenities. Only the sauna is closed overnight, the onsen remains open. Washing machine and dryer are available on 12F too. The washing machine is free, the dryer is not.
2. Free refreshment once you're done with your onsen. Ice cream at night and probiotic drink in the morning.
3. Free serving of ramen (yonakisoba) at night from 21:30-23:00. Head over to the restaurant at 2F.
4. Breakfast buffet is available and it was honestly quite decent for the price.
Would stay at Dormy again if I return to Japan 😊

SShilindianzanWe were a family of three traveling to Himeji and stayed for three nights. We initially booked a Hollywood twin room, but found it wasn't suitable upon entering. After discussing it with the hotel staff, we were able to switch to a 27-square-meter standard room, which we were very happy with. The staff were extremely helpful and kept bowing. What we liked most about this hotel was its location. Looking at Google Maps, there are about 50 restaurants within a 1km radius, and it's only about a 5-minute walk from Himeji Station. In short, the location is unbeatable. It's also very convenient to get to Engyo-ji Temple; one bus takes you directly to the final stop. Oh, and a special mention for breakfast – 800 yen for children and 1800 yen for adults. It's definitely worth trying!

MMK LohBreakfast buffet ( included in the hotel price) is very delicious with many varieties, especially freshly squeezed fruit, vegetable juice, fruits like apples, pineapples, mangoes which were not available in my previous hotel at Toyoko Inn at Fukuyama.
However, my only problem was my knee issue ( chronic joints pain) as it was a bit difficult due to pain to get onto the elevated bathroom in the room.

GGuest UserRoom is small. Stayed one night and over the weekend hence the room rate was high. Also it coincided with the marathon. There was free parking which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The hotel staff are not very conversant in English and it is not near the city centre. There was however a very big supermarket nearby where we could pick foodstuff for our journey up north. Came back to Himeji a week later and this time I stayed at a hotel located in the city centre where there are a lot of parking around it.

SShanghai waiker the 3rdAlthough the building is a bit old, it's a clean hotel with a good sense of tidiness, so I think it offers good value for money. The area around the south exit is convenient with plenty of restaurants. It's a shame I couldn't use the late-night snack service because I returned to the hotel too late. For breakfast, I went to Hamamoto Coffee, a famous local cafe.

GGoh Yue YaoI give 5star although its 12min walk away from station because its so near shops and castle. Service i also give 5star because they let me leave my luggage before check in time.. but be sure you be there before 10am. Its quite old place. Rooms at second floor. I like it they let me choose the empty space i wanted instead of assigning any bed to me..

Rooms are TINY, like scandanavian homes, but everything was clean and fresh, staff were outstanding, we could store out bags before and after our stay, missing personal articles available for free downstairs. Clear rooftop vie of the castle so you don't have to leave the hotel for beutiful shots of the castle. Near a huge gorgeous, covered pedetrian only walking are. Only sorry to have had only one night here.

GGuest UserLocation is really close to train station which I like. Lots of food options around. Himeji castle is a 20 minute walk but you can opt to take a bus if you have walking issues.
The bathroom and toilet is separated. Towels and amenities such as soap, shampoo, toothbrush, and moisturizing lotion are provided.
To be honest we didn't know how to operate the bath pool/jacuzzi, but it was already full when we got there so it was nice. There's a windowsill which allows you to peek inside the soaking area so that was funny. If you're with your spouse it wouldn't matter though.
