"I was a bit worried seeing the mixed reviews online for this hotel, but I booked it anyway because the price was really good – a single room for less than 300 RMB a night. Turns out, the location is super convenient. Tenmabashi Station has two subway lines and the Keihan Railway, which can take you directly to central Kyoto. You can also take the Keihan Railway to visit Nakanoshima in Osaka. Apparently, there's even a direct train from Kansai Airport, but I didn't catch it because the timing didn't work out. The hotel entrance has some steps, but you can call staff for help with your luggage. Toiletries are self-serve, and the best part is the free water available – that's a nice touch. The room facilities are pretty standard for a Japanese business hotel. The room felt a bit dry, and I couldn't find a humidifier in the common areas."

There's a subway station and bus stop right across from the hotel's main entrance, so public transport to anywhere is a breeze. Osaka Castle is within walking distance, and various shopping malls are just across the street from the hotel, making shopping super easy. The room size is generous, quite spacious for a Japanese hotel, so you won't feel cramped during your stay. The only downside is that the hotel's breakfast only offers Western options with no Japanese dishes, which might be a bit disappointing for travelers hoping to experience a traditional Japanese breakfast. Overall, it offers great value for money and is a top choice for accommodation when traveling."

"This was my third time staying at your hotel, and due to personal reasons, I ended up staying for 20 consecutive nights this time. The hotel's basic facilities are quite comprehensive; the room had an air purifier, microwave, and sink, and the space was sufficient. There was plenty of storage with a safe, cupboards above and below, and even space under the bed for belongings. Towels, toothbrushes, and other amenities could be replaced by staff upon request, and the room had no unpleasant odors. What the hotel lacks is that the air conditioning in the room is too noisy and needs improvement. Just outside the hotel, on Sakaisuji Road, there's a Sugi Pharmacy store that sells a variety of food items like chocolates and biscuits, which are tax-free, and you can even get a discount if you spend over 10,000 yen. I've stayed at three other hotels in this vicinity, and yours offers excellent value for money and is definitely worth recommending."

"The room has all the ingredients - single and non-one shoes, pijama-kimono, razor blades, watt sticks, hairdresser etc. all you can imagine. The hotel is quiet, the neighbors are not heard. Staff is friendly and responsive. 10 minutes walk from the Castle Hotel in Osaka with a park, very beautiful. Of course the room is small but it is a feature of many rooms in Japan"

"The rooms are much larger than traditional hotel rooms. There are two bedrooms, each with a single bed, and a Japanese-style tatami room. Although none of the individual rooms are big, they are sufficient. There's also a small living area with a large dining table. There's plenty of surface space for your belongings. You take your trash and dirty towels down to the first floor yourself, and the front desk provides clean towels and trash bags on demand. Be aware that the front desk isn't 24-hour; it has specific operating hours. The area around the hotel is quite quiet, with mostly commuters passing by. There's a convenience store on the corner and many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Now for some downsides: the air conditioner in one of the three bedrooms wasn't working. The microwave looked like it had been 'blown up' by a previous guest; the turntable at the bottom was crooked, and there was a large, dented area on the top interior, yet it was still in use. The freezer compartment in the fridge had a thick layer of ice. While there's a washing machine in the room, there's no laundry detergent; you need to buy it downstairs. Despite these shortcomings, it's a good value for the price, and I would still consider staying here again."

"The room was quite spacious, with one large bed and one small bed, perfect for a family of three. The service and cleanliness were good, but they only clean every three days, claiming it's for environmental reasons. That's a bit ridiculous, as other hotels clean daily. Breakfast was included, which was a plus, though there wasn't much variety – just enough to fill you up. Otherwise, I was very satisfied; it's a suitable place to stay."

"I really liked the hotel. The staff was helpful, informative, and answered all my questions. The room was cozy, with a small refrigerator, a double bed, and air conditioning. There was a large desk and chair. The location is excellent, close to a park and the subway. Among the additional features, I took advantage of the luggage scale (available at reception) and the luggage transfer service from Osaka to Tokyo (the price was reasonable, and they promised fast delivery, but it's best to confirm the delivery date with reception). In my opinion, the location of the power outlets is a bit awkward, but there are plenty in the room. The entrance is visible from afar: it's next to a huge arch."

"I had good experience at Royal Park Canvas Hotel in Sapporo last year. Therefore this time in Osaka, I chose the same brand again. This Osaka Royal Park Canvas hotel’s standard remains high. Overall cleanliness, room upkeep and location are ideal. I like the idea that this hotel is in business district which makes it less crowded and quiet. Yet there’s a family mart right next to our hotel entrance. We enjoyed visiting it every night during our stay. I highly recommend Royal Park Canvas hotel’s chain. The little setback I experienced was one of the front desk staff is not friendly and showed me a frustrated face."

"Excellent value for money! The hotel organizes various activities to liven things up. At breakfast, you can enjoy the scenery while savoring your meal. The location is incredibly convenient, whether you're heading to Shinsaibashi or the subway station, and there's a great variety of restaurants nearby. We had a very comfortable and relaxing night at Tokyu Stay Osaka Honmachi. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit Osaka."
