GGuest UserThis hotel has an excellent location — right in front of Hisayaodori Subway Station Exit 4, which made getting around extremely convenient. There’s also a 7-Eleven just next door, and right behind the hotel is a lively district filled with restaurants, cafés, bars, supermarkets, and malls. It connects directly to Oasis and Sakae, so everything is within easy walking distance. I chose a shower-only room since I rarely use a bathtub. The sink being located outside the bathroom was actually a plus for me, as it provided better lighting for makeup. The room also had a large window, which made the space feel more open and comfortable. One of the main reasons I didn’t use the shower much is because the hotel has a really nice public bath. It’s very comfortable, with both indoor and semi-outdoor areas. I absolutely loved this facility — it was definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel also collaborates with a luggage courier service that can send your suitcase to a building next to Nagoya Station (not directly inside the station), which is very convenient. I booked a room with breakfast, and although the selection was simple, everything tasted really good. There were real, hearty dishes, soup, some Western options, as well as desserts, coffee, and tea — all complete and very comforting. Some of the menu items also changed daily, which I really appreciated. I was very happy with the food overall. The lobby is beautiful, with high ceilings, large windows, and very comfortable sofas. The staff were generally helpful, but I did encounter one issue. Aside from 2 staff members (who I believe may have been of Indian descent), the Japanese staff did not speak English. While I understand this can happen, I think having basic English skills would be very helpful, especially since this hotel accommodates many international guests. When I asked about the luggage courier service, I felt like I was being passed around between staff. Another staff member came out to assist, but unfortunately, they also did not speak English and did not attempt to use a translation app. Instead, they tried to explain using pen and paper, which made the situation quite confusing. I felt there was very little effort to communicate clearly, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It has great facilities and an unbeatable location. I hope the communication aspect can be improved, as I would definitely stay here again when visiting Nagoya. Thank you!

AAnonymous UserOverall, this was an excellent hotel experience. The environment was quiet and very clean, especially the bed, which left a lasting impression. The bed was large, and both the mattress and bedding were exceptionally clean, which isn't always the case in hotels, making for a very peaceful night's sleep. One small detail truly stood out: the slippers on the first day weren't quite right, but after cleaning on the second day, they were replaced with a more comfortable pair (I'm not sure if this was a deliberate adjustment by the staff, but it definitely left a positive impression). Also, when I accidentally stained the bedsheet, the cleaning staff handled it incredibly thoroughly and efficiently, for which I'm very grateful. The hotel also offers a variety of items for rent, such as different types of pillows, curling irons, garment steamers, and bottle openers, which is very thoughtful for travelers. The front desk service was consistently polite and attentive, making me feel respected and comfortable throughout my stay.

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay. 1. The front desk staff were excellent, very quick and professional with the check-in process. 2. The breakfast selection was rich, though at certain times it could get a bit crowded and require a short wait, but this was a minor issue. 3. The room was spacious, clean, and offered great views of Nagoya city. This definitely deserves a big thumbs up. 4. There's a convenience store just a 2-minute walk away, and Don Quijote is only 5 minutes away, which is incredibly convenient. Every aspect of my stay was great, so of course, I signed up for a membership.

AAnonymous UserMy main goal for this trip was to get some good rest, so I specifically chose a room on the side away from the main road and booked a more expensive top-floor room. Before checking in, I even requested a corner room, hoping to have no neighbors on either side, but the hotel said they couldn't arrange it, which I totally understood. In terms of soundproofing, if you're on the top floor and not facing the road, it's genuinely very quiet overall. With the windows closed, you basically can't hear any outside traffic or even the normal activities of neighbors. The only exception is if there are kids next door running around loudly in their room, then you'll definitely hear some noticeable noise. I experienced that firsthand this time. However, for those who prioritize convenient transportation, this hotel might be something to reconsider. It's not particularly close to a subway or train station, requiring about a 15-minute walk. If you're dragging luggage, especially in summer or on a rainy day, it can be quite a struggle. In comparison, many hotels near stations in Nagoya offer excellent value for money. I chose this place purely for the peace and quiet and the quality of rest. From that perspective, it completely met my expectations. If I visit Nagoya again and my primary goal is still rest, I would likely choose this hotel again. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to travelers like me who value sleep quality and a quiet environment.

AAnonymous UserI came for a concert, and the hotel is right behind Niterra, so it was super convenient to just step out. It's also very close to Kanayama Station, which made shopping and getting to the airport easy. For Japan, the room size was decent and had all the necessary amenities. The lobby offered free coffee, and they even thoughtfully wrote a message for concert-goers.

LlinniiPerfect for short stays. Located near Nagoya Station - making taking JR/Shinkansen and the subway very easy. There’s plentiful restaurants around and the capsules were rather comfortable. Things to note is that they are unable to store luggage and you need to be out of the capsule rooms between 11-3, you can stay in the L10 lounge if you need somewhere to rest. They have lockers for you to store your stuff and is locked via. a QR code. The locker area is a bit tight for space but will be fine if you don’t stay for long-term and need to sort your luggage constantly. The showers were decently sized and there were enough bathrooms for use provided that it’s not rush hour. Overall, the experience was good and I would definitely stay at another 9h hotel for its price, comfort and convenience c:

GGbooThis is a Meitetsu Inn property, so the rooms are on the smaller side, with typical Japanese unit baths. At night, the street below transforms into a vibrant, neon-lit entertainment district. The location is excellent, very close to Nagoya Station and Nagoya Castle, and right by Hisaya-odori Subway Exit 4, just a five-minute walk away. The breakfast on the first floor, though simple, is quite good. The restaurant offers complimentary tea and coffee all day (until 9 PM) and has a microwave. Vending machines are located on the 4th and 11th floors. There's also a self-service laundry. Amenities are available for self-service right next to the elevators on the first floor, facing the front desk. The front desk service was the most 'Showa-era' (old-fashioned, warm, and attentive) hospitality I've ever encountered – incredibly friendly. Perhaps because it was a Saturday, the price I paid seemed to be about double the usual rate. However, overall, it offers great value for money. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe facilities were comfortable and clean. The bed was relatively short/tiny even for a short person like me (153cm). I really liked how the staff would ensure that lights would be closed by 10PM. Staying near Nagoya station meant that there were bus terminals and every train type to access to easily. I also really liked the free flow for drinks (coffee/tea/water hot&cold). There were bowls and utensils to use for food as well. While staying on the highest floor, having an elevator was really nice. Despite this my stay was quite inconvenient. All of the amenities cost 50-600¥. I had to rent a towel and after checking out the baggage storage was 600¥ to store from 10AM-11PM. When I arrived at 1PM to check in or at least leave my luggage, the hostel was closed. Luckily the accommodation was only 7min away from Nagoya station and I could leave my luggage in the coin lockers. One really inconvenient at least for the ladie’s dorm was the baggage corner and the size of it. It was not allowed to keep bags within the bedroom (understandably). However I had a lot of baggage and the baggage storage corner within the same floor was really tiny and cramped. I used double the time than normal to unpack and repack because I had to bring stuff that I needed for shower and to the bed. At the same time I had to dodge people coming in and out the whole time. For some reason in the morning the bedroom door was kept open and I don’t know if it’s part of the rules, similar to the switching off the lights at 10PM. I’ve had a more convenient stay with similar cost in other places in japan with free amenities. This was really disappointing :/

CChennianwangshiThe location is quite convenient. However, the single and double rooms are the same size, which makes them feel too cramped. The breakfast is decent, but it gets incredibly crowded, with queues extending all the way to the elevators. The environment is chaotic and the management needs to improve to avoid such long lines.
