Guest UserIt is an apartment with 2 floors. One double bed bedroom and a bathroom with shower are on the first floor. On the second floor, there is another double bed bedroom with a sofa bed, living room, open kitchen and a toilet. We are family of 3 with a teenage girl, so a double bed bedroom with a sofa bed is perfect for us. The apartment is sparkling clean, the kitchen provides cooking wear and table wear. However, there is no cooking oil, paper and salt.
We enjoyed staying there.

Here we go!Y’s hotel is an excellent stay in Asahikawa if you’re arriving at the Asahikawa airport and starting your road trip. Right outside the hotel is the main Asahikawa station and the airport transfer bus is just right at the door step. No rush in catching the bus for your plane. Just across the street is the car rental which you can easily pick up/return your rented car.
Hotel also has a very nice Onsen facility that you can enjoy all through the night while waiting for your laundry in the coin laundromat.

Al-GaibHotel Route Inn Grand is a decent hotel that meets basic expectations. The 'Grand' version, being a step up from the regular Route Inn, fulfilled my minimum requirements for accommodation. I've stayed in at least four of them across Hokkaido, and they're consistently neither surprising nor disappointing. That day, I visited Shikisai no Oka in Biei, which was absolutely beautiful.

Toyoko Inn is a chain hotel, and I've stayed at this brand many times while traveling in Japan. Basically, all the facilities are the same, the service is consistent, and the prices are reasonable. It's neither surprising nor disappointing. The only downside is that the breakfast is really ordinary, but it's acceptable since it doesn't cost extra. This Asahikawa location is close to Heiwa-dori, making it convenient to find food and shopping. It's about a 10-minute walk to Asahikawa Station. Overall, I'm very satisfied. The only downside is that there are only two washing machines and dryers, so you have to wait until late to use them when fewer people are using them. If you're planning a trip to Asahikawa, this hotel is worth recommending.

The breakfast was one of the best in our trip. It had fresh Sashimi seafood, grilled salmon and a lot of varieties of foods. The miso soup and corn soup was so delicious. I enjoyed a lot of ice cream and soft serve. The room was good, a little bit narrow for 3 people but it had everything we needed. The onsen was good and not so crowded. Overall, we like the hotel very much.

The location is excellent! Everything I wanted to visit was nearby, plus there are tons of great restaurants and shops in the area. It's also not far from Asahikawa JR station. Choosing this hotel for my first trip to Asahikawa was a smart decision. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

Hotel Crescent is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. Very professional and nice staff, even the cleaning people make an effort to manage their noise if they know someone is still sleeping in a room, which is above and beyond. The staff at Crescent kept my luggage for a long time when my return trip got delayed which was a huge relief. The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed. Crescent is just a really friendly place where you don't have to worry about anything. Their website explains their ”Kaizen” philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel. This is the kind of hotel you end up becoming a better person because the staff is so professional and kind. Thank you for a great stay and for being one of my favorite places in Japan :)

I spotted the hotel I booked right after crossing one traffic light from Asahikawa Station – it's really close. Across from the hotel is a large Aeon mall, which is super convenient for shopping. On the first floor, there's a big fresh food supermarket, and around 8:30 PM, sushi and other items often go on half-price sale. Right next to the hotel is the liveliest local shopping street with all sorts of restaurants.
Because it was a weekend, a double room cost 800 RMB per night. For a more remote area in Hokkaido, that's quite expensive. On weekdays, it would be around 500 RMB, which is more reasonable. This hotel used to be called Eian International Hotel, but two months after booking, I suddenly received a text and email notification saying it had changed to KOKO Hotel.
One thing about this hotel that's a bit unreasonable is that they only clean the rooms once every three consecutive nights. You have to leave towels and trash bags outside your door yourself. Plus, starting this April, they've been charging guests a 300 yen accommodation tax. For two people staying three days, that's 1800 yen in accommodation tax. But they charge this fee while also simplifying the cleaning service – it's just speechless. On the plus side, the cleaning staff here are Japanese, unlike in bigger cities where you often find Nepalese, Indian, or Burmese staff.
