bonbonjinExcellent! This hotel is very popular, and the front desk staff are well-organized and all speak English. I had my luggage sent here from my previous hotel in advance, and everything went smoothly. The triple room was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. It's just a 5-minute walk to Queen Square and about 5 minutes to Mark Is. Across the street is an impressive art museum, and the view from the window is wide and open. This was the most satisfying hotel during my Tokyo, Izu, and Yokohama trip.
Breakfast was pretty good.
My favorite part was the shampoo – it left my hair incredibly soft and voluminous after washing.

j,kThe location is fantastic! It's right in the city center, less than a 10-minute walk from the Osanbashi Cruise Terminal. The hotel is also directly connected to Odori Station via the subway, which was a lifesaver on hot days as we barely had to walk outside. Yamashita Park and Chinatown are both within a 10-minute walk too. The hotel environment and service were absolutely impeccable. The third photo was taken from our room, showing the cruise terminal.

Guest UserThe hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, situated right in Yokohama's bustling Queen's Square. The check-in desk is on the second floor, and downstairs there's direct access to Minatomirai Station. I booked a high-floor bay view room on the 21st floor, and the views are incredible, overlooking Minatomirai Bay. There's an amusement park right below, and the night view is stunning. The room itself is spacious enough, with comfortable bedding and ample space. The toiletries are a local brand, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Red Brick Warehouse and close to several other attractions. They also offer a shuttle bus service to Haneda Airport, running approximately every 40 minutes, and if you miss it, public transport is also very convenient.

Erik ChiangI recently had the pleasure of staying at the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, especially for travelers looking to explore Yokohama or needing easy access to Tokyo. Being right next to Tsurumi Station makes it incredibly easy to get around without relying too much on taxis or long walks.
The room itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Though not overly spacious, it made efficient use of space, ensuring a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless.
What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of both Japanese and Western options, which was a great way to start the day.
If I had to find any fault, it would be that the hotel is located in a quieter part of Yokohama, which might not suit everyone's taste. However, for me, it added to the charm and made for a peaceful retreat after busy days of sightseeing.
Overall, I highly recommend the JR-East Hotel Mets Yokohama Tsurumi for its comfort, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. It offers excellent value for money and is a fantastic choice for anyone visiting the Yokohama area.

The location is quite convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk from Yokohama Station to the hotel. If you take the subway to Shin-Takashima Station, it's even less than a 3-minute walk, though the hotel entrance can be a bit hard to find.
The hotel environment is comfortable, and since it's on a higher floor, you can enjoy beautiful views of Yokohama.
The lobby offers free coffee and tea bags. Most importantly, there's a public bath, and you can even check the availability of the three washing and drying machines on your room's TV, so you don't make a wasted trip.

When I came to Yokohama during my trip to Japan, I chose a hotel near Minatomirai. The check-in experience was good, and it's not far from the station. There's a convenience store downstairs, and water dispensers and ironing facilities in the hallway. The breakfast was filling and delicious. It's a great place to stay while traveling. Getting to Chinatown or Yokohama Station is also quite convenient.

The location is really convenient, perfect for a layover hotel if you're transferring from Haneda Airport to Osaka or Kyoto. It's only a 400m walk from the Shinkansen station, and there's even a 7-Eleven inside the hotel. However, the downside is that there's a lot of street noise from cars revving their engines at night, and the soundproofing is extremely poor.

BunjinIt was a comfortable bed that came with a TV and headphones, everyday fresh loungewear and towels would be provided and there was a large communal area with sinks and vanities. However, you will be asked to leave the hostel or wait in the reception lounge between 11am and 4pm. The receptionist I spoke to had a high level of english.

Since it was my first time making a reservation, I had some trouble getting into the room, but they responded quickly so there was no problem. The accommodation fee was cheap, so I was able to spend more money on sightseeing. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and parking lots nearby, so it was comfortable.
