Honestly, it's pretty good. The location is excellent, right on Wyndham Street, so transportation is very convenient. There's a pharmacy directly opposite, and it's a short walk to Commercial Bay. Breakfast is a decent buffet. If you're traveling solo from Auckland Airport, taking the SkyDrive bus for $23 to the Sky Tower stop is very close to the hotel. However, if there are more than two of you, it's better to just take a taxi; it usually costs $50-60. If you can find a taxi coupon on Ctrip, you can even get a taxi from the hotel to the airport for $40, which is what I did.

The decor is beautiful and stylish. The first floor (not the ground floor) has a kitchen, seating areas, and a cinema room where you can relax, sit or lie down – the atmosphere is really great. There's also luggage storage on the first floor for 6 NZD for four hours, with an extra 1 NZD charged for each additional hour. They also offer different rates for a day, a few days, or a week.
The only minor inconvenience is that there's no place in the bathroom to put your clothes or toiletries; you have to put them on the floor. Sometimes I'd forget my room card when going for a shower, which made getting back into my room a bit awkward. It would be better if they used keypads or didn't require a card to enter the bathroom.

The hotel is old , needs to be renovated. There is no ramp for disabled and luggages for entry to the hotel lobby, stairs only, however there is elevator from the lobby to all rooms. The carpet has smell which I suspected that there must be mold infestation, but the location is good , with restaurants and convenience store around. About 15-20 mins walk to Skytower Auckland. Easy for tour pick up and drop off point.

The room was spotless, and we had a fantastic view of the Sky Tower and the harbor right from our window. It was wonderfully quiet too. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful – definitely enough to start your day right. The hotel is super close to the Sky Tower and St. Matthew's Cathedral, and it's an easy walk to the harbor, Queen Street, Auckland University, and the public library. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, patiently using translation software to communicate with us. We took the bus from the airport and got off right at the Sky Tower, and the hotel was just a short walk from there. Very convenient!

The location was great, short walk to the harbour, shops all around, the staff was friendly, could leave bags before check in, small kitchenette included for basic meal prep. Bathroom is small and not for everyone but we made do for the two nights we were there. Can’t complain for the price and location.

Great location and very friendly staff. The room aslook a loitertired and could do with a refresh but clean and tidy . We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was really good. Breakfast had everything we wanted and had a perfect egg white omelette. Will definitely be back next time we are in Aukland

Excellent stay, highly recommend!
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Indigo. The beds and pillows were absolutely amazing some of the most comfortable I’ve experienced while traveling. The location was perfect, making it easy to get around and explore the area.
What really stood out was the customer service. The staff was warm, professional, and incredibly helpful from start to finish. The hotel itself was also very, very clean, which I truly appreciated.
Although we didn’t eat at the hotel, everything else about the stay exceeded expectations. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend Hotel Indigo to others.

The hotel's location is great, right next to the Sky Tower, and it's about a ten-minute walk to the pier. Parking isn't very convenient unless you opt for valet service ($60). Self-parking is $35, but you can only enter and exit once. It took me almost half an hour to park! 😂 The first time I drove into the garage, a staff member told me I needed to use a different entrance, so I had to drive all the way around again. The parking lot is huge and shared with the Sky Tower. After parking, you take an elevator to the fourth floor of the Sky Tower, walk across a skybridge, then take another elevator to the hotel's first floor to check in. 🥲 It'd be quite a hassle if you have a lot of luggage, but of course, valet parking would solve that problem, haha. The hotel itself is very new, the breakfast is good, and the service is excellent. We had a bit of a 'drama' during check-in, but the staff handled it well.

Relatively new hotel located beside Queenstreet. Many restaurants nearby and walkable to Sky Tower for the Bus to airport. Staff are friendly and hotel is secured at night (main doors are locked). Hotel Breakfast is nice but quite repetitive and lacking in variety.

Great
GGuest UserI have been staying at the Novotel at Auckland Airport for many years on my way back to Australia.
Only once have I been dissatisfied so was very pleased with the service and kindness shown to me on my stay on 6th April.
I am now ninety three so having a convenient room on the fourth floor near the lift such a big plus .
Certainly can pass on my pleasure of my stay to many of my friends.

AAnonymous UserBest hotel experience ever. Everything is nice, clean, well equipped. Staff even gave me advice on how to get to the airport. Have free shuttle to city centre near the harbour. Really enjoyed food and drinks in the club lounge a lot. Breakfast was nice too, with a great variety.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is great for city walks, and it's not far from the Sky Tower. The room itself isn't very spacious, but the bed is large and comfortable. The bathroom, however, is quite roomy and comes with body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, and a disposable shower cap (outside of China, disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers are rarely provided). The water pressure is excellent, making for a pleasant hair wash and shower experience. While the breakfast selection isn't extensive, it's still pretty good. There are no complimentary bottled water in the room, but filtered water is available in the hallway. The hotel's parking lot is quite small.
GGuest UserWe booked a room with breakfast and dinner. We arrived at the hotel at 8 PM, just in time before dinner service ended. The hotel dinner truly blew us away; there was so much food that two adults and two children couldn't even finish it all, and the quality and taste were superb. There was also a great variety of fresh fruit. The next day, we went to a fruit shop and regretted not having packed up the last remaining fruit from the hotel. I've already recommended this hotel to friends, and I'll definitely choose it again next time I visit Auckland.
LLingerbaobeiThe room had a beautiful view, and the balcony door could be opened, but you couldn't get out because there wasn't enough room to stand, which was a shame!
The only downside to the room was that if you opened the refrigerator and didn't close it immediately, or if you closed the door too slowly, a speaker on the ceiling would suddenly start making noises in English. Since my English isn't good, I couldn't understand a word they were saying, and it was terrifying! I felt like I was being spied on, and I didn't even know I was changing clothes. Was there any CCTV in the room? It was quite frightening, and I'm afraid to extend my stay.
CCarla J HappMy husband and I stayed here just for a night. The room was clean and tidy, looked a bit old though inside compared to the flashy lobby. Was disappointed that no one gave us a heads up before checking-in about the air conditioning not working. A fan was provided though so thank you. However, we still couldn’t sleep well, it all felt quite stuffy even with the windows open throughout the night. I woke up with a blocked nose, still feeling quite tired and my husband’s allergies kicked in so he kept sneezing. Parking is available at the hotel for an extra fee however it’s pretty cramped, need to be very cautious while driving into and out of the parking area.
GGuest UserIdeal solution for a late arriving flight, easy and simple with a spacious, well-appointed room. Excellent value for money, especially with the shuttle included. The food was the only disappointment, with a chicken burger being $25 but not having chicken breast patties like should be standard for this price-point - instead it had cheap orange-coloured crumbed minced ”mystery chicken” patties.
GGuest UserFriendly helpful service, unit was clean and tidy, bed was basic but comfortable. shelf for soap and shampoo etc would be helpful in the shower. external noise was easily heard within the unit.
Overall was comfortable and meet our needs.
GGuest UserAero Ak AP: It is a tired and inexpensive facility that has the essential items present ie. comfy mattress, clean, ironed sheets, effort made to present the room well, tv plus it has generous, off street parking. The service was pleasant. Restaurant available. No air-con, in-room plates, cutlery or microwave. Having a door to the verandah was a highlight.. They provide transport to get to the airport 14 minutes away. .
Hhuangbo2008Located opposite the Manukau bus station and train station, the transportation is convenient. The room is clean and tidy, and the kitchen can be used for cooking.
