Hotels near Lisbon Old Town, Lisbon

A joyous hotel. The bed was very comfortable, clean, the location was very good, there was a subway and train station next to it, and it was very convenient to travel. The front desk was very welcoming, especially Alicia and Ramon, so that the solo traveler felt like going home. Very recommended!

Booked a family room. There were no trash bags, tissues, or even toothpaste and toothbrushes in the room. Luckily, there's a supermarket across the street, which was convenient for buying essentials. They didn't restock the tea bags or coffee in the room during our several-day stay; we had to ask for them every time. However, the location and price were quite good.

The location was fantastic, right near Liberty Avenue, perfect for walking around and shopping. The triple room wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy, and the staff were friendly. I originally booked thinking there was paid parking available, but it turned out there was an issue with the car park, so we couldn't use it. This meant we spent our first day driving around looking for a spot. Parking in the city center is quite complicated, so we ended up using an underground car park beneath a commercial plaza. They charged every 15 minutes, and it cost over 37 euros for one night! Luckily, the next day was a Friday, and from 7 PM on Friday until Sunday, parking was free.

The hotel locates at the city center of Lisbon and quite near to many of the tourism sites. It is convenient to reach anywhere by walking or by taking public transportation from the hotel. The service is quite good and the room has everything that it should have.

The room was clean. It was a Hollywood twin room with soft beds and two types of pillows, two of each, plus two extra cushions. There were power outlets by the bed, and light switches on both sides of the bed. The shower was handheld, but the drainage was poor. Be careful, as the water will overflow towards the toilet if you keep it running. There was no shampoo or conditioner, only a combined soap dispenser. The male staff member at night was completely unfriendly. The location was convenient, just 200m to the above-ground entrance of Baixa-Chiado station and a 2-minute walk to Tram 28 stop. The mobile signal was bad, so the hotel's Wi-Fi was essential.

The facilities are really good, the hotel is very well located (facing a viewpoint overlooking the city), and everything is designed with the traditional hostel traveler in mind. The breakfast is also very good and varied. After that, as always, it depends on who you end up sharing a room with. I would definitely choose it again if I'm looking for a hostel.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms weee tidy and clean, floors were a bit squeaky but nothing too bad, and the staff were extremely friendly and chill- they gave me advice on the spots I should hit in Lisbon, and played FIFA with me! Too bad the shower was kind of cold, otherwise it would have been a straight 10/10 rating.

Everything was perfect! The studio was in an excellent location — close to everything and easy to get around. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Alex was super nice and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend Lisbon Studios! 🌟

Good location ! 3 minutes to subway station, 20 minutes to town center another 10 minutes walk to water front ! The breafast is good but the bathroom is too small !! Freindly and helpful staffs.

I spent a 5 nights at My Story Rossio and here are some of my thoughts: PROS: - Excellent location. Hard to beat this prime location. It's at the heart of the city with lots of things to do in proximity. There's also a Metro station across from it so you can take the subway directly from the airport. - Nice decors and overall pretty clean. CONS: - The biggest issue I had during my stay was the poor structure of the building leading to disturbing loud noises. During housekeeping hours, the door to the cleaning supplies kept being slammed. Every time it was slammed, my whole room shook and I jumped up. I called the front desk asking if they could be more gentle with the doors. I was told that that was the way housekeeping was and to call back only if it still happened after 5pm (after housekeeping hours). It was impossible to get any rest during the day. I understand that housekeepers need to do their job but I wonder if this issue could be fixed simply by changing the door hinge to a slow close hinge. Also, in the middle of the night, I would wake up by the creaking noises of people above me when they walked across the room. - Second issue was the thermostat. It was not adjustable and could only be controlled by the front desk. For some reason, the hotel decided that all the rooms needed to be in heating mode during the night. It was so hot and stuffy that I was not able to sleep for many nights. I had to call the front desk in the middle of the night to turn it off but sometimes it would automatically switch back on. Then I requested to have the cooling instead of heating on but it would be too cold at night and there was no way to dial it myself. So throughout my stay, it would feel like being inside either a sauna or a freezer.
