MMaria The Beverage GoblinLovely hotel! The hotel is 10 min walk from the old twon. Our room was very clean and spacious with great shower! The staff are incredibly polite, welcoming and friendly. The staff from cafe at the front went out of their way to get us vegan cake in the evening. The bar staff was lovely as well and drinks and food reasonably priced. The breakfast had good selection for anyone including nice vegan options. Definitely try the vegan strawberry cake, it was the breakfast highlight for us.
As they are renovating spa we couldn't use the hotel ones (we will have to come back to try). They offered options nearby but we opted for a different place for our massages in the end.
Overall great stay and we will definitely come back.

Opened in 1886, the building is beautiful, the rooms are luxurious, and it is located in the city center. There is also a massage service in the room, and the charge is about HK$760 for two hours, which should be considered cheap in Europe

The rooms are a true highlight, exhibiting a harmonious blend of luxury and comfort, with plush bedding, state-of-the-art amenities, and breathtaking views of the vibrant city of Istanbul. The culinary offerings at the hotel are exceptional. Each dish I tried was a dance of flavors, paying homage to the rich culinary heritage of Turkey while also offering a variety of international cuisines to suit every palate. CCeline ArgyropoulosThe stay was really great! the communication was smooth. The flat is clean and has everything one needs. I would ask the owner to consider adding a small trash bin in the bathroom, for women who need to dispose of certain things, without having to go back to the flat (my flat had a completely separate private bathroom, so I had to go through a small corridor to go back and forth, but this corridor is protected by a main door and gives access to only the flat and another one). The second suggestion would be to leave a roll of plastic bags, for the bin in the kitchen.
The location is a bit far from the center, so if you want to stay for a short period, I would advise another location (it takes around 30min to get to the center). The area is rather quiet, although Bucharest is known for the heavy traffic (and, apparently, many speed drivers and cars with tuned exhausters?).
The washing machine and the drying rack was a very nice bonus, they even leave some pods to do two loads. overall really great!

The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's amenities made our stay even more enjoyable.
A special mention goes to the receptionist, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She provided us with amazing suggestions for places to visit in Romania, turning our holiday into an incredible experience. Her local knowledge and enthusiasm made all the difference, guiding us to hidden gems we might have otherwise missed.
The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that catered to all tastes. It was the perfect way to start our days of sightseeing.
The hotel's location is very convenient, with easy access to Bucharest's main attractions and public transport. Whether you're in town for business or leisure, Mercure Bucharest offers a welcoming and comfortable stay. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

LLaammThe hotel certainly have some history but everything is so well maintained and cleaned, the room looks just like the photos they show.
You need your card to press the lift and get in the floor hallway, which adds an extra layer of security. The hallway has a pleasant smell.
The staff are very welcoming and willing to answer questions.
The station is near underground metro and numerous bus stations, you can find public transports to most tourist sites.
It was a pleasant stay and to get this experience for such affordable price I would say I definitely under-paid.

I got 4th floor room .. windows on the top, so no view and air conditioning installed in a way that never will cold the room.. and not functioning properly. Theain entrance is uncomfortable.. you need to pick the keys in another place and it was not advised. ( i had lucky because another person was arriving at the same time and he collected his before..
But the WORST is the UNSAFE entrance in a small dirty full of pipi and ugly people with an ex night club beside ( but I think they still use the place behind doors. No safe for a solo women travels.. see the picture

GGuest UserGreat value for money. Excellent location, comfortable bed, very clean and quiet room. You couldn't hear a fly. The only minor issue was that there was no toilet paper anywhere, and the shampoo dispenser in the bathroom was completely empty. But I would recommend it for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much.
