"Had a wonderful one night stay for my birthday. Was kindly upgraded to a high floor with stunning balcony views, and left a cake and bottle of fizzy. Room was large, comfortable bed and extremely quiet. Bathroom was large with powerful shower. Hotel staff were polite and efficient. Recommend to all, hope to return ."

"Excellent location, right in the center but away from the noisy areas. Everything is easily accessible on foot. It's situated in a small square, which is convenient for taxis to drop you off right at the entrance. The aparthotel is new and tastefully decorated. The room is spacious with a mini-kitchen. The bathroom has a large shower (though the door opening inwards is a bit awkward). The sheets smelled wonderfully clean. They provide small individual portions of shower gel and conditioner, useful for a few days. The staff are friendly. The spa is nice, but the pool water was a bit cold. Overall, definitely recommended."

"The apartment was very easy to reach from the airport by public transport, with a bus service running 24 hours a day. The self check-in process was also very simple and convenient. I was initially worried because I arrived around midnight, but everything went smoothly. The hosts responded very quickly and were extremely helpful and cooperative. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a late arrival. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

Special mention must go to Daniel, the bell boy, whose dedication to guest satisfaction went well beyond his duties, setting a remarkable standard for hospitality. The hotel's layout is thoughtfully designed, making navigation effortless for guests coming and going throughout their stay. Its pristine cleanliness and classical architecture create an atmosphere of refined luxury that perfectly complements its historical surroundings. Location-wise, the Grand Hotel Continental could not be better positioned. Stepping out of the main entrance, guests find themselves directly on Bucharest's main thoroughfare, with an abundance of restaurants, shops and cultural attractions within easy walking distance. The city's finest museums are mere minutes away, making it an ideal base for both leisure and business travellers. Whilst the breakfast was available, we found it rather expensive for what was offered. However, this was not an issue as we discovered a charming café directly across from the hotel that provided excellent morning fare at more reasonable prices. The rooms maintain the classical elegance found throughout the property, with comfortable furnishings and all modern amenities one would expect from a hotel of this calibre. The attention to detail in both the public spaces and private rooms reflects the hotel's commitment to maintaining its historic charm whilst providing contemporary comfort. In conclusion, the Grand Hotel Continental Bucuresti offers a superb hotel experience in the heart of Romania's capital. Despite the breakfast pricing, which is easily remedied by numerous nearby alternatives, the hotel's outstanding service, perfect location and classical charm make it a splendid choice for anyone visiting Bucharest. A truly commendable establishment that I would heartily recommend to fellow travellers."

"Perfect spot for a Bucharest city break! The location is unbeatable—right at the edge of the Old Town, making it a 5-minute walk to landmarks like the Stavropoleos Monastery. The vibe is exactly what you expect from a Moxy: modern, energetic, and very social. The rooms are a bit compact but super clean and have everything you need for a short stay. "Good location, newly renovated room, in an abandoned building, there are cockroaches, and the manager has a fierce temper. I renovated a room in an abandoned building. The whole corridor and the next door are gloomy and scary (Pictures 1 and 2). In the morning, a cockroach stayed on the toothbrush. I booked three nights at a time, and for some reason they received two orders. The manager asked me to change to a room that was half the size and more terrifying deep in the corridor, or move to a more terrifying building 9 minutes away (Picture 3). Good living memories. Those who are not afraid of ghosts can bring insecticide to check in, after all, the price is cheap."
