"The hotel is a boutique hotel. Actually, there are two buildings behind the Catherine Church: one called Catherine Palace and the other Catherine Arts. They are operated by the same company, and the front desk is also the same, with similar prices. If you want a room with a view of the church, I recommend Catherine Palace. Regarding room types, if you have two large suitcases, be sure to book a comfortable room of 20 square meters or more. I booked a room of 20 square meters or more, which was generally okay. The bathroom was a bit small, and the plumbing was quite old. I stayed for three days. As for the smell that some people mentioned, I think it's because the hotel uses some kind of disinfectant that doesn't smell very good. Also, the hotel is quite deep, and the ventilation isn't very good. The lack of exhaust in the bathroom might have caused some odors. I opened the windows to ventilate during the day when we were out sightseeing, and there was no smell when we came back at night. The hotel has an excellent location. It's right next to Nevsky Prospekt, next to a metro station, and diagonally opposite Kazan Cathedral. The hotel breakfast is also very good, with plenty of hot food, vegetables, meat, eggs, milk, porridge, and fruits. You can eat your fill and go out. The only downside was the hotel's Wi-Fi wasn't very good. My Honor phone couldn't connect to the network, but my companion could. I don't know why. We had to use our own mobile data. Check-out was super fast, and getting the check-in certificate was quick. Overall, it's an average hotel, but it's relatively affordable on Nevsky Prospekt."

"Great location! The breakfast, though small, was of good quality and the service in the breakfast room was excellent! However, they might have been trying to be helpful but it backfired! Seeing that we had a child, they added an extra bed for us (or perhaps gave us a room with an extra bed). I slept on that extra bed, and I'm not sure if it was the bedding or the pillow, but in the morning, my arms and the back of my neck started to itch. By lunchtime, the itching was uncontrollable! Luckily, we were flying home that afternoon, otherwise finding a doctor there over the weekend would have been a real hassle!"

The location is excellent, within walking distance of several attractions: the Winter Palace, the Admiralty, and especially St. Isaac's Cathedral, which is just 200 meters away. The pool is free until 4 PM, and the room was clean. -: When checking out at 12 PM, I took my belongings from my room on the 4th floor and brought them up to my friends' room on the 7th floor. Somehow (it's unclear how or where), I ended up missing a turtleneck and a top. They never made it to the 7th-floor room. I contacted the reception, and they said they didn't know anything about it, and the housekeeper claimed there was nothing left in my room. They didn't even let me go back into the room. It's a very strange situation; these aren't earrings that could be easily lost unnoticed. Overall, the hotel is good and I recommend it, even though I'm still left with a bad taste in my mouth."

"Rest with children, ordered for a couple of nights with breakfasts, breakfasts are very satisfactory, the location of the hotel is excellent, all in the pedestrian accessibility, to the Kazan Cathedral to go 5 min. The whole historical center of St. Petersburg was walking. From 8-30 you can leave your luggage and go for a walk, settlement in 14. Near the Kazan Cathedral there is a dining table Tare working from 8 a.m., very delicious and not expensive. We have breakfast for a family of 4 people for 1054 rubles."

"This is a relatively new hotel. On the first day of our stay, we received complimentary fruit and flowers. We paid 1000 for a room including breakfast for two, and the breakfast selection was decent – bread, congee, chicken nuggets, cheese, yogurt, coffee, and tea… However, I have to complain about the service, which seemed untrained. The leftover fruit wasn't cleared even by the third day, and towel replacement was inadequate. We hung up the towels that needed changing, but the toiletries weren't refreshed, and the room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned at all. How exactly are the staff trained?"

The location is superb too; the hotel is right on the Fontanka River, a tributary of the Neva River, and it's just a seven or eight-minute walk along the river to Nevsky Prospekt."
