Overall satisfactory, but the duplex is actually very inconvenient. You have to go downstairs to go to the toilet at night; but the location is excellent, the Winter Palace, the Blood Cathedral, and Nevsky Street are all walking.

Anonymous UserPros: Excellent value. Very close to the train station, convenient for those traveling in and out of Moscow. Nevsky Prospekt and the metro station are both very close, and the Bull Restaurant is just over a 10-minute walk away. I bought a three-day St. Petersburg pass, which made bus and metro travel very convenient. The hotel was very clean, with a bar on the first floor offering free snacks. The breakfast was excellent, with hot dishes suitable for Chinese palates. The family rooms also had kitchenware, allowing for cooking vegetables. The staff were also very friendly, and the front desk spoke English. On my last day, I had to catch a train and had breakfast at 7:30, which they readily agreed to.
Cons: The hotel is difficult to find. After exiting the train station, go past two traffic lights and into a small alley, turn right. There's a bakery on the corner, next to a bank. There's a small white door (see the third picture, the small door next to the green shop). Ring the doorbell and go up to the second floor to check in. The hotel is a converted old building, so there's no elevator.

A perfect hotel in an unbeatable location, right next to St. Isaac's and the Winter Palace, close to the cruise ship terminal, and a short walk to Nevsky Prospekt. Almost everything is within walking distance. The decor and amenities are excellent, with beautiful architecture and décor. The toiletries provided in the room are also good. Highly recommended.

alises87Great location, right next to the subway with tons of cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfasts are quite good, they even have champagne! However, the guacamole tasted a bit off, like it had gone bad. We couldn't find any eggs, or maybe we just missed them. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

milkelephantThe large, floor-to-ceiling windows offer a stunning view of the quietly flowing Neva River, with the Aurora cruiser nearby and the Winter Palace and St. Isaac's Cathedral in the distance. Bathed in the evening glow, it felt like a glimpse into the glory of 18th-century Tsarist Russia.

Guest UserGreat location, just a 15-minute walk to Moskovsky railway station. The hotel is right in the city center, but tucked away in a courtyard, off Nevsky Prospekt itself, so it's very quiet and free from traffic noise. All the bars and entertainment spots are nearby, and the metro and all major attractions are within walking distance. I stayed here several times a few years ago, and the quality and service level remain consistently excellent. Highly recommend!

Malkov AlekseiWonderful hotel. Even though the facade is currently undergoing renovation, we were given an upgraded room on the 6th floor (the facade is covered up to the 5th floor) with a view of the main street. Our room had both a shower and a bathtub, which was very convenient. There was even bath salts provided. All toiletries, including toothbrushes, were available. Hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, a safe, and a refrigerator were also in the room. Breakfasts were à la carte with 3 options, very filling. Good coffee, pastries, and fruit. Housekeeping daily. They even gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary. The hotel's location is ideal. I would definitely be happy to stay here again.

We stayed for 3 nights in Saint Petersburg. So 1) location: The hotel is in a quiet locality and is almost unrecognizable. Does not look like a hotel from the outside 2) Staff support: The staff speaks minimal english 3) Service: The hotel does not have breakfast or a restaurant, but there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance (10 minutes), so workable; and the elevator makes quite a noise, but it's workable/safe. 4) Overall experience: Bad - Mediocre: No one helps you out with the luggage, even when they see you are struggling. I am not sure if that is the norm here in Russia. no courtesy, no support/ no extra help for any sort. I guess kindness is chargeable in Russia. Not just this hotel, every hotel we stayed in Russia, I saw no one helping families or even asking for help. Just cold, transactional behavior.

Ana_leela_gameRating: 7/10. Top location, but mind the shared facilities!Pros: Unbeatable location just 3 minutes from Moskovsky Railway Station and the Galeria mall. The loft-style design looks great, it’s clean, and the Wi-Fi is fast. The contactless self-check-in via electronic keycodes works seamlessly. There is a cozy shared kitchen area equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, tableware, and complimentary tea/coffee.Cons: There are only 2 toilets and 1 shower for 7–8 rooms. When the place is fully booked, waiting lines are inevitable, which can be frustrating. Soundproofing is weak due to thin walls. Check-in and check-out times are strict (strictly from 2:00 PM and before 12:00 PM respectively). Since it's fully contactless, early arrival or late departure is hard to arrange, so plan your transit carefully.
