"1. The cleanliness was acceptable; at least the bed sheets and duvet covers looked clean. However, be aware that if there are personal items on the bed, they won't make up the bed. 2. I wasn't used to the duvet; it was very thin, and the duvet cover was too large. If two people were sleeping, it felt like the duvet inside would slide around. 3. The bed was very soft, not a firm one, and the pillows were just okay. Honestly, I didn't sleep very comfortably. 4. It's extremely, incredibly poorly soundproofed. You can hear everything happening in the hallway clearly. It's fine for a quick overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer visit. However, we chose it for the price; it was the cheapest option we found after comparing all prices – three nights over May Day cost 1038.77 RMB including tax. So, we made do. 5. The room windows couldn't be opened. If you came back sweaty from sightseeing, and left the room overnight, it would smell a bit funky (your own body odor) when you returned the next day, because the air circulation was poor. You had to rely on the air conditioning's internal circulation. 6. A special note: without an electricity key card, as long as it's in the slot, power will continue to be supplied. (Exclusive tip!) 7. You don't need a different charger head; domestic chargers work fine. 8. There's usually a Mandarin-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was generally good. 9. Our Wi-Fi stopped working once. I called the front desk from the room phone (simple English communication), and someone came to check it out after about 20 minutes. 10. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I've included a picture of the street corner 10-grid, a rooster I encountered in Wuzhong, and the last photo is the check-in notice from the front desk, mainly about connecting to the Wi-Fi. 11. Also, and most importantly, they don't provide bottled water. There's a special filtered water dispenser in the room where you can get filtered water. Hope this helps everyone."

"The service that the hotel 81 star premiere is so excellent especially ms. Mary Joy and other staff are so considerate among all hotels. The hotel is nearby bus, taxi and MRT also nearby different restaurants and grocery. I also like the cleanliness and separate lavatory outside the toilet. That's why many tourists love to consider and promote the hotel."

"First time in Singapore, and the sea breeze was incredibly refreshing. The cloud formations created such a beautiful atmosphere, and the post-shower scenery was truly therapeutic – it made my trip absolutely perfect! This hotel offered great value for money and was very comfortable overall. I have to give a special shout-out to Korin Yilin from the staff. They were so friendly and enthusiastic, even sharing local attractions and food recommendations. Following their advice saved me a lot of hassle during my travels. The room layout was a bit small and minimalistic, but perfectly adequate for sleeping and resting. The only minor downside was the lack of slippers, which was a little unexpected. Overall, it was a very positive experience. The small imperfections didn't detract from my overall good impression. Next time I'm in Singapore, I'll definitely choose to stay here again, bringing my own essentials."

"I had a great stay at Hotel 81 Premier Hollywood and would definitely stay again. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I arrived earlier than expected after a long journey, and Elvin gave me such a warm welcome and kindly allowed me to check into my room early, which I really appreciated. The room was exactly as pictured — compact, but with everything you needed. There was space to hang clothes, sit down comfortably, and the coffee facilities were a nice touch. Most importantly, the room was bright and very clean, so thank you to Liv Zhen for keeping everything spotless. Even though I only stayed for two nights, I still received fresh towels and coffee top-ups, which was an unexpected bonus and very much appreciated. The road the hotel is on looked a little unkept at first and initially put me off slightly, but after a short 2-minute walk you’re right in the middle of the hustle and bustle with loads of late-night food spots, convenience stores, drinks, and snack options nearby. While the hotel isn’t directly next to an MRT station, there are plenty of buses close by, making it really easy to get around Singapore and visit all the main attractions. It’s also only around a 20-minute taxi ride to the airport, which was very convenient. Overall, a really pleasant stay with excellent service and good value for Singapore."

"I didn’t think this would be my best stay in Singapore. I was able to have a comfortable sleep and the other guests were courteous and quiet at night. The young lady at the desk was able to check me in and accommodate me upon my late arrival, she also asked me several times how my stay was and I appreciate such service for how basic of a place this is as I stayed in a hotel that was four stars after that didn’t even give me as good of services here. The only awkward part is the co gender bathroom. There was even a family staying here with kids for some reason but thankfully they were not bothersome with noise. Close to MRT and plenty of food. Complimentary simple continental breakfast was a nice surprise too."

"Cleaner and visually nicer than I thought (Didn'tknownit was under Hotel81 tbh, so expect a no-frills kinda room), especially the toilet - love it!! Staff (I think is his name is Tate Fay) was a very nice guy in terms of the hospitality service - helpful and outgoing enough without being too in your face. Location was not bad though not the best cos everywhere seems expensive, but the Sarawak Noodles nearby are good!! FINALLY THE CONS!! IS THE SOUNDPROOFING!! The water flow from the ceiling is insanely loud for people with sensitive hearing!! Sad that the management didn't fix this when they were doing renovations!!"

"This hotel was fantastic, even better than I expected! The room was spacious enough, the bedding was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was lovely too. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, and it was convenient for washing up. Just a heads-up, you'll need to bring your own shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner, and it's a good idea to bring your own slippers. The location is absolutely brilliant! It's not far from the subway station, and the area around is lively and safe. Both sides of the street are full of great food, coffee shops, bars, and tourist spots, all within a 5-15 minute walk! There are so many dining options, it's really a great place to explore. The hotel service was quite good; the front desk staff spoke both English and Chinese, and they offer free luggage storage. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. Great value for money!"
