There's a 7-Eleven downstairs, which is convenient for grabbing necessities. The transportation is also excellent; there's a bus stop right outside with direct routes to Merlion Park and VivoCity. The MRT station is about a 5-minute walk away. This hotel will definitely be my top choice for future visits.

Had a great stay at Hotel Mi Rochor during my trip to Singapore.
What stands out the most is the location — it’s just a short walk from Rochor MRT station, which makes getting around the city incredibly convenient. Whether heading to Bugis, Chinatown, or Marina Bay, everything feels easily accessible.
One of the best parts is the food options around the hotel. There are plenty of local restaurants, cafés, and food courts nearby, so finding something to eat is never a problem.
There’s also a 7-Eleven very close to the hotel, which makes it super convenient for quick snacks, drinks, or any essentials.
The room was clean, modern, and well-organized. Even though the space is compact, it has everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Overall, if you’re looking for a hotel in Singapore with a strategic location, easy transport access, and lots of food choices nearby, Hotel Mi Rochor is definitely a solid option.

In my opinion, the most important point of this hotel is its location. It's quite strategic. Luckily, I got a room at the end of the hallway and there weren't any attached rooms, so it was quiet. I was traveling with 1 large suitcase, 1 cabin size suitcase, and 1 stroller, but the layout was quite good, making it easy to store my things. The room design felt very ‘minimalist’, which is the price we have to pay for a room that's slightly more spacious than hotels of the same class in the area. There were a few whispers of people chatting in the corridor, but they weren't too loud and disturbing.
Park View Hotel is located along Beach Road, a 5-minute drive from the Esplanade and Singapore Flyer. It features rooms with an en suite bathroom. The cosy guest rooms at Hotel Park View are air-conditioned. Each well-equipped room has amenities that include a cable TV and safety deposit box. Some rooms do not come with windows. The hotel offers dry cleaning and laundry services. A 24-hour front desk can assist with guests’ requests. Meals are served at the Art Gallery Café. A wide selection of local and Western dishes is offered. Park View Hotel is a 10-minute walk from Bugis Junction Mall, Raffles City Shopping Centre and Suntec City Convention Centre. Changi International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. Park View Hotel is also a few minutes' walk to Bugis MRT Station, which offers direct access to Changi Airport MRT Station via the East-West line.

Let's start with the location, as that's there the hotel advantage stands out the most.
Within walking distances, you'll find many local attractions and interesting yet cheap food choices.
We admit that the exterior does look worn down and due for a makeover. However, the hotel reception is welcoming and friendly. The room is clean and has everything you'll need for a good night stay. They upgraded my room to one with window and it's rather quiet despite of it all.
The hallway and lobby does look a little aged but the room is still very decent and tidy.
The breakfast is adequate and while seatings it's limited, they do offer outdoor seatings. We are thankful for how friendly the staffs are.

The hotel isn't too far from three different MRT stations, including Little India, so about 90% of the people around are Indian. They require a 100 SGD deposit upon check-in, which they refund on the spot after check-out. I'd recommend bringing your own towel and toiletries, as their shower gel is a 2-in-1 shampoo and body wash. If your budget allows, it's probably better to stay somewhere a bit nicer than here.
With a stay at Hotel 81 Rochor in Singapore (Little India), you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands Casino. The staff were friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The hotel also has a water dispenser available, which was very convenient.
We only stayed for one night, so we didn’t get to use other facilities such as the laundry.
The elevator system from reception to Level 1 is quite unique, but it can be a little inconvenient at times. The hotel is also a bit of a walk from the MRT, which may be less convenient if you’re traveling with children. It is walkable to Bencoolen and Bugis, though Bugis is a bit farther.
Most things are self-service, but overall we had a pleasant stay and the experience was good.

The location is strategic closed to Bugis, Little India, and Kampong Glam areas. The hotel is relying on mobile phone self check in to opening of door lock. While it is good to be technologically advanced, this policy is discriminatory and excluded those without or less competent with smart phone such as the elderly, guests from other less advanced countries, etc. We have seen many instances of guests struggling for check-in. Even a short trip to the toilet or to kitchen, we need to carry a smart phone to open the room lock. And numerous times there would be problem to open the lock. A key card would be much convenient and practical. The room constantly has a mushy smell from the humidity of the aircon, even the dehumidifier offered no help and need constant emptying of the water 2 times a day for it to work.

i kinda don’t know how the hotels cleaning service works. Bcs i think we need to throw our trash and tidy up our bed alone. Maybe it’s written in description i guess? But i didn’t read much the description while i booked the hotel.
Overall it’s all good, clean, fully equipped, app-based checkin and to unlock the room👍🏻

Great
GGuest UserThe Shangri-La Singapore boasts an excellent location, offering a serene and elegant environment with beautiful garden views. The check-in experience is relaxing and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, with a full range of toiletries provided. The overall service is attentive and thoughtful, with warm and polite staff. The breakfast selection is extensive. The only minor drawback is that some facilities are slightly older, but they are well-maintained and clean, which doesn't affect the stay at all. Overall, it offers good value for money, making it a great choice for a trip.
GGuest UserI stayed at Lyf Funan Singapore for 2nights as a business traveller.
The design is fun and colorful, not your typical hotel vibe. The room is compact but works fine, with a private bathroom, and the sink is outside the bathroom which is actually quite convenient. I stayed in a standard room—it’s okay for couples or friends.
The hotel has more of a co-living feel. There’s a shared kitchen, dining area, and even a small workout corner, so it feels more social than a normal hotel.
Breakfast was a bitsimple with limited options, just a few simple dishes and some bakery items. I’d recommend skipping it and eating outside instead.
Location is definitely a big plus. It’s inside Funan Mall, super convenient for shopping and food. You can also easily walk to places like Fort Canning Park (right across the road), Clarke Quay, and Merlion Park.
Overall, nice stay if you like modern design and a lively vibe—just don’t expect too much from the breakfast.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, with a shopping mall right downstairs and Lau Pa Sat nearby, making dining very convenient. The decor is modern, and there's even a small kitchenette. The best part is being able to go up to the 51st floor for amazing views of Singapore.
--chenchen-The hotel is quite new overall, and the location is super convenient. I only stayed one night for a city layover, so here are the pros and cons:
**Pros:**
1. It's very easy to get to all the attractions, many are within walking distance. It's also close to the City Hall MRT station, and popular internet-famous restaurants and coconut milk tea shops are nearby.
2. We checked in with our child, and the staff immediately gave us a little snack bag for the kids. While it's not a family-themed hotel, it made a better impression than some dedicated family hotels.
**Minor Cons (not dealbreakers):**
1. We were given an adjoining room, which made me feel quite insecure. I actually moved the coffee table to block the door before I could sleep.
2. The toilet paper in the bathroom was very sparse! And the toilet flush button was incredibly, incredibly hard to press – you needed a lot of force. We initially thought it was broken.
3. We'd just spent three nights in Sentosa where the minibar was fully stocked and complimentary every day. In contrast, this hotel, at a similar price point, had an empty fridge, which was a bit of a shock. It really hit home that 'it's hard to go from luxury to frugality.'
4. Perhaps it's because efficiency is so high back home, but checking into hotels in Singapore feels incredibly slow. My child kept asking when we would finally be done.
**Overall:** I'd still recommend this hotel for business travelers and tourists.
GGuest UserSurprised about hotel room upgrade from queen size bed to king size bed! Room was spacious enough to put several large luggages together on the floor. The amazing location juz opposite Takashimaya and Paragon and mosque@Orchard Road. The hotel staffs were all very friendly and approachable. Asian buffet style breakfast@Eden restaurant - normally can only find plain porridge but here surprisingly we found delicious fish porridge with no fishy smell! Thank you, Pullman hotel for excellent services.
SSheilaOSheilaRelaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.
Really good rooms with luscious pillows. The tub was heavenly. The pool was packed with kids but enjoyed my time there to sleep, think and do almost nothing. 3 nights.
My only 2 gripes : no smoking room that's enjoyable to be in, and that their coffee is average.
I'll definitely give this a 5 star rating for peace, comfort and joy at a decent price.
GGuest UserOriginally booked this hotel for shits and giggles coz of Anthropic Claude. This place is obsessively clean. I’m talking about the kind of clean that makes you suspicious — like maybe they have a team that just polishes doorknobs all day. Everything is spotless. Even the complimentary laundry room (which, yes, is FREE with detergent pods included) looks surgical. Zero lint. No detergent residue. No mysterious washing machine funk. Just pure, sparkling cleanliness. For someone as particular as me about hygiene, this was an unexpected jackpot. If I could give it 6 stars I would.
Location is solid: walking distance to Chinatown, Maxwell Hawker Centre, Keong Saik Road’s fancy food scene, and two MRT stations (Chinatown and Maxwell). The outdoor courtyard smells like fresh lemon balm disinfectant, which is oddly specific but very reassuring. There’s also a complimentary minibar, which feels generous for a compact room.
The double bed room I booked was small but accurately described during booking, so no gotcha moments. If you’re short like me, the bed’s perfectly comfortable. They’ve maximized storage cleverly: luggage space, safety box, mini fridge under the bed. The courtyard becomes your unofficial living room since the actual room is just… bed.
The Meh
The rain shower is a mystery. I still don’t know how to use it without turning the bathroom into a wading pool. The handheld showerhead has weak water pressure, though the bathroom itself is otherwise excellent. So clean!!! You can feel the MRT rumbling underneath (acceptable noise level), but the real problem is Leila, the bar downstairs. If you’re into nightlife, great! If you’re trying to sleep on the second floor, less great. I could hear thumping bar music until late. Front desk was gracious and delivered earplugs promptly when I asked, so points for responsiveness.
Walking around during rainy season would be a drag.
The Verdict
Would stay again for overnight layover purely for the cleanliness. Thanks for the random pick, Claude (both the AI and the hotel). 🧼✨🤖
AAnonymous UserThe room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and check-in was efficient. The location is convenient for getting around, and overall, it offers great value for money. My stay was very pleasant and I'd recommend it.
JJay Sae LeeWe were going to store our luggage before checking in, but luckily the front desk staff Mr. Faddilli assisted us for an early check in. We were very happy for the early check in. The hotel location is superb and the lobby is very spacious. But there were not much amenities provided for a 4 star hotel. Overall we are satisfied.
AAnonymous UserUgh, I forgot to take photos, so I'll use some random ones instead. First off, I chose this place because it's super close to Universal Studios, and I figured a chain hotel wouldn't be too bad. But the price wasn't exactly cheap – I paid over 480 for a queen room. I know hotels in Singapore are pricey, so this was within my expected budget; I'd already come to terms with the cost. The front desk staff were all really nice. However, my heart sank when I opened the door. The room was tiny, and they don't provide slippers, toothbrushes, or cups, citing environmental reasons... though if you ask the front desk for a toothbrush, they'll give you one. For cleanliness, I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5 – not terrible, but not outstanding either. It's a small room but has all the essentials, though you definitely can't fit two suitcases in there; it felt really cramped. On the bright side, the soundproofing seemed pretty good. I'm not sure if there were no other guests or if everyone was just incredibly considerate, but I didn't hear any noise. Plus, I was so exhausted from sleeping at the airport the night before that I slept like a log. It was the best night's sleep of my entire trip, and I was genuinely shocked that I slept best in the smallest room... Oh, and the shower gel and shampoo are all-in-one, so if you're particular, you might want to bring your own.
Some top places to stay in Singapore are near popular attractions like Orchard Rd, Universal Studios Singapore and Sentosa—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
