Amazing
AAndy Black12349A lovely small, family-run hotel that is spotlessly clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and well-kept, with a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee replenished daily during housekeeping. Its location is excellent, with restaurants and shops just outside the door and also only a 15-minute walk into Saladan. The only minor downside for me was that the bed was a little firm, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

GGuest UserThe reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation.

JJanUpon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. PPPKVWe stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming.

PPedro Jose Hernandez ZarzosaWhat an incredible place! We’re staying at the Twin Lotus Resort & Spa (adults-only during this season) on Koh Lanta, and we couldn’t be happier. The location is fantastic: it’s right on Klong Dao Beach, a super long stretch of beautiful white sand. Even at low tide, it’s all soft sand—no rocks or coral to worry about. In the mornings, it’s pure bliss to walk for miles along the shoreline with the calm sea and peaceful atmosphere. Absolutely lovely. The resort itself is spectacular. Surrounded by tall palm trees and lush tropical gardens, it feels like a real oasis of calm. No kids around (strictly adults only), so you can truly breathe in the peace and tranquility—perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The infinity pool is stunning, positioned right in front of the beach with comfy sun loungers and high-quality towels. You can spend the whole day switching between the pool, the sea, and a shady spot under the palms… heaven! The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive—always smiling, super helpful, and the service is top-notch. Breakfast is excellent with a great variety and everything tastes delicious. In general, the food at the resort restaurants is really good, both in quality and presentation. Honestly, it’s rated as 4 stars, but in terms of experience, it outshines many 5-star places we’ve stayed at before. I have no idea why it doesn’t have 5 stars officially—it’s spotless, beautifully maintained, and the overall vibe is just perfect. If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing spot on Koh Lanta, don’t hesitate—come to Twin Lotus Resort & Spa. You won’t regret it for a second. Highly, highly recommended! 🌴🏖️✨ 5/5 stars, no question.

CCait :)We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Gecko! Any mentions for improvements below are simply suggestions and is highly recommend anyone to stay here It's in a great location, nearby to high quality local restaurants, a large shop with food, drink, toiletries but still tucked away in its own little world. There are several communal seating areas with communal board games (Azul, cards) and books to use during your stay. The bed was big and comfortable, there was lots of space with two seating areas with tables, one inside our room and one outside. We were only provided with a sheet to sleep, rather than a quilt/duvet which was fine for us but some people might not like that. A choice would have been nice I love the ”eco” feel - toiletries provided are great quality and environmentally friendly, instead of daily plastic single use bottles for water, a glass bottle with a water dispenser at reception is provided. Breakfast is generously portioned and freshly cooked. Some more options for vegans would be nice (my partner just had toast and jam everyday) such as tofu scramble, peanut butter or non-dairy yoghurt. The coffee served at breakfast is delicious, unlike most hotels you can pick from cappuccino, latte etc that's made fresh with a proper coffee machine. That was a really nice touch that we enjoyed. The bathroom was nicely decorated and was modern. My only suggestions for improvements would be there are a lot of lights which made it hard to sleep without an eye mask (the sockets emit lights and we couldn't turn the Aircon display off), and the bathroom has a window with no blind/curtain so the bathroom door needed to be closed. Also there are small gaps around the front door meaning we often had small visitors to our room (geckos, millipedes etc). But overall this didn't affect our stay and are very easy fixes. Also a dimmer switch on the very bright bedside lamp would be nice.

IIvan KraljThere are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

GGuest UserI rarely give 10 out of 10 but moonlight deserved. Location is great.North is noisy and a little bit crowd, south is not convenient. Moonlight is in middle of lanta and just near the sea.It has its own beach and there is a wood cabin you can lay down to get massage. Food is good.My package includes breakfast. There are fresh fruits, bacon, yogurt .I stayed 2 days in moonlight ,the 2 days' breakfast is same but delicious . Room is clean and towards to ocean.I booked ocean view room and the view is stunned. Service is 11 out of 10! Staff is very polite and enthusiastic. You can fell everyone is so happy then you'll become happy too.Trust me, moonlight is perfect place to chose.

DDsonTSri Lanta is a haven to escape the crowds, while having enough services around to keep you occupied in this corner of the beach. The rooms are classy and clean, save for a dirty kettle, with daily room service. There's direct access to the beach via a convenient tunnel, which opens up to their pool, restaurant, bar and beach chairs. The bar owner is very friendly and his prices are reasonable to keep you happy for your stay. Shout out to Lisa, the concierge that made our stay a bit more personal and lovely each day
