I booked a deluxe room and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe garden villa. The room was pretty clean, and the front desk staff at check-in were very welcoming. However, the hotel's room service was quite subpar. The room cleaning staff took the tip but didn't replace my toothbrush or pool towel. I had to call three times before they finally brought them over... The service staff at the poolside restaurant were good, but the breakfast staff were just so-so. It's worth noting that you need to place a card on the bed for the cleaning staff to change the sheets; otherwise, they won't. We only found out about this card when we checked out 😂. The breakfast was okay, just average. Eating by the pool with a sea view was lovely, but since it's an outdoor setting, there were a lot of flies around the food. Despite that, I ate there for three days and didn't get sick, so I guess the hygiene is acceptable. The beach near the hotel is beautiful in the morning; the water is very clear, possibly due to the morning high tide. However, in the afternoon, with direct sunlight, the water isn't as blue, and the waves get bigger with more silt and sand. So, I recommend swimming in the sea in the morning and using the hotel pool in the afternoon.

It's a pretty good sunset view on the beach with a cocktail restaurant either. Clean and fresh room good material. I can jump from the bed to the pool 😁 I love it. If you are looking for a great hotel in a good location this is your answer. Oh it's good for kids as well.

A very pleasant hotel thanks to its beachfront location and the pool right across the street. The hosts are incredibly attentive; don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need. The food was good, but the value for money was a little below what you can find on the street just a few minutes' walk away.

A lovely small, family-run hotel that is spotlessly clean with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and well-kept, with a kettle and complimentary tea/coffee replenished daily during housekeeping. Its location is excellent, with restaurants and shops just outside the door and also only a 15-minute walk into Saladan. The only minor downside for me was that the bed was a little firm, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel. two pools! you can close the pool in front of the restaurant or the more private one. We enjoyed our time here, The staff was good and helpful. It's a little aways from the humdrum. its about a 2km meters from Saladan. The hotel provides bike rentals, The rooms are well lit and bright.   its a bit uphill to the rooms but you have a bike its easy peasy. The bed is nice and comfortable. Reception ladies are super nice. They also have onsite massage facilities which are worthy. Prices are the same as in town. would def stay again. The swimming pool is amazing and th restaurant provides great meals. would definitely stay again

Front desk not very welcoming when check in. Did the job checking in and explaining the deposit, room, breakfast restaurant, beach location. Issued us the room key and informed us the room direction, then we realised the check in is completed and we can be on the way to the room (1st time without hotel staff of this type/size of resort bringing us, not a big deal). Strangely one staff did ”pop up” after we left the reception building, offer to bring us to the room. We rejected since we figured we can manage. One good point is we get to check in earlier than the designated time. Room has unpleasant smell when first enter, but got use to it after a day (after house keeping next day). Room size is big, has a bath tub (did not use), a bed room and living room. No TV in bed room, TV in living room but limited TV program. Have two huge pool, one among the blocks, one nearer to the beach. Initial impression was not great, but after a few days, got used and get to enjoy the stay. Good location (good local restaurants, convenient store, laundry shop nearby), great pool, breakfast consider ok but could be better. Stayed during the end of the popular season, resort not crowded. Will I stay again? Yes, for the pool and during low season, less tourists. No, will try out other resorts along the same stretch of the beach.

The staff are courteous and helpful. As soon as I arrived, I noticed the mattress was sagging and uncomfortable, and they immediately offered to replace it with a new one. The location is excellent if you want to be close to shops, services, and the walking street. The hotel is a bit dated but has a beautiful sea view, though the beach isn't directly accessible from the hotel. The tide goes out, making it perfect for a lovely sunset stroll in the evening. The sheets were clean, but the pillows less so; they had a very strong smell, and I had to put a towel over them to cover it. We didn't use the pool because we rented a scooter and explored the island, which has beautiful, secluded beaches. However, we did notice that the pool area was very crowded (the sun loungers), but it was clean. We understand that the price was in line with the quality of the property. The breakfast is plentiful and varied. Overall, it's a great hotel if you want to save some money and be close to amenities.

The room was much better for the price than we had presented. As much clean and for a few days completely enough. You are close to the pier and thus come quickly from the ferry to accommodation and vice versa. Just to see the rest of the island, you need to run something or take a TukTuk. I'd like to return to the price.

Upon arrival at Lanta Triple Novel, we were warmly greeted by the owner, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. His hospitality truly made us feel at home, assisting us with everything we needed. We stayed in the bungalows, which were spacious and well-equipped. There was a clothes drying rack inside and another on the porch—this was the first hotel where we had ample space to dry our clothes. The porch was furnished with plastic chairs and a table, perfect for relaxing outdoors. The bungalow featured a small kitchenette accessible from the porch through a side door, which is convenient if you're planning a longer stay. Inside, there was a small plastic wardrobe for storing clothes and a mini-fridge. The only thing missing was a table and two chairs inside the room, which would have added to the comfort. The air conditioning was strong and kept the room cool. The location was very quiet, allowing us to rest peacefully. The only minor inconvenience was during heavy rain when the metal roof became quite loud. We rented a scooter from the owner at a decent price, making it easy to explore the island. Although there's a restaurant as part of the hotel, we didn't have the time to dine there. Originally, we planned to stay for three days but ended up extending our stay to four because we enjoyed it so much. The location is perfect—it's close to the beach, and there's a 7-Eleven just around the corner where you can get everything you need for your stay. It's a 4-minute drive to Saladan Pier, so you'll have an easy time catching ferries or speedboats for further travel. Overall, our experience at Lanta Triple Novel was excellent. The friendly owner, comfortable accommodations, and convenient location made our stay memorable. GGuest UserThe reviews giving this place give stars as their favorite place are a bit overzealous. The views are definitely spectacular but the deficits aren't lacking. The pros do not justify this hotel; simply that ko lanta is a great destination. Keep in mind: there is no lotion nor conditioner here: curly hair, especially type 4, will suffer. The is no washcloth, phone in the rooms, nor hot tub. Wifi is guarded more than the nuclear football, rooms are certainly worn, there are no USB outlets. For couples: there are definitely young kids here who will never remember the trip, so you may hear crying during breakfast or when trying to get a massage. The maids are neglectful at replacing room amenities, the safe is broken and this place is not vegan friendly. They served me egg in the first dish ordered after recommending I simply let their restaurant know. I did not get the impression that they really understand how to handle dietary needs. The restaurant is awfully overpriced and the food is okay if you even trust the restaurant. Breakfast I stuck to fruit only... I had to go into town for food; Drunken Sailor tasted amazing. Staff friendliness could use improvement. They could at least try to hide their disdain for tourists better. This is expressed with body language and also verbally as we were told false information more than once, when greetings don't even preface with a hello and when staff prioritize chatting with each other rather than assisting a guest. When I asked for Sfiff's name, since nobody wears name badges nor introduces themselves.. to properly greet her. She acted like I was asking for her first born son! They conveniently don't mention that due to Ramadan, there's closed shops and you have to rent a bike to reach the nearest one. That would have saved an hour of time. If you opt in to the hotel taxi service, it will take 3 hours to reach the hotel at 3,000 baht one way. No food or water after a long flight and travel were provided, so please get it from the airport. Google ”Mun Lanta” taxi for 2200 baht taxi via Whatsapp, where they also provide food and water. Furthermore, the system to rent a motorbike is convoluted as you will incur late fees if not returned in time. Why not simply charge for the actual time instead of playing games with late fees and guesstimating return time? This hotel is far overpriced. Get something for half the price, rent a motorbike in town to access better restaurants and the same street. That's my STRONG recommendation.

PPPKVWe stayed at rawi warin for 4 nights in one of the hillside rooms. The room was spacious with a small balcony. The bed in particular felt huge as it was 2 beds pushed together. As other reviews mention, the hillside rooms are about a 10 mins walk away from the main pool. Walking is quite pleasant though as you are surrounded by greenery. And there's a closer hillside pool that has a great view. The facilities were great esp. the main pool which was huge, chlorine free, and very empty past 6pm - we were often the only ones using it in the evening. Also enjoyed the table tennis and pool tables. My only piece of feedback is that the resort could be better lit at night - it was too dark walking down paths/stairs. Loved seeing lizards and monkeys around the resort. Didn't try the hotel food much - there are some good restaurants a short walk away. The stretch of beach attached to the resort was beautiful and good for swimming.

JJana.bJust got back from an incredible stay at Long Beach Chalet in Koh Lanta, and honestly, I’d totally recommend it! The location is perfect — right on the beach with stunning views and epic sunsets that made every evening special. The staff was super friendly and helpful, making us feel really welcomed. Room cleaning was always spot on and right on time, which was much appreciated. We had a blast even in the low season — there’s always something happening, like different shows every night, which kept things fun. The spa was a standout — so professional, super clean, and the massages on the beach were just wow. They also offer yoga classes if you're into that vibe. Their coffeeshop is a hidden gem — great coffee, tasty sandwiches, and an impressive selection of cheesecakes. And the breakfast options…. Delicious and plentiful, perfect way to start the day. All in all, a fantastic spot to chill and unwind. If you're heading to Koh Lanta, definitely consider this place. We had an awesome time!

HHanneMI had an amazing stay at the brand-new Phumala Lanta Seaview Resort! The bungalows are unique, built on stilts amidst lush greenery, with a magical view over the treetops and the coast. Staying here feels like being in a small fairytale, with comfortable beds, modern air conditioning, and a lovely terrace featuring both a bathtub and sun loungers. Between the bungalows, charming lighting in the trees creates a special and cozy atmosphere in the evenings. If any challenges arise, the staff and owner are incredibly attentive and resolve everything quickly and efficiently. The service is truly top-notch! The resort is just a 5-7 minute walk from a beautiful and peaceful beach, and shops and restaurants are also nearby. Across the road, Pad Thai Rock n Roll serves absolutely amazing food, and their staff is incredibly friendly – a must-visit during your stay. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it from four to nine nights. IIvan KraljThere are many good things about this hotel: - located close to the Saladan Pier where the boats dock, and just next door to the night market that offers food and shopping - welcoming and helpful staff (the hotel has no elevator, but the receptionist offered himself to carry my bag to the second floor - free use of washing machine on the rooftop, all you need is buy a detergent in the supermarket nearby (5 baht) - small kitchen if you would wish to prepare some food of your own - vivid lobby brightened up by graffiti, with free water and a small library - rooftop terrace with a hammock, with sadly not spectacular view (the roof of the market is quite unappealing - some graffiti artist should cover that too ;)) What could be improved? - big bed is actually two twin beds connected together. Also, they are wrapped in that plastic which you can feel under the sheets :( - I felt the cleanliness of the room could be on a higher level, especially floors and bathroom - no handsoap in the bathroom (I used the shower gel, but even that one was fixed for the wall, so it doesnt get stolen, I guess?) - just two big towels per room (no small towels, or a floor towel) - even when at maximum, water temperature never gets hot or truly warm - the hotel looks a bit run down, and could use some facelifting. There are holes in the floor of the common area, the bathroom seems unfinished, with exposed walls and some ventilation openings plugged with - plastic bags? - i think key deposit of 500 baht is such an unneeded nuisance in these modern times - cant they just charge you if you lose it?

LLisaM23We stayed here in what was the peak season…many resorts and hotels were sold out in Ko Lanta. The staff are all friendly and genuinely will help and be kind if you are respectful and kind too. The location is perfect. Right in front of the beach and close to cafes, restaurants and local eateries as well as 7/11. The hotel itself has so much potential but it is looking very tired and run down. We stayed in a room that should have had a pool view but all we saw was trees. The room did smell a bit musty at first but this soon disappeared with the smell of sunscreen, and personal fragrances. Previous reviews people wrote about the old, musty towels. This is true. They smell musty, old and are tired looking (bring your own if you can). The beach loungers in front of the pool were perfect each day but it’s a real hit and miss game of who can “bags” a lounger first. Many tourist staying at the hotel would place their towels on the loungers first thing in the morning and wouldn’t even be seen on the loungers until after lunch. In my opinion, the hotel staff need to change this and man it in a different way during peak season. Too many entitled people thinking they own the sun loungers because their shoes were placed next to them 🙄🙄 Overall, if you’re looking for somewhere to rest your head at night, with hot showers, friendly staff, okay breakfast options and mostly clean premises this resort is good. If your more of a person who prefers to spend time inside their resort and looks forward to all the extra amenities then I suggest you try somewhere else 😬

GGuest UserWe traveled as a family with young children and stayed at Chomview Koh Lanta. The room was spacious and big enough to comfortably accommodate four people, which was very convenient for our family. However, there were several issues during our stay. The walkway to the room had no lighting at night, which felt unsafe, especially when traveling with children. We also experienced water shortages, and the room had an unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. The location is quite far from the main road, so transportation is necessary to get around. This may not be convenient for families without their own vehicle. On a positive note, the staff hospitality was good and they were friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel has good room size and kind staff, but improvements are needed in maintenance, lighting, and water supply.
