Just near the World War II bridge, the yard is very comfortable, cost-effective, and parking is convenient. The proprietress is very enthusiastic. Next time I drive to Pai, I will stay here and stay for a few more days.

A wonderful place.
Everything it' s beautiful and clean! It' s a paradise. We eat a nice meal on front to the river so relaxing and the owner and the guy at the restaurant are so lovely.
And to have a hot spring in that paradise oooh it' s something very rare and wonderful.
A part the bed that it was a bit to hard we don't have any complain and it was one of the best hotel that we had been here in Tahiland. We will be back 😊

The room was spacious with a nice little lake view, a big and comfortable bed, and a public pool too.
The room felt kind of old and there were some bugs and lizards at nights but that's a pretty common thing in Pai so I wouldn't complain.
One thing I would complain though is the location, even with a motorbike it takes a pretty long ride to get to the downtown, nearest 7-11 was also a 10 minute ride away. The hotel offered 3 shuttles to the walking street everyday so that helped me the first day when I got in.
One funny thing was that every time when you return to your room with a motorbike at night, the owner's dogs will come and greet you which was really heartwarming, sometimes they would even stay with you at the front of your door but they won't get inside your room so don't worry. They would be really happy too if you feed them 🥰

I stayed at Luxury Farmhouse Pai for seven nights in December. The property itself is genuinely very nice — the setting is peaceful, the design is well done, the photos are accurate, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. You do get what you pay for in terms of the physical space and overall presentation.
Where it fell down for me was the guest experience over a longer stay as a solo traveller. A lot of things felt overly procedural rather than personal. For example, being given breakfast vouchers on check-in and needing to present them every morning felt unnecessary after several days. It’s not a major issue, but it does change how the place feels when you’re there for a week.
Breakfast itself was fine but basic — fruit, rice porridge, toast, and eggs. Perfectly acceptable, just not especially memorable.
I also had ongoing issues with the Wi-Fi in my room. When connected it was fast, but it dropped out frequently, and I often had to switch networks or hotspot from my phone.
Payments for extras were another source of friction. Card payments weren’t accepted for things like laundry, there was no option to run a tab, and when paying cash they often didn’t have change. These are small operational details, but over seven nights they became frustrating.
The biggest issue for me was the scooter rental the hotel partners with. They required either a passport or driving licence to be held, plus a large cash deposit. That’s not something I’m comfortable with, and it’s particularly disappointing given how important scooters are in Pai. I rented from another shop in town that only required a copy of ID and a deposit, which was much more reasonable.
The hotel is walkable to Pai town (around 20 minutes), though a scooter is recommended. I also wasn’t informed in advance about the shuttle service from the bus station, which meant I walked in with luggage on arrival. There was also noticeable noise at night from nearby music, which did eventually stop.
Overall, this is a well-run and attractive property, and I can see it being a great fit for couples or guests wanting space and privacy. For me as a solo traveller on a longer stay, it felt a little disconnected, and several small but important details took away from what could have been a much better experience.

Same as others’ comments there are quite a lot of insects but it is normal for this town. It’s also the reason for us to choose the room on the second floor. There are only two staffs but they are nice and helpful. Good experience for sleep inside the mosquito bar 😆

Nice small resort. Good vibe. Go for the larger villas facing the river. Price difference not not much. They are much quieter. The village villas are not villas but more like a cabin, so not sound proof and packed near each other. Breakfast is modest. Great friendly staff. Good Italian restaurant. Picture attached for both types of villas.

It was an amazing experience if you are looking to stay somewhere wild. It wouldn’t be great for anyone who doesn’t like nature or is scared of animals, but if that’s your thing, it’s perfect. The place is as tidy and clean as it can be inside of a clay house. The owner is really nice and helpful and the location is the most serene you will ever be. It kind of feels like you’re living in the jungle. It’s beautiful, you hear geckos, you might see a snake, there are cats meowing outside . It’s really peaceful, you can chill in the hammock all day but it’s also a walk away from town. And there is HOT water, which always feels like a luxury in these kind of places.

The hotel rooms offer an excellent view to the mountain. The hotel area is also very beautiful, there are comfortable conversations with a beautiful view. The rooms themselves are clean and spacious, the staff are polite.
From the downsides:
1)
Wood fence elements require replacement - you can get hurt. If you travel with children, take note.

Spacious rooms, away from the Main street but you can walk there easily. Many restaurants and shops near by. Breakfast included which was delicious and there’s variety of options. I’m not a breakfast person but I came down every morning.

GGenXพาเที่ยวStaying at Pai Vintage Garden Resort was such a great choice, I wasn't disappointed at all! The room looked exactly like the pictures, and the staff provided excellent service. I really loved the room!
SSyylingDeluxe River View Rooms
The room comes with a lovely river-view balcony, and the location is very convenient — just cross the bamboo bridge and you’ll reach Pai Walking Street.
Breakfast is not included, but there’s a local Thai aunty at the reception area selling traditional morning dishes, which is a nice touch.
A comfortable and convenient place to stay in Pai!
GGuest UserI definitely want to come back with my wife next time to relax and swim. We stayed for three days and tried to extend for another day, but it was fully booked. The breakfast was also great. For a 4-star hotel, it's incredibly good value for money!
SSTANISLAV GERASIMOVWe stayed for 2 weeks in December-January. The bungalows are simple and small, but we were comfortable enough. It has a cozy, quiet, rural atmosphere, and it's a 5-7 minute scooter ride to the center. The staff were friendly and brought coffee and cookies every morning! There's a microwave at reception. On the downside: the water heater is old, and you only get hot water with very weak pressure, which is a big minus on a cold winter morning in Pai. Also, the walls need painting.
GGuest UserI absolutely loved this place! Beautiful, quiet, very clean and and the family who manages it is delightful very kind and helpful always with a smile.
I extended my stay twice and that in itself says all. I will come back for sure!
AAlexandra ArmstrongClean room, basic setup with mattresses which are rather hard. Good location very central and near walking street, although a little noisy at night. Friendly staff.
GGuest UserThe location is beautiful, however, for what it costs the rooms are really tired. The food at the hotel was not very good. I’m not sure the experience justifies the cost.
DDmitrii GorbatenkoBudget-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Pai (Walkable to Everything!)
Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists.
Location: 5/5
You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee.
Value: 5/5
The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location.
Rooms & Comfort: 3/5
The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic.
Noise Level: 2/5
A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends.
Overall Impression:
If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match.
If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options.
Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples.
ЛЛеснаяIt is a nice place in General. But the staff do not speak English and at any case they call the owner and give you the Phone to talk. There is nobody at reception from the evening. At our Room on the second Floor there was an electrycity problem at night, the light was always bliking with the sound. So we could not use aircon, fen, fridge etc. It felt dangerous. It was on the whole Floor. We said it to the owner. But we were not sure that they would fix it, so next day we mooved to the 1st floor, where there was not such a problem. Byt the 1st Floor does not have such a beautiful View and aircon unfortunatly.
GGuest UserExcellent place for the price. It isn’t like some of the other places that are directly in town, but it’s like a 10 minute walk to get to the center of Pai. Kind staff and great amenities.
