"I stay at this place for 3 nights. The housekeeper don't change towels even I put a tag in front of the room to make up and forget to arrange the amenities when it runs out. I personally give a review to the staff about this already. There is a pub nearby even you stay at 6th floor, you will hear the noise. Every thing will be quiet when the bar is closed which is almost next morning. However, the room is pretty big and worth for your spend. The location is also nice. It is nearby everything. So if you don't have sleep problem, I recommend this place is worth to stay."

"This stay was a recommendation from a friend, who had stayed here before and raved about it, so I followed in their footsteps. I was impressed from the moment I called to inquire about booking. The young man (I forgot his name) provided excellent service. From my experience staying at four to five-star hotels, the service here is comparable to a five-star. Whether it was check-in, customer service, or even asking for help finding a rental motorbike, they were more than willing to assist and coordinated with the shop very well. The room itself was a 'wow' factor. Despite being a small hotel, it came with an air purifier, the hot water worked perfectly, and the air conditioning cooled down quickly. Plus, the TV was a smart TV, making it easy to connect to Netflix and YouTube with just a touch. In front of the hotel, there are local eateries; I'd say the food down the alley is delicious. The hotel is conveniently located close to various Chiang Mai attractions, as it's within the Old City moat, making travel easy. It's even more convenient if you have a motorbike. I don't know if I'm impressed, but what I do know is that I'll be booking this hotel forever. Don't just take my word for it; after reading this, come and experience it for yourself, and you'll realize hotels like this do exist. Thank you to both the young man and the young woman at the counter for their excellent service. See you again!"

"The Hornbill room is small but affordable. There's no elevator (though staff helped with luggage!). However, all other amenities are complete, including free hot and cold drinking water. The bed in the room is super soft and comfortable, the decor is beautiful and vibrant, it has a smart TV, and the air conditioning is ice cold. The room was clean and the staff were very attentive. The location is great, close to food options, but parking in front of the hotel is quite limited. Across from the hotel, there's a ******** shop, so if you don't like the smell, you might want to avoid it. The alley isn't a through street, so you have to turn around to exit. The room I stayed in had a view of the Wat Lok Moli pagoda, which wasn't spooky at all, in fact, it was quite beautiful. The walls are a bit thin; I could hear doors closing loudly because the bathroom door is a sliding one that tends to slide shut with a bang, which could be heard next door. Overall, I was impressed and would definitely stay again!"

"This hotel is conveniently located for exploring the old town on foot. Next door is a temple, and the view from inside the building was lovely. There's also a small pool. The hotel doesn't offer motorbike rentals, but the staff kindly directed me to a nearby rental shop. There's a Lotus Fresh relatively close by, so you can buy alcohol there. I saw a 7-Eleven across from the temple, but they didn't sell alcohol. The amenities only included soap and shampoo. I was able to borrow a hairdryer from the front desk. Overall, it felt a bit old, and I would have liked a toothbrush among the amenities, but it was a good place to stay with friendly staff."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location at the North Gate of Chiang Mai's Old City. Right downstairs, you'll find the night market and a Lotus supermarket, making it incredibly convenient for evening meals and various activities. It's also very close to the Old City. The hotel offers a wide range of massage and dining facilities, making it a truly outstanding choice. The family room is incredibly spacious, featuring two separate rooms, each with its own independent bathroom. The doors in the central corridor ensure privacy between the rooms, making it the perfect choice for families traveling together."

"I personally think the hotel is in a pretty good location. Being within the old city moat is already convenient, but the key is that it's not too crowded. The hotel itself is very nice inside. The room was clean, and all the plumbing worked perfectly. The bed was soft, and the pillows were soft. Even though there's no breakfast, you can request water and snacks for free in the morning until around early afternoon by providing your room number. The cons are: The room isn't soundproof (but I didn't hear much noise from outside on the day I stayed), the hotel is right next to the road, and there are manhole covers on the street. Cars driving over them create constant loud noise, which might be difficult for light sleepers. Lastly, the hotel doesn't have parking. It might be hard to find a parking spot, but there's a temple in the alley next to the hotel where you can park, although the temple gates have specific opening and closing times. Overall, I think it's very good. The cons are minor and acceptable, and can be resolved."

"Overall, it was okay..staff seemed friendly and they put a lot of effort in satisfying thr customers. However, i booked a female only room and i was uncomforrable with the bathroom cleanliness checks at random times even during night time at 11pm. I told them and they moved it to earlier during evening time. Not sure if this will always be the case so if it matters to you, you can check. Also the door sounds was just annoying and would constantly wake me up. The common area is only an outside area. There was a place that looked pretty usable to be a reception but instead its locked and staff need to stand outside. I didnt get this. There were boardgames to play and it was close to a mosque so there is halal food in the area and the markeet close by."

"We stayed here for 4 nights and main issue is that amenities are quite outdated. Shower floor didn’t drain quick enough and became like a mini swimming pool. Bed had a loose spring and scraped my leg. However, the staff provided great service and are very friendly. When notified about the bed spring issue, they got someone to fix it straight away. Amenities really needs to be updated as they are quite old."

Amazing
AAnonymous UserOverall, the property has a pleasant concept, and the surrounding greenery creates a very nice jungle‑resort, exotic atmosphere. The natural environment is well‑designed and enjoyable but my 2 nights stay came with several issues that future guests may want to be aware of. Considering the price, there are much better options in the area that offer a more comfortable experience and better facilities. 1. Privacy & Layout The architectural layout offers very limited privacy. From the balcony, neighboring rooms are directly visible, which made it difficult to use the outdoor space comfortably. 2. Cleanliness & Hygiene Some areas of the room were not thoroughly cleaned. The built‑in storage under the bed had visible dust and dirt, making it unsuitable for storing clean clothes. In the shower area, the pebble‑style floor creates many hard‑to‑clean corners. Before I even used the shower, I noticed hair and even ***** hair trapped between the stones. During showering, water drained extremely slowly, causing the floor to flood and submerge above my feet under standing water. This design makes the area prone to bacteria buildup and was uncomfortable to use, especially for female guests during sensitive times. 3. Bathroom Fixtures The handheld bidet spray had extremely strong pressure and ice‑cold water, which made it uncomfortable to use—especially for women during sensitive days. 4. Safety & Property Layout The property’s terrain is quite complex, with multiple staircases and uneven levels. At night, many areas are poorly lit, which can be unsafe if guests are not watching their step. Some decorative reflective pieces hanging from trees also create a rather unsettling atmosphere after dark. The corridor near my room remained unlit at night, making the area feel dim and uncomfortable. Additionally, during rainy weather, several outdoor areas accumulated water, making certain paths slippery and less safe to walk through. 5. Room FacilitiesvThe room does not have a wardrobe or proper clothing hangers. The only hanging option is a decorative tree‑branch style rack, which is suitable for small items but not for clothing. As a result, clothes can only be placed on the balcony, where humidity and rain make it difficult to keep them dry.vThere is also no bedside lamp or reading light, which makes the room not work‑friendly.vAdditionally, there is no luggage rack or storage space, so suitcases must be kept on the floor throughout the stay. 6. Condition of FacilitiesvMany parts of the property appear worn down and in need of maintenance. In the dining area, several corners and edges show visible deterioration, and I noticed areas with water leakage. Overall, the facilities feel quite aged and could benefit from repairs and updates. 7. Service & CommunicationvThere is no phone in the room, and front desk service ends around 10 PM. Even after I added the property’s contact information, my door was still knocked on at night despite having a “Do Not Disturb” sign displayed. Complimentary water was provided, but only when requested; it was not proactively replenished. 8. Deposit & BreakfastvThe property requires a cash deposit upon arrival, which feels unusual considering the age and condition of the facilities. Breakfast was provided, but the quality was noticeably lower compared to other homestays in the area. 9. Additional Safety ConcernsvI found a sharp, hard plastic piece in a dish I ordered. I pulled it out from my mouth, and I almost swallowed it. The meal was remade, but the original dish was not waived.vThe bathroom door lock also malfunctioned once. There were also quite a few jumping spiders in the room due to the environment, likely because regular insect control is not performed. I requested insect spray from the front desk, and they did respond quickly and helped resolve it.

GGiselle LuI extended my stay for two more days after the first night, and I'm extremely satisfied! Besides the excellent facilities and environment (honestly, for this price and quality, it's incredible value for money), the hotel also helps with SPA bookings and offers free airport transfers. The service is truly thoughtful. I slept wonderfully. The breakfast is delicious, and the daily in-room snacks are a special touch (they're different every day). If you want a comfortable, quiet stay in Chiang Mai, this place is definitely worth it.

GGuest UserThis hotel was lovely. Shame we only stayed one night. It was in a great location near all the markets, the hotel had a pool table, outdoor swimming pool and a foosball table. Great facilities for children. We were pleasantly surprised to have a huge interconnecting room. The two rooms were split with a dining room/kitchen and there were two bathrooms. The only downside to this was the breakfast, we went when it had just opened at 6.30am and the all the food were only lukewarm.

AAnonymous UserThis is my second time in Chiang Mai, and I chose this hotel again. This time, they've built a new wing, which has a slightly different style from the old one. The rooms in the new building are newer and offer more privacy. I had only booked one night in the new wing and the rest in the old one, but the front desk upgraded me to the new wing for all my nights. Every staff member was very nice. I'll definitely choose to stay here again the next time I visit Chiang Mai.

BBobsaThe hotel was convenient, but on the first night, a woman mistakenly came to our room, knocking and banging on the door in the middle of the night, which was a bit scary. Luckily, after I called, she left. The location is excellent, very convenient for getting around, and the triple room is great for families with kids. The water pressure in the bathroom faucet was a bit low, but otherwise, everything was good.

GGuest UserA Must-Recommend Hotel in Chiang Mai Location: It's a 15-minute drive to the Old City and a 10-minute walk to Nimmanhaemin Road. The surrounding area feels very safe; the main entrance is on a major road, making both car and pedestrian access very secure, which is a big plus. Price: Extremely reasonable. If you book a bit in advance, the value for money is exceptionally high. Facilities: The pool, though not large, is clean. The gym, while small, has new, complete, and very tidy equipment. Room: The high ceilings make the room feel exceptionally spacious, and even with an extra bed, it's still very comfortable. There's also a double French sofa, and the combination with the louvered windows is perfect for photos. The overall aesthetic is very French; those who love taking pictures could easily spend a whole day here. Breakfast: We stayed for three days, and the hot food station offered different dishes every day. While the selection wasn't huge, every item was exquisite. I especially loved the sandwiches.

NNry956A beautiful serendipitous spot to relax. Staff are all friendly and have high service mindset. I asked for Khao Soi which is not on menu and they did it for me. Surprisingly the dish was so delicious, one of good Khao Soi bowls I had. All details in the hotel are so well-curated. A location is good, nearby Wat U-mong which is nice to visit by walking. Not too far to go to center of a city. Lovely experience staying there.

TTwoRainbows_TravelProThis resort is so green! I enjoy the paradise atmosphere with plants all around me. The staff are so welcoming. This resort has comfortable design and a lovely pool deck. The garden is perfect for morning routines. I am happy to have a room close to the rooftop balcony. The room is clean and the service staff are friendly to help me. The Lush Café is too cute. My favourite place is sitting in the gazebo and listening to the water ambience. Location is accessible Shops nearby for lunch and coffee ** Vegan options for all day dining within walkable distance!! ** Breakfast is delicious with plant based salad bar I’d recommend this stay for travelers with holistic mindset, mindfulness practice and smooth aesthetics. I would stay again. Much Love.
