"The luckiest thing about our trip to Chiang Mai was discovering the Sannom Hotel. The environment and room facilities here are impeccable. It doesn't have the distant feel of a five-star hotel, but rather a perfect balance of comfort and relaxation. From the moment we checked in, we felt the true ease and relaxation of a holiday. All the front desk staff speak Chinese, which was such a rare and reassuring feeling to be able to speak our mother tongue in a foreign country. But even more moving than the facilities were the genuinely warm people at the hotel. Mr. Zhang, the owner, is incredibly enthusiastic and a man with many stories. From local food recommendations to travel tips, he provided invaluable, practical advice that saved us a lot of hassle and made our trip smooth sailing. What truly left an impression on us was when my partner unexpectedly got injured during our trip. In that moment of panic, Mr. Zhang and the hotel staff provided continuous support, helping us liaise with the hospital, patiently translating and communicating, and meticulously handling all the details. In a foreign country, we felt an immense sense of kindness and security that transcended any distance. Thank you, Mr. Zhang and the Sannom Hotel, for providing us with the most stable refuge and warmest care in Chiang Mai. We are grateful to have met such reliable and warm-hearted people."

"This stay was quite a letdown, especially since my expectations were pretty high beforehand. Compared to the general accommodation prices in Chiang Mai, nearly 400 RMB per night isn't cheap, but the actual experience didn't live up to that price point. **Check-in Experience:** Upon arrival at the apartment, I had to carry my luggage to the floor myself, as no staff offered any assistance. Since I arrived early, my room wasn't ready yet. They simply placed my luggage into the room I was scheduled to stay in, but there was still the previous guest's luggage inside. This made me feel that their luggage handling wasn't standardized and lacked security. **Facility Issues:** The biggest problem during my stay was the complete lack of hot water. Whether it was the shower or the sink, only cold water came out. I followed the host's water heater instructions repeatedly, but still no hot water. This severely impacted my experience. Furthermore, room facility maintenance was poor. When I hung my clothes on the wardrobe rod, it suddenly sagged due to loose screws, which gave me quite a fright and also felt like a potential safety hazard. The air conditioning noise was also very noticeable; it constantly made a roaring sound similar to a motorcycle engine when running, which affected my sleep at night. **Convenience of Use:** Although the room had a balcony, drying clothes on it was not allowed, and I didn't see any clear mention of this on the Ctrip page. I could only dry clothes indoors, but I couldn't find the drying rope mentioned in the property description. Additionally, there was no front desk phone provided in the room, nor any quick way to contact staff. When issues arose, I had to figure out how to contact them myself, which was inconvenient. **Public Facilities:** The pool and gym management was quite strict, requiring a room card for entry, which shows good organization. **Overall Impression:** This is the first time I've given a 'medium' rating to an accommodation after all these years of using Ctrip. Overall, the hardware of this apartment doesn't match its price positioning, especially regarding hot water, facility maintenance, and check-in service, all of which have significant room for improvement. If the price were around two or three hundred RMB, I might accept it, but at the current price, I don't think it offers good value for money. If you plan to book, I recommend managing your expectations beforehand."

"Booked the Sere White Double Room, and overall, we had a great stay. The room was spacious, clean, and offered a mountain view—although the view was only partially visible because of the surrounding buildings 😅 The hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast in the morning was also really good, with a nice variety of options. The location is another plus, as it’s conveniently close to the Nimman area. Overall, a comfortable stay and a good option if you want to stay near Nimman! Forgot to take pictures of room 🥲"

"Booked this place specifically for the river view. Every staff member provided excellent service, very attentive and completely exceeded my expectations. They even brought delicious roselle tea to my room every night. I also tried the breakfast and spa based on online reviews. The restaurant is next door, and the breakfast, with four options, was rich and delicious. It operates independently from noon onwards. The spa on the first floor is a must-try if you have enough time; the techniques are very different from other places and incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The other side of the river can be a bit noisy at night, but this side is just right. Crossing the bridge doesn't add much time. This is definitely a hotel I'll choose again when I visit Chiang Mai in the future."

"The hotel's location is ideal. Right outside the lobby, there's a shopping street with plenty of restaurants and massage parlors nearby, perfect for buying souvenirs.
